Didn't fool 'em, but you DID give them a performance to remember. And honestly, in the end, making the audience feel something is the best thing a performer can do! Very well done and I wish you the best as you continue to move forward and inspire so many people in this world!
Sometimes I will watch a P&T Fool Us act and wonder to myself why it was ever booked on the show, as it had no chance of fooling them. This act drove home the point that there is more to the show than the question of whether the performer gets the trophy. You may not have fooled them, but there is no question as to why this act deserved to be on the show.
The whole idea of the show is not about fooling P&T. That's just the hook to make people watch the show. The real point of the show is creating a platform watched by a mass audience to present the best magicians perform their acts.
Most was code. "Choked up" "jumping over things" "hand dexterity" "pulling it together" (techniques) "another jazz musician named macdonald" (not a musician, a magician famous for his four aces trick). EDIT: Penn is also a father, not sure about Penns story with his dad. But as a father I can imagine Penn thinking of his kids.
One of the most beautiful performances I've ever seen. Not only did you make P&T cry; I'm also very, very emotional right now. Thank you for bringing us such a beautiful moment.
What a truly special performance. Fool Us isn't about fooling. Never had been. That is merely a context to celebrate magic and those who perform it. And this is very much a performance and performer worth celebrating. Perfect.
I've chatted with a few magicians on their TH-cam channels, and they all agree that the real prize is just being able to go on the TV show. The prize for fooling P&T is a trophy and a chance to be the opening act at their Las Vegas show, but the prize for just being on the TV show is to perform their routine and get their name out there to an audience of millions of people worldwide. Plus, the added bonus of being able to upload their professionally recorded routine to their TH-cam channels, because P&T actually have it stipulated in their contracts with Warner Bros that all magicians are able to upload their performance to their own TH-cam channels.
I think you should get an award for the most touching act in the entire show. But speaking of touching, as a total non-magician, the flair in which you handle the cards is so satisfying to watch. It's like ASMR for the eyeballs! Thank you for sharing your talent with us.
I used to think that watching P&T get fooled was the pinnacle of their show until I saw your act. Being able to move people emotionally is powerful and it brought this grown man to tears as well. I wish nothing but the best for you going forward and thank you for being both bold and vulnerable enough to put this out there for us to see--it's truly beautiful.
I've just recently lost my Grandfather and this act really brought me to tears. Absolutely beautiful tribute to your dads. Just a wonderful performance ❤️
P&Ts move to tears from the inability to work out simple tricks(guess they got to get performers so they dont have to work) from all the face palming involved in watching an episode!
What an amazing guy. Humble and gracious. Thank you for this performance. I think we all felt a little bit of the love that you were displaying to your 2 dads.
This was a beautiful moment to behold. Seeing beautiful magic with a beautiful, moving story has changed my preconceptions about what you can do with magic. ❤
I really appreciated your performance and tribute, Puck. Thank you for sharing that with us all, and I'm certain you've made your Dads very, very proud. I was moved by it, and I'm glad that you're helping "at risk" youths; you're one Hell of an inspiration, and you should be proud of yourself, too.
Wow, what a beautiful repair! Under the watch of Orion. Remember, all these tribulations are just adding to the adventure and the stories to remember 🧡
Aww Puck! That's the most beautiful respectful act I've ever seen. Your talk at the start was so moving, you have such an inspirational attitude to everything you have been through which I find more helpful than I can explain. The tricks themselves were amazing and beautifully done and the photos at the end man, wow. Both your Dad's are watching you from Heaven with smiles on their faces and pride in their hearts. 🙏❤️🕯️
I want to say Puck as someone who lost my father years ago and who had a big impact in my life and how I approach it, your tribute to your dads moved me deeply and spiritually. The magic was also beautiful and you are truly a gifted artist and human being. Thank you for sharing your gifts of magic and your sincere and heartfelt tribute to your dads.
Whatever the past was, sticks and stones and sometimes taking the wrong path, its what makes who you are. The true achievement is to take it to a good future. Beautiful show, and truly emotional. Well done.
Solid rutine, looked so good and clean all the way. I especially like the part where the aces are put in, in different ways, and vanished, boy that was a master in action.
Fantastic telling us your story in a most beautiful way. If this does not touch every living soul, I don't know what does. Gracious gentle moves, wonderful music, not a word, which is magical, and then the reveal of your dads and you. You did it indeed! And Penn choking up which I've never seen before is just wonderful.
I didn’t know of you before this video and I’m incredibly impressed by you and proud of you for all that you’ve overcome. If your dads were still alive I can’t imagine there would be a dry eye between them. Thank you for sharing your story with us.
i felt so bad when i saw the flash in the first sequence of invisible palm (my fav childhood trick) but to have the poise to go through was professional, props for not breaking while being on live tv
Moving and beautiful artistic performance Puck. Thanks for the soulful energy you poured into it. I also love that these Fool Us performance videos are given to the performers to upload; it helps find lots of wonderful magician TH-camrs like yourself.
Making Penn cry is a trick I'd never seen before. Great trick.
Didn't fool 'em, but you DID give them a performance to remember. And honestly, in the end, making the audience feel something is the best thing a performer can do!

