Firstly you are very good presenter. No messing about. Clear and well spoken. So good on you there . Would the unit you have there be powerful enough for both water-based ( noticed the Teknos cans ) and solvent ( oil / alkyd gloss, satins etc ) for all woodwork ?
Yes, you need a compressor for the pump plus you must also be able to deliver 30 psi at the most to the gun. There's a 100 mesh filter in the body of the gun where the fluid hose connects. You should also have with you throat oil to lubricate the piston rod before each session.
Thank you, that's pretty close to what it can do. If you don't use the fan control it will just about run it. We supply compressor too so if you want to talk it though just give us a call!
It's hard to say with the lacquers and all syrup like viscosity fluids but I will say this from my experience you cannot put safety yellow epoxy through this. It will pump but the spray is more of a stream. I had to use really low pressure with the atomizing air cranked up. I'm not doing that again at least with the same setup. I'll try the 715 or the 717 tip next time because 513 didn't work well.
Yes, the 30:1 pump does nicely with any material measuring 20 seconds - 30 seconds through a Ford #4 viscosity cup. My settings are 23psi on the air, and 30 - 40 psi on the fluid. I use 509, 609, and 611 tips. The 30:1 pump has a much narrower pickup tube than does the 15:1 pump. Meaning, if you're spraying every day, you save $thousands a year in cleanup solvent vs the 15:1 pump and it's elephant trunk puckup tube.
30:1 would probably do it for you but the larger Mercur model would give you better options. 30:1 and a Gentilen compressor would still give you a tasty setup.
I agree, using the larger model would be better for a business. I don't really like the intense pulsation effect it gives in the spray. I use the big one every day and I'm hooked. I prefer this over the infinity.
Hey nice Vid! Do you have any expierence with high viskos coatings (50.000mPA*s)? Is it possible to spray this typ of coating with the Mini Merkur ES? Thank you!
own the very same machine for 5 yrs and it's been absolutely great to me and producing as good as a factory finish on jobsites

Top video and looks a great machine
Wooww as I see you are spraying beside a ProMix with Gunflush box 👍
this pump need compressor? show us all instalation what need (compresseur, electricity, filters, flexible and all system in wood workshop )think you

Great demo of the Merkur. Would a Gentilin c330 be ok to use with this?

thanks. very good presentation . make a demo with graco electrostatic xp gun please.
Thank you, will see what we can do!
Will the 30:1 pump and G40 gun perform well at lower pressures with lacquers and acid-catalyzed finishes?

Hi. Would this set up be good enough for a cabinet making company? Spraying doors side panels and that in polyurethane paint?

Can I use this one from your website ABAC Vento B15 Baseline 240V, will it work with Merkur?
Hi everyone. Would you tell me why mine pump ‘pulse’ when priming instead of consistent flow?
Como posso compra
What kind of compressor is required? 50 Lt?
7CFM
Mine came with the g50 gun
and the sides?
What type of filter are you using?
Diffent filters in AAA guns than regular airless guns. G40 gun here uses a small top hat style filter. Filter sizes 60, 100 mesh etc.
That can’t be latex that would run like crazy
