It's really nice to see how such a stylized technique plays out, you have a lot of very unorthodox or "untraditional" ways of going about watercolour, and I think it's important to show that you can really expand and change the methods into different unique outcomes like that
I loved your long video. Long is what I need as a beginner using watercolor. For 10 years I’ve been painting portraits in oil on canvas. Watercolor is much more of a challenge ! I can work and rework a nose for example in oil, but not so much with watercolor. There are many surprises using watercolor as to what the paint will do all on its’ own !

this is actually the only one that showed a different technique in applying watercolor. others starts with light color then layers the dark tones. yours is different which is really cool. that sums up that watercolor is very versatile to different styles. labyu

Also, I thinks its very clever splitting the screen like this, I know it was made 3 years ago, but it works wonders for people with a shorter attention span today;

Ooooo. I just bought some higher quality paints and was going to paint a portrait to see how good they are, but I’m kind of stumped when it comes to painting faces. I’ve just never gotten the values right. Hopefully this helps me though. 😅
