I had a followup question to what I had posted previously, my question has 2 parts 1) if the request for resubmission of photographs is made after I have left Canada, and I send the soft copies, how do I ensure that they have the typical "address where it was clicked, date clicked etc stamped" on the back of the photograph

With a soft landing do you have to declare all you "Goods to Follow" at soft landing or when you return to settle permanently? What do you say to the customer officer to avoid confusion?

@Ask Kubeir I have COPR now but my port of entry has to be Regina (under SINP). In case they commence the processing of the card, can I give a non-Saskatchewan address of a friends in Toronto/Calgary) to receive our cards (3 cards) and ask them to courier it outside Canada (lets say Singapore)?

Prtd is just a travel document so that you can enter Canada in the absence of a PR card.
Your residency obligation has nothing to do with PR card or prtd. The clock starts from the day of your first entry
Hi Mr Kubeir, thanks a lot for sharing your insights. I landed in Toronto on 23rd June 2022 and my PR card is currently in process with a timeline of 2-3 months for delivery. I had to return back to Atlanta on 6th August 2022 to continue with my master's degree. I have a signed COPR copy from my initial landing. And I also have a SIN number issued. In such a scenario, if I need to re-enter Canada, can I do so via land border route in a private vehicle? Or do I need a PRTD to re-enter Canada? Thanks a lot and awaiting for your valuable feedback.

My ICT work permit is going to expire soon. If I leave Canada, in case my WP is not extended, will this result in cancellation of my already approved application. I applied through Alberta Tech Pathway. And if I receive eCOPR after I left Canada will I still be a PR? If yes how can I travel back?

Hello Mr Kubeir, I am planning to do a soft landing soon, knowing that I get nominated by the province of NB. I heard that there is a form name is NB-13 which need to be sent to the government of NB during the first 30 days in NB. And if you dont send it, the NB will send you a recall email.
My question : should I send this form during soft landing ? Or I need to send it after I come back to NB for good ? and what should say if they send me a recall email ?

As Ontario Land Border is closer to our place. Actually we are not planning to go Regina this time. We are planning to return from land border (Ontario) after activating PR. Final move to Regina we will do after few months.
We Will give our Saskatchewan relative’s address . Will it work? Or we also can give some relatives address who resides in Ontario?

Hi Kubeir, I just did soft landing and the airline made sign a waiver saying thet they told me the risks of travelling etc. And now I’m scared of don’t be able to como back. 😰

Mr. Kubeir, My husband and I found your video very helpful. We are US citizens who received our eCoPR electronically while in Canada a few days ago. I have heard it referred to as a virtual landing. We are beginning the process of establishing residency but need to return to the US this week for one day by car. From your video it appears that we will have no trouble crossing the land border for one day, is that correct?
The more serious issue is that we plan on returning to the US for 3 months, coming back to Canada for good in July prior to the expiration of our CoPR. Our daughter lives in Canada. She will receive and forward our PR cards. What happens if we have not received our PR cards by July? How do we return to Canada. We are assuming that we cannot just come in on our US passports. Is this correct. Thank you for your assistance.
U can travel to and fro Canada/US thru the land border as and when you wish using your copr/US passports
I read that in order to keep your PR status, you need to be in the country 3 years out of the last 5 years and my copr expires next year, so can I try to maximize my 'time' by waiting until the last month before my copr expires then soft land in canada to start the clock for the 5 years pr requirement? I'll then sort out my affairs in my home country for the next 2 years and come into canada for good on the 3rd year. also, can you make a video on what are some questions that the immigration officer is going to ask and how to answer them so it doesnt confuse both parties? thank you

I am Rezanur Rahman from Bangladesh. Recently i have received COPR for saskatoon. I will land on 19 oct 2022 and return to Bangladesh on 7 Nov 2022. I will give the address of my relative for the delivery of my PR card. Then they will send it to me through fedex in Bangladesh. Is there anything illegal in it? Thanks in advance.

The RCIC have submitted the PR application on our behalf, but didn't uploaded documents such as: ECA, IELTS and Nomination Certificate saying that IRCC will verify those documents on their own; she daid that since the reference numbers on those documents have provided in our profile, that CES must have already sent our ECA report and the nominated province must have sent a copy of the nomination certificate, and that IRCC will also verify the IELTS result through the result reference number already provided on the PR application portal.
What advise can you give in this regard. Can this affect the application?.
Providing ECA copy is mandatory. In its absence there is a high chance IRCC may reject your application, as has been seen several times in the past

Hi Kubeir something I was searching for in comments yet couldnt find, I have read that sometimes they point out issues in photos/ signatures submitted for PR card and if the person had returned after soft landing, how does one tackle this issue?
You can send soft copies of your new photos to your friend/relatives and they can post them for you

Great video, just one question, is it advisable to book a ticket before landing in canada or should it be booked after landing in canada, I mean do border services keep an eye for this?
No they don't ask for any return ticket and neither check for it

I have heard that PR cards are not being sent by mail these days and COPR holder is being asked by email to get the PR Card from respective center. Is this true ? If yes then how can one come back let's say after one month because PR Card Processing time is around 3 months these days. Will PRTD be a normal process or they will ask the reason of going back before issueing PRTD

Hello Mr. Kubeir, thanks for the detailed information. I'm in a similar situation and was planning to do a soft landing in May. I have a couple of questions.
1. If the immigration officers halts the processing of the PR card after knowing my plans of soft landing(if it happens), will there be any issues in getting the PRTD document after I go back to the home country? What are the chances of my request for a PRTD to be rejected?
2. Will the PR card be delivered by mail to the address shared by me at the time of landing? Can my friend collect it for me or do they insist on giving the PR card only to the applicant?

@@rameshtimande3100 Hey, I did a soft landing a couple of weeks ago and the whole process took 15 mins. The officer at the Toronto airport asked for the COPR copies, my passport (to check the stamping), asked a couple of basic questions about the assets and a Canadian address to send my PR to. I was just there for the weekend and back in 2 days.

if you have appoved LMIA your can go to the border and apply for work permit.
If you are a spouse of international student or international foreign worker in job NOC 0/A/B, then you can go to the border and apply for the work permit

thats they way it is. They dont put any stamps on it. With the border officer's signature it is considered as valid and you now have valid PR status in Canada
