My BMW 530I is on code P0455 the filler cap is fine would appreciateyour help in my do it yourself attempt to fix it.
Do the smoke test and check all the gas tank hoses underneath the car. For my issue, it was the charcoal canister beside the gas tank, i replaced that and code went away. Hope this help. By the way i got rid of the car a year ago.
