I want to experiment with robic material similar to this ripstop and dcf dyneema too. Super light weight.

Been working on chest rigs, but this will be something I make for christmas too! One more rig, then moving on to these.

Nice! What type of chest rigs are you making?

@thriftyoperator637 The first was a modified version of your videos, cut to a size closer to a Haley Strategic, with 4 mag pouches. The second, that, I'm currently working on, will be a bit different than that, but still should turn out okay.

    Another awesome videos always!
A video idea I would love to see would be a “tactical Fanny pack,” one that could hold a small pistol.

Thanks. I made some fanny packs a couple years ago. I like to use one when kayaking so I don’t have to worry about my stuff falling into the water. I may have to make another.

@@thriftyoperator637 Nice! I have one I use to carry my pistol when hiking & biking; it has Velcro loop on the inside, so I attached some Velcro hook to the back of an extra holster and attached it inside the pouch. This allows a completely safe carry option when a belt isn't really an option, the only downside is the fanny pack is sort of flimsy (it's a ripstop type material). I imagine a cordura one would work well.

@@unashamedly1776 nice. I use a small chest rig to carry when I’m hiking with any pack that keep me from carrying on the belt line.

@@thriftyoperator637 That's a good idea as well. My first sewing machine is supposed to arrive today, a micro chest rig is on my list of projects.

Should've added a stiff peace of plastic on the open edge so it doesn't fold inwards, but then you can't fold it so tight. In Estonia there is a store called Galvi Linda you can look it up it has that type of drop pouch and it's the best I've ever seen.

I've been worki on Makin a hill.people hear ches rig. It's pretty tough IMO. I'd like to see u do it. I like it bc it doesn't look tactical when hunting or hiking. No need for the mags. Also the claimshell part is pretty tough. Most videos show the pouch made with the zipper only goin about half way down. Also figuring out how to figure out how long to cut fabric when using zippers.thansk
