I'm so glad he said he didn't change the sound because of fans. A band has to be able to grow. People call that selling out but selling out is being untrue to yourself and what you feel as you write music. Some of my favorite bands have changed over the years and they've lost fans because of it because those fans haven't grown like the band has, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
