    Happy New Year! This is FANTASTIC! And quite mesmerizing. The tip about relaxing the painting hand seems intuitively right. Prone to holding things with a death grip I’ve had to learn this lesson *so* many times - from piping royal icing to using wood carving tools. Very grateful for the reminder, and somewhat exasperated with myself for forgetting. Yet again.
    Haven’t tried anything portrait like yet, so a realistic and detailed like this tutorial is a huge help. Thanks so much.

      I know hands are said to be hard! Give hair a try, just a strand to begin with, you can hardly go wrong with my tips because it's a process where you can take breaks easily and correct if you need to unlike wet in wet work.

    i own the same brush but in size 4 and 12. these brushes keep shedding in my painting and was wondering if that was just because my brushes were defective or if there is something i'm missing...

    • @paintingandchocolate
      @paintingandchocolate  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven't had this problem at all with them and been using them heavily for quite a while, maybe it's a defect with yours in particular?
