Very nice. I have made a couple of your chest rigs, and will be making a placard for a S&W Shield/AR mag for it. Thanks.

Hey man, love ur channel. You got me into this hobby and since I've started I have been able to make some pretty solid designs. If you're interested in any sewing patterns for gear that are easy to make let me know.

Ok, I’m inspired. Zero sewing machine knowledge though. The one you have linked seems a bit more modern that what you’re using. Would it make more sense to grab something vintage? They seem to be more tank like in their build.

Mine is an old upholstery machine that I found on Craigslist and it is beefy (literally an entire table). Old doesn’t necessarily mean heavy duty but if you can find an old industrial machine that would be pretty cool but not completely necessary. I used an $80 brother from Walmart for the first year of my channel and it could do 80% of what this one does.

@@thriftyoperator637 roger that! I will happily buy a more budget friendly one lol. Saw a cool Omani dpm chest rig online today but the price was insane. That’s what made me think i could possibly do it myself. You’ve gotta a new sub along for the ride brother. Thank you.

    Is your plate carrier homemade?

I usually use shoe glue in between layers, to strengthen and stiffen the fabric.
Your videos are great, but my OCD can't stand that you just eyeball all your stitching. I need a ruler.
