You should make the other twins house in one of the Larger lots in Windenburg or Henford on Bagley. The mom could have a bridal shop I'm pretty sure she designed wedding dresses in the movie so maybe her job could be a stylist. Parent Trap is one of my comfort movies.

I agree wholeheartedly. I love your humility, you need that in life, but your builds are some of the most impressive, beautiful and functional!!!

The standing lights in the table to mark where to place the table decor is such a helpful tip! I've never seen anyone else do that.

Great build. It looks really cozy for such a large build. So I grew up watching the old movie with Hayley Mills as the twins, and my son watched Lindsay Lohan. For any generation they are cute films and a great inspiration for a build like this. You did such a good job.

I watched that build now for the fifth time and it still amezes me, and I will watch the parent trap right after for the fifth time because I get the urge to when you talk so happy about this movie.

I love that you come up with stories about the people in the houses you build. I do the same thing when I build and I maintain that better houses come from it

This build is absolutely amazing and it is just stunning with the terrain manipulation and vineyard vibes. I feel like the other twin sister should live in like the suburbs and with a large family just to contrast this twin sister.

The tool that you placed with the grapes is called a Sickle. I don't know if that would be used irl to harvest grapes but in the Sims, it's up to imagination! Cool build, I would love to place this in one of my saves!

    • @ILUVTOLUV
      @ILUVTOLUV 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

Grapes can be harvested with a pair of scissors

    • @Pollicina_db
      @Pollicina_db 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Sickle is too huge to harvest grapes lol, I usually use scissors, but many older family members use little knifes.
Sometime if you have a long and hard nail you can even harvest it just using your thumb (sometimes I can do it)

I've watched a few of your builds now, and I love how you use placeholder objects like the water bottle to block the snapping function, letting you place what you want anywhere. Also the use of the lamps to block out the area of a table you want to decorate. So smart and I'm going to start using those techniques as well.

Just from an architectural standpoint, the domain is beautiful. The interior decoration and story telling is on point also. Very reminiscent of the architecture here in southern France (even if the Toscana inspiration is very present). The bigger vineyards are almost like small keeps, perched on hilltops with walled courtyards. You captured that, with this build.
    Great creation!

love the idea of doing a rags to riches of a wine maker and once he gets enough simoleans he can have a vineyard like this built, and then lots of fam drama because the kids are ungrateful for the hard work dad put into the place XD also soooo happy we have both wine making now in the sims and horses, idk why but in alot of games I love making drinks, potions etc so when they added another way to make simoleans with random bottled liquids my goofy brain was so happy XD I also love the parent trap, my big comfort films tho were both teh princess diaries movies and both miss congeineality movies, my fave line from parent trap tho is when the mum is at the bar after finding out about meridith blake and she says "I think I just drank tar" XD

I think a good idea for another build would be if you made a secluded house (possibly in Windenburg or Henford-on-Bagley) for a Princess! If you’ve ever seen the movie Enchanted, it could be something like that where she used to be a princess from a far off land, but magically arrived here and now lives off on her own in a cottage somewhere or with a family.

omg i just discovered ur channel recently and this is definitely my favorite vid so far!! btw, i think that that grass harvesting tool is a sickle. it originates from ancient egypt, but became common all over the world, including europe and, which is where that specific style and make of the tool in ur build comes from. it was used to collect wheat like a mini scythe (the weapon the grim reaper carries; reapers were people who collected wheat and hay during harvest so the grim reaper collected souls of the dead with either a sickle or scythe)

The tool you're talking about is called a Sickle. Think of it has a mini scythe, it has the same purpose has a scythe but it's smaller for berries/grain while scythes are mostly for hay, grass, and other tall crops. It was invented in Mesopotamia but it it's also used in other regions like North America & Africa. Hopes this helps

