Fascinating video, Liz! I've been enjoying and learning from your videos.
I could be wrong, but it seems like the 2020's is going to be a hell of an exciting time for Medicine. Treatments like CRISPR, CAR-T, may revolutionize treatments as we know it.

Awesome video Liz. I've been looking for videos like this for long time. I mean, videos by which I could learn more and teach others what gene therapy is all about. This video makes the job perfectly. Thanks so much for making and posting it.

@Biovia Liz I understand you are focused on educating viewers about the technical details of gene editing but at this stage it would be great, if you can break down the cost ie which part of gene therapy costs how much, and which parts do you expect to reduce substantially with scale in a decade or two. At present I think more number of people go mad hearing the astronomical cost of gene therapies than those who worry about if it's natural or not. Once more people have confidence that they can afford it someday, people themselves would be interested in learning and spreading these technical details.

overcoming and curing diseases related to aging and in general all diseases, as you say to live our lives in peace, is the most important thing since we do not get anything being supposedly the dominant species on the planet if from time to time we have to be hiding and dying by the thousands for the smallest living beings in nature.

Why are all you people that are highly educated so far behind in anti aging research. I already regenerate my skeletal structure, have a massively powerful immune system, re-lengthen and cap my telomars, have totally clean circulation all through my body, and have no mental degeneration and am over 70. In fact I am currently removing more cellular scarring in order to cause a cell with the telomars protected to naturally reproduce. If I do this one last step I will have aging solved. I work only with herbs and natural medicines.

What you have done so far is really amazing but if I reduce the myostatin expression of my own body, what we'll be the consequences for my children and grand-children on the epigenetic scale?

Can you use AAV for multiple therapies? Also will you have long term effects? From what I've been researching AAV doesn't last in replicating cells. Also to get a close to a systemic therapy do you treat intravenously?

    • @alepunto7404
