for this specific build, i feel like you should add bunk beds to the cells since there are usually more than one sim in each cell.
I really liked that the update wasn't about "improving" the build stylistically, but about embracing the existing aesthetic and editing the lot in accordance to the increased build options we have now. so often we look back on the things we made in the past and cringe instinctively, even if there's no real reason to, so this was refreshing to see
Yes please do a hospital build! And the science lab! But of your old builds that could be remastered with new features….Shipping yard home from years ago, very early build. Odd circle floor plan home (connected octagons), curved walls in the sims 4 circle house build (not real curved walls just platforms), any of the pond or lake builds.
WE REALLY WANT TO SEE YOU FINISH COLUMN HOUSE JAMES
The reason you didn't use half-walls for the desk room was probably because back then all of the walls you built on the lot had to have the same founation height. Differing heights came with the landscaping update

If you think about it, the Bigwallet Emporium has been remade many times. It just started as a gallery with Lady, but it's also been a night club and a resturant. And Reggie plans on buying it and turning it into a clothing store later on. So while it might not have been updated as a gallery other than the stages it went through when Lady owned it, it has still been updated alot.

The old days of TS4 really did push us to think a bit more creatively..
Also that "park" looks like it could fit 2 lots to build in, so yeah it would be nice if we ever get an update of get to work that makes the world accessible
Hi James, I was wondering if you could renovate Columns house as part of the current Rags to Riches series. For example, one of Reginald’s children could pursue a career as an interior decorator and takes on the job of renovating their grandma’s house. Just an idea 🥰

Before watching this video to the end, I gotta say something. It's hilarious that you're doing this! I caught up to the current let's play and got sad that I have to wait every two days to see a video from you so I started the lady bigwallet let's play series and Last thing I watched last night is when you added more computers to the police station! And I the last thing said to myself is, “man, wish he updated the build better”. Also, you were streaming the get-to-work bakery in between and you were saying you would do a 12 hr stream when u get 100 subscribers. Look at you now! Congratulations for all that you have accomplished in the last 7 years!!

Get To Work is one of the best packs because of all the awesome gameplay. The science career is my favorite thing in the game. I'd love a refresh of this pack with a few more playable careers.
There is something very satisfying about revisiting old builds and giving them remaster. I'm a much better builder than I used to be and I've redone a lot of houses and lots I built in my early days of playing. I used to use prebuilt rooms of all things in the beginning.
This brings back such memories. This was one of the first big build series I watched by James and I remember being so blown away by the innovative use of build mode with the sunken areas and things lol. Amazing how far we've come

Remastering other lots would be cool! And being able to visit the get to work lots would be a lot of fun tbh. Like being able to get treated at the hospital if you get sick or reporting a kleptomaniac sim at the police station!

This is something I'd like EA to do with the Base game and older expansion worlds. The builds do not have to be completely redone, but they could have things implemented into them that they weren't able to at the time. Certain lights could be replaced for better lighting, the Landgraabs could have a swimming pool that could fill in the huge empty space that is their back yard, decor sneakily added later in the game could be put into often used builds to show older players that they exist, layout could be changed a bit due to the configuration abilities now available for stairs, Alexander Goth could get to his room via a ladder, Planet Honey Pop! could become an actual enclosed room with a real platform for the stage. And while doing these edits, they could probably fix the goofs in some builds, from The Blue Velvet's bathroom curtains to the house in Glimmerbrook that had stairs leading to nowhere...
The apartment complex from a while ago would be awesome to see renovated

Been rewatching Get to Work Rags to Riches and would love to see Lady’s gallery / loft get redone, maybe with the Industrial loft kit and werewolf stuff! Plus it could be interesting to redo with platforms AND be a great business for Reginald to acquire in the HSY rags to riches!
With the High School Years update adding unchangeable lot types (High school and auditorium), I think they could easily update this pack to do the same thing and add the world as a normal visitable location.

This is funny because I started watching your videos recently with the high school let's play and then I started watching the full Bigwallet series since the beginning and I also thought about you redoing those builds with the new updates. And I was mainly thinking that renovating the Bigwallet Imporium which was transformed into a nightclub and then a restaurant would be really cool, especially the nightclub version.
Now that we have round walls it would be amazing to see a Jetsons house build… and let’s not forget The Flintstones

Maybe when Reg and Kevin buy the Bigwallet emporium, there could be space, maybe in a basement or second floor, that is dedicated to yoga and meditation classes that Kevin could teach or the current small thrift store could be turned into that at some point. Also, maybe Addison or his sister could become dream home decorators and work on Column's house. It could be like Column prefers her house to only get makeovers from family.
As for the million simoleon challenge you did not long ago, maybe you could see how long it would take you with book royalties only. Maybe you could have it so that the copypasto spell can only be used a certain amount of times on each one. If you wanted to, you see how long it would take by only doing streaming (all the ways you can in TS4) and playing video games. A third suggestion would be to take all the ways you can make money and Semaj is only allowed to do each way only once. For example, only being allowed to make 1 candle, use the woodworking table once, the flower arranging table once, etc. Semaj could even be allowed to do the copypasto spell or use the cloning machine and he's allowed to do it only a certain amount of times or until it fails (like when you did the copypasto and sometimes it doesn't always work.). You would get to choose for each object which way you want to get more of that object.

He tried that with the desk, it wouldn't let him eyedropper it (that's the E).
I wish we could go to the career lots whenever. Sick sim, hospital. Get caught stealing, police station. The scientist lot even has a tourist area in front
My cop sims would use the auditorium to make speeches about how nothing happens when they're on patrol.

Thank you so much for the solution to the curved foundation glitch on the old lots. I loaded in to Studio PBP Lounge and was horrified to discover glitchy curved foundation pieces. Good grief! 🙄Now I can fix it!
