- 💭 Odd.. Indian Motorcycle shipped 2022+ Indian Chief with TPMS capable wheels. Shipped with a way to natively pair TPMS sensors. However, no TPMS sensors are available for sale. What gives? I show Folks how to do this at home as dealers more than likely won't do this.

Brandon, I'm sure that you get a whole lot of people wanting you to work on their Indian motorcycles.
For sure within my small local groups. Once one person knows, everyone does.
That screw is $35, btw. 🌚
WOW!!
When I bought my 2022 Indian Chief Darkhorse motorcycle I couldn't get the sensors. The dealer didn't have them in stock and had never installed them because on the bigger Indian motorcycles they come as standard equipment. After 6 months I was able to get them from the dealer and have them installed. I didn't wait until I needed new tires. Definitely a mistake. It was very costly to have them installed. The installment cost is a discouragement to get them. However, once you have them, well, it is great, although they are not completely accurate, just as in the cars. These sensors should be standard on any Indian motorcycle that comes equipped with Ride Command.
Maybe cost was a reason to not do it from factory. No idea but definitely a pricey install. I do enjoy the feature.
I actually put new tires on my 2022 cheiftan base model and the dealer was able to add the tpms one dealer however did tell me it couldn't be done but it works fine
Yep, gotta find the one willing to do it. 🤙🏾 Glad it worked out for you!
I really wish they had included those from the factory on the Sport Chief. A couple of questions for you:
Do you have any experience with the aftermarket tire pressure sensors
And what's the brand and model of your gas cap?
No experience with aftermarket sensors.

@@BrandonBicasso thank you!
Now how hard(expensive) is it to add ride command to a base chief ?
A couple grand at least. Easy to do.
That is wild that they don't all come equipped.
Super odd tbh.
Can you swap the Ride Command and analog speedometers? I want to see if the analog speedo will work on my RC bike.
Yes, no issues swapping them.
thank you@@BrandonBicasso
Glad you're speedometer was set to KPH. 😉🤣
The Mayor gave me a pass too.
i wonder if you just use a good double sided tape to mount them on the spoked wheels if itll work. forgot they have inner tubes, nevermind lol
JB weld and send it. 😂 You’ll hear that sucker knocking like a rod.
They did the same on the 2025 scouts I just bought a 101 scout an there is no reading for it on the ride command but has the option for it ....I wonder if I could do this to mine?
You can, but question is if the wheels have the slot for it.
@BrandonBicasso good to know! I guess I'll find out when I replace the tires 🤔
I’d love to know so if you remember, hit me up. 🤙🏾
For the cost of the entire set up. Id just go without. I can tell from the feel when the tire psi is low. But thanks for sharing
🤙🏾
unfortunately the 21 Vintage does not support the TPMS feature
Booo
It already had thread lock on
Yeah, dried and cracked thread locker like chapped lips.
the sensor is available from Amazon for $22
Don’t forget the $35 screw. 🥺
