Can we just talk about how perfectly tailored Eugene's pants were? After she taught him how to sew a single stitch he immediately made a pair of Zara pants lol.
Well he had a stretchy material and he understood the shape that the pieces should have since he was originally going to trace them. So he had some stuff going for him.
Stretchy pants are easy to make.... but that style is difficult to make on twill or cotton
He also said he's hand sewn some clothes before, so he understands some of the basic things about measurements and seam allowance that the other guys don't
If he's handsewn things before he's learned the hardest part, patterns.
Now that he's learned machine sewing he'll never have to buy pants again.

Eugene is that one kid who sleeps through the entire math class, and when the teachers calls on him to answer a question, he walks over to the board in a daze and does the problem in five steps.

My mom is a seamstress so I had to share this video with her. She said it took about an hour to finish watching because she kept cry laughing. She said its the hardest she's laughed in months and she is going to share it with all her seamstress friends. Thank yall for all the work you do to bring joy to others and especially my momma 💜

So here’s a fun hack if your new to sewing and not sure how to take measurements or read a store pattern. Wrap yourself in clingfilm and go over it with ducttape, then you have a pattern perfectly sized to your body and you can trace the seamlines while it’s still on you, then cut down the seam lines and trace onto fabric with a half inch seam allowance

@@alicebubbles0193 whilst it is true that sizes are inconsistent across brands, sizes are definitely trending downward; an old size 10 is a lot smaller than a newer size 10. I’m a fashion designer and at the end of the day the sizing number is based on the fit model or form you’re working from and what size they say they are; there’s no real malicious intent in sizing as far as the industry goes, if anything sizes are trending downwards

Things I would like try guys to try:
-Polymer clay figure making
-Needle felting
-Fastest one to assemble jigsaw puzzle (same puzzle, no reference box)
-learning ventriloquism
-remote control car racing w/4 rounds (with each try guy making a different course)
-picnic day activities (3 legged race, potato sack race, corn hole)
- 2 team charades (could be more if they include staff or try wives)
-learning how to program simple games (they could make available for fans to try)
-a 4 part video series with one try guy teaching the others how to do something that they have a lot a knowledge on/hobby that they're passionate about
-participating in NaNoWriMo
- making the best costume out of existing items that they own (no sewing)
-learning a new instrument
-creating their own instrument(crafts)
-creating a new scene that replaces an existing one from their favorite film/TV episode (make it harder by having a diff try guy decide which scene to replace)
Great list! I loved the beauty series too, so I'd add;
1. doing each others makeup glamour, horror & character
2. competitive nail art on their partners
3. choosing/ordering outfits for each other (like Clever Style channel does)
I want them to switch wardrobes or significant others lol
I like the ventriloquism idea, I think that could be a lot of fun and they could personalize their puppets

Way late to the party but Eugene and Zack were sewing fabrics that are so slippery you almost need a walking foot for them to feed evenly. Stretch velvet... I also needed to get Ballpoint needles not universals to stop the bunching Eugene had and also skipped stitches like what Zack was having. So absolute massive kudos to both of them for managing to sew ANYTHING let alone Eugene making those amazing pants.

@@amitypuff It's a double entendre, cargo is the type of pant he made but it could also refer to goods that you transport via boat or plane. Meaning that in this case Keiths butt is the precious cargo in precious cargo.

Eugene is the kid who didn’t study, took the exam and told everyone he for sure failed it, and then when results come out he broke the curve

I think Eugene is the kid who studies a lot but feels like he failed definitely. He’s mentioned many times how he’s a perfectionist, and that comes with a sense of anxiety where failure isn’t allowed even with new tasks. So like he’s never made pants, but he has an understanding of proportions, hand-sewing, and fashion. So he’s often in scenarios where he just approximates his other knowledge and is constantly checking and double-checking work to do his best. Ex: Zacks lil tail. If he had just done that adjustment with the pnts inside out, the fin would’ve been on the inside of the pants. When Ned sewed the pants inside out, if he had checked he wouldn’t have wasted so much time. You don’t have to know how to sew to be a hyper-vigilant anxiety machine with new tasks (source: personal experience)