  • @Pollicina_db
    @Pollicina_db 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Everything looks pretty but I would just like to comment the vineyard:
the bushes are too close together and you wouldn’t be able to access both sides of the vines when the harvest comes, hell it would be hard to mawn the grass and to take care of the overgrown branches.
Also it doesn’t seem you put any support (be it a wooden or stone column). Also the bushes and trees you put are wayy too close to the vines, it could overgrow and block the entrance to the rows. And we don’t use scicle to harvets the grapes, usually tiny scissors or a tiny knife.
Otherwise a nice and pretty build❤

I want a vineyard restaurant but I’m not sure how to make it.
Not just drinks but fancy dining, the new nectars, nectar tasting. That stuff but the outside is the very vineyard the wines come from. Maybe even a place to make more nectar, a giant cellar.

The 'knife' is a hand-scythe! I doubt you'd use it to harvest grapes...but who cares! It looks good where it is. xD But yeah, the Parent Trap you're talking about is a re-make! The original is honestly better, but the Lohan one isn't bad! (Pretty sure even the original only had one little girl who was mirrored in the film just like with Lohan. That's a very old filming technique, in fact, by the time it's used in that Lohan re-make!) But go watch the original, if you haven't!! That one is kind of a comfort movie for me, talk about nostalgia.

your build is all kinds of amazing!
it s very cluttered and stuffy for me, as I m more masculine spartan,
but it s more realistic as if someone would actually live there.
I noticed that all feminine builds are like this, very busy and warm.
most masculine builds are colder and focused on practicality.
I guess middle ground must be perfection, ha, ha!
I was curious about the sims 4 ranch pack.
I had sims 2 with all expansions and stuff.
because of gameplay and builds possibilities, I still prefer sims 2,
but the graphics are a notch above in 4 of course.
while most people do families, I only did mine with me as the main character,
all others are beautiful girls according to my design, D.
kind of like the playboy mansion, but extended to the whole city.
I pretty much owned the whole city too.
but even then, 10 mil house as yours would require an effort to afford.
I don t remember how rich my character was at the end, it was about 2008...
I m not sure how expensive was my biggest house, I d say around 2 mil...
businesses were my most expensive builds I think.
maybe it went up to 4 mil or something.
I had community lots to drink extending life and aspiration, juices to add skills and badges,
a robot manufacture, flower shop for the dragon mood flowers,
and multiple lots to make money for the newbies.
because of the flowers in every location, it was a breeze to stay as long as one wants on each lot or house,
as with those, only the energy bar goes down over time, very practical.
once you knew the game real good, only the first character is a hassle to build,
getting the flowers as soon as possible, to keep 'needs bars' high,
opening a business to make plenty of money, and growing vegetables - fruits to make the power - skills juices.
you can then make community lots to build the rest of the characters very easy.
by putting aspiration objects on lots and selling them back to the community,
all can be used endlessly for all characters, waaay easier!
all of them get very rich fast in a minimum of time, and then, they spend much more on your businesses.
at the end, I was making 100k per day no problems.
also, people don t mention this very much, but once you sold the business, and bought it back,
employees cost a lot less in payroll, from $30 an hour to about $4...
NOW the money is raking high a lot more!
it s sad that almost no one uses these tricks on the tube, only making families,
which of course, get quite boring over time.
I just have 0 interest in those social dramas that many people do with the sims in gameplay.
the 'rags to riches' challenge is quite easy to fulfil with my concept.
one just needs to go where my Hawaian slot machine is every day, 5 - 6 hours and you can pay all bills for the week...
I liked building houses as you do, but my main buzz quickly turned to community lots over time.
the dragon flowers made all the difference on how enjoyable it was to visit them.
    good show sis.

Hi! I just wanted to say that I absolutely love all of your builds. I mainly download builds that contain CC - BUT - yours are so detailed and realistic that I often forget it is cc free. And love that you add storylines to your builds, which gives me Ideas for my own personal save. I also really appreciate all the time you spend to put activities in for our sims. So many builders will plot a tv and then thats about it.. So Thank U! - BTW- I adore listening to you talk, LOL! luv your accent and tone, very relaxing!
