For the detail and quality you put into this, your channel is severely underrated. You made the tips I’ve already heard feel new because of the information you put into it. Thank you so much.
I have watched many hair tutorials but never quite got the realistic look to it with only watercolors as the medium. I tried it after this video and it turned out so great 😊😊👍 Thank you very much ❤️❤️
Thank you for this! I've been struggling for years in my traditional art as Im more a graphic designer in vectors and such,, and your tips here helped me figured out my painting style in doing hairs, I still need more practices tho ehhehe thank you so much for this!
Happy New Year! This is FANTASTIC! And quite mesmerizing. The tip about relaxing the painting hand seems intuitively right. Prone to holding things with a death grip I’ve had to learn this lesson *so* many times - from piping royal icing to using wood carving tools. Very grateful for the reminder, and somewhat exasperated with myself for forgetting. Yet again. Haven’t tried anything portrait like yet, so a realistic and detailed like this tutorial is a huge help. Thanks so much.
I know hands are said to be hard! Give hair a try, just a strand to begin with, you can hardly go wrong with my tips because it's a process where you can take breaks easily and correct if you need to unlike wet in wet work.
i own the same brush but in size 4 and 12. these brushes keep shedding in my painting and was wondering if that was just because my brushes were defective or if there is something i'm missing...
What are you struggling with when it comes to portraits?
Iris
@@fallasleep368 I understand, lots of colors and details! Have you checked my eye painting I did one there?
Textures. Painting a close up of an old man’s face and seeing the pores up close.
How much time would you take to complete potrait
@@deepthidoni8479 between 4 to 8 hours it depends. The sketch takes a while.

This video is lovely. Thank you for the awesome tips. Could you maybe do a detailed hair tutorial? even if it is on skill share.
Thank you! I'm thinking of it, thank you for leaving me a message 🙂
oh shit if I could paint hair like this, yes please. I literally avoid hair at all cost. kind of like I avoid painting hands lol

Thankyou:)💜💜
It looks like you are using a pen or it is just you are holding brush like a pencil? You can tell I am a beginner.
I use a round brush that has a fine tip so it could look like a pen 🙂
to save pain I always make hain abstract cus its sooo hardd!!...
I understand. it is time consuming but I see what you mean 🙂 I personally love detail and spending time refining my paintings so it doesn't bother me.
What kind of brush you use...
Look in the description of this video and you will see the names and links to everything I use 🙂
Great tips ☺️😊👍👌 like if u agree

I haven't had this problem at all with them and been using them heavily for quite a while, maybe it's a defect with yours in particular?
Oh are you french ?
