I owned a beautiful example of an E Type in 1973 beautiful machine, but I have to hand it to you what I have just viewed is out of this world. It just shows what can be done when a real artistical engineer gets to work, the most beautiful machine on 4 wheels. Thanks

Stunning functional artwork. I have met Chip - extremely personable, humble man, his lovely wife is same! My wife and I toured his shop some years ago and we saw Chip leaving for an appointment. I didn’t want to bum rush him and keep a distant away, he went out of his way to come over to introduce himself (as if he needed to!) and we were able to have brief, well appreciated conversation. I truly appreciate his talents, commitment to the auto industry and his generosity to others.

The car is hideous. I own a '67 E-Type roadster and I am usually pretty open to guys modifying their cars but this thing is just gross. And Foose has the audacity to claim that he knows better than the original designers. That would be Malcom Sayer and Bill Heynes, both geniuses in their own rights who are surely spinning in their graves.

This is just a work of art.
At first i looked at this Jaguar and i didnt knew what to think, but just the attention to details, the way its all custom made, simply all the effort put into making this the dream car of its owner, its beautiful.
You guys complaining about this "yeah the wheels are big" "standard" should get yourselves a Jag and build it the way you want it to, this belongs to his owner, its his car, if he wanted he could handle it to freaking West Coast Customs and they would put 22 inch dub wheels, scissor doors, a pep boys wing, ice cream machine to the back and a pool in the interior.
As far as custom made cars go, this is incredible.

It would have been (more) interesting to do a homage to the Jaguar D-Type racing wheels, which were in fact used on racing versions of the E type. And I do agree with others about the wheel vs tire ratio. Too much wheel; too little tire, and that affects practicality as well as esthetics.

personally, i kind of like this jag, but it could be done with litlle bit more finesse, you can is american" school" too much, which doesn't suit this car that great, imo. but fro sure i wouldn't mind having one, for sure..

It would be like throwing a Ls in a Ferrari , I personally find certain engines belong in certain cars

4:40 I wish that jacket wasn't there... but in retrospect, it dawned on me it was there for a purpose. Since the car wasn't entirely finished by then, it is likely the jacket was concealing something unfinished on the console, maybe the shifter, maybe something else. But this is, certainly, one of CF's most amazing builds, and those milled wire wheels are, by all means, the work of a genius. A humble genius no less.

One thing that I think would make this stunner even more appealing would have been to have normal sized tyres with a whitewall rather than these low profiles. Just my thoughts...
