- Believe it or not, but right after I downloaded the witchcraft part (0:36 - 2:04), the original video - which had more than 300k views - got deleted by the time I uploaded the video. What where the odds this would happen? Thankfully, however, others have uploaded it too.

As smart as Sam is, which is incredibly significant, some of his ideas are so basic yet so many people today still want to ignore it. Such as, why do people pretend to know things they do not know and how do they really obtain comfort in these ideas which if looked at critically fall apart rather quickly?

K-- As I was being asked more and more ridiculous questions by the sweet elders of our little church, at, I guess 13, I realized I didn't believe a word of it, but I went along with the charade, and enjoyed the wine. We don't observe mutations resulting in new species (just variety within same species) evolution, and through DNA studies we have proven we are locked in to a DNA code and cannot mutate in to new species ("falsified"). We do observe kind producing kind in every life form (observation) creation, and DNA studies as mentioned above show that to be the case with all living things (tested as true). You and little Sammy can try and pass your theories of primordial soup or crystals or aliens seeding earth and a rat like land animal evolving in to whales with no evidence all you want and i will believe and put my trust in Jesus Christ. I like Sam Harris. He's a smart guy. He just happens to be WRONG when it comes to atheism. It's really too bad because he so eloquently describes his position. It's just that his position is wrong. He should really study the thing he has to base his beliefs on and that is the absurdity that is Darwinism. As I said he's a smart guy and maybe he could start to see the massive gaping problems that will never be overcome when it comes to that idiotic theory.

@@majmage You cannot have atheism without Darwinism. It's really the only reason for the theory to begin with. It is a way to explain the world around us without God. Therefor to disprove Darwinism is to disprove atheism... and that is quite easy to do.

Sam Harris has no sense of humour. He occasionally says humorous things, but they are accidental in that they are just creative anecdotes to make a point. Has he ever laughed, especially at someone else. He smiles, but that’s happiness, not humour. 20% of the population don’t have a sense of humour at least so it’s not unusual.
Howard J Cartmell People can also smile when they find something humorous. They don't need to laugh. You can see that Sam is aware that people will find what he is going to say humorous because of his smile and the pause he makes before saying it. That shows clearly that he has a sense of humour.