He was on the show because of the sad story.
He was on the show because he had a life-journey around magic. This is a positive thing rather than focusing on the 'sad story' as the reason.
Actually, this was better than what I said. 😁
@@owdeezstrauz No. He was on it to try and fool Penn and Teller.
The whole idea of the show is not about fooling P&T. That's just the hook to make people watch the show. The real point of the show is creating a platform watched by a mass audience to present the best magicians perform their acts.
Was impressed to see Penn moved to tears. I know he's a real passionate guy but never seen him struggle like this.
Most was code. "Choked up" "jumping over things" "hand dexterity" "pulling it together" (techniques)
"another jazz musician named macdonald" (not a musician, a magician famous for his four aces trick).

What a moving segment. This was genuine and heartfelt. Puck is a king. RIP to his fathers. ❤️
I think you should get an award for the most touching act in the entire show. But speaking of touching, as a total non-magician, the flair in which you handle the cards is so satisfying to watch. It's like ASMR for the eyeballs! Thank you for sharing your talent with us.
Damn man. This hurt. It just reminds me that I'm not the father that I want to be. But I'm trying. This was a nice reminder of that.
At least you're trying. Many don't. The fact you're concerned means you're probably doing better than most. Keep it up mate.
Everything about this act was perfect. Amazing song choice, the pacing, every movement.
I used to think that watching P&T get fooled was the pinnacle of their show until I saw your act. Being able to move people emotionally is powerful and it brought this grown man to tears as well. Magicians everywhere: “Great Handling, classic move, beautiful handling and .... ok... ok... wait....
Someone’s cutting onions.... 😭😭😭”
Absolutely astonishingly amazingly beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Card magic, jazz, and hands doing the talk... love it. They are proud, congratulations and have a nice day.
So smooth -- just like the jazz.
That was beautiful.
I also have a dad and a step dad and man did this performance hit me.
Than you for this.
That was an incredibly smooth performance, but that dedication to his fathers at the end really sent it over the top. Thanks, Puck.
One of the most beautiful routines I've ever seen - was not expecting that bit at the end, that's for sure!
This is brilliant, SO GRACEFUL! The jazz made it even more so. Both of the Dads would be proud! I had to go back and edit this, BOTH DADS ARE PROUD!
P&Ts move to tears from the inability to work out simple tricks(guess they got to get performers so they dont have to work) from all the face palming involved in watching an episode!
I'm guessing the jazz was his biological father's work.
This is an absolutely beautiful performance. Thank you for sharing your dads with us all.
Nice Nice
Amazing how a magic trick can be so moving and beautiful.
Everything about this was beautiful.
Beautiful performance, so much class.
That hands, very very clear. Your magic touchs the heart
Bro. Tears. I was watching this while tears are rolling down my face yet smiling at the talent and artistry.
Well done. Great routine.
Gorgeous! Thank you.
Props, Puck. That was dope!
This was the most moving trick I’ve seen. And some of those moves making cards appear out of thin air after showing the hands were wild!
Such a beautiful touching& moving performance 🫶..I I appreciate Puck sharing his personal journey with us❤
Wowwwwwww!!!!! I've never seen such amazing magic before you are excellent
Super magic. Inspiring story. Love it.

Puck WOW man just great slight of hand POP's are proud of you looking down on you thanks for the magic.
As an amateur magician and foster/adoptive dad, this routine really spoke to me. Thanks for sharing a little of your story
Loved this act man, wish you good things
Thank you for sharing your story and your talent. Blessings and Respect from Canada 🙏🍁✊🏽
There are magic acts and there are magic performances. Your routine is the textbook definition of a performance.
What an excellent way to honor your dad's. Enjoyed your performance very much.
Nice Nice
Absolutely beautiful....both Puck AND Penn.
Wow, what a beautiful repair! Under the watch of Orion.
Remember, all these tribulations are just adding to the adventure and the stories to remember 🧡
That's what art is for, to express yourself in a quality way!

That was a NICE performance bro.... saw it on TV, came back here and watched it several times.
Wonderful trick, wonderful act, great job all around.
THAT WAS ONE AWESOME MEMORABLE PERFORMANCE !!!! One of the best deep thought shows on your program to the best of my knowledge.
Beautiful routine, some classic moves flawlessly executed.
I want to say Puck as someone who lost my father years ago and who had a big impact in my life and how I approach it, your tribute to your dads moved me deeply and spiritually. Totally awesome! A very unique take on good old fashioned magic! Those are the best acts!
Whatever the past was, sticks and stones and sometimes taking the wrong path, its what makes who you are. The true achievement is to take it to a good future. Beautiful show, and truly emotional. Well done.
Well done! Smooth and fluid technique.
Beautiful routine! Thanks for sharing!
Solid rutine, looked so good and clean all the way. I especially like the part where the aces are put in, in different ways, and vanished, boy that was a master in action.
Might not have Fooled em... definitely moved em... moved us all. thank you.
Rare to see real magic in a magic act.
Thank you, Puck.
Moving performance and how inspiring that you now use your story and magical talents to the benefit of at risk youth! Keep up the GREAT work, Puck!
What an amazing person! Thank you for being in our art and in our lives!
Such a beautiful trick! wonderful job!!
Awesome job!!!
Always enjoyed puck's magic. First saw him on a Cruise and he had me up on stage for one of his performances. Wont ever forget that great time.
This was such a beautiful tribute for them.
You have so much to proud of, Puck. Without a doubt, the most beautiful trick I have ever had the privilege of seeing.
Really good SOH work there, sir! Class act 100%
I didn’t know of you before this video and I’m incredibly impressed by you and proud of you for all that you’ve overcome. If your dads were still alive I can’t imagine there would be a dry eye between them. Thank you for sharing your story with us.
Brilliant sleight of hand and such an inspirational story. Nice change from the ‘comedy’ magicians!
And a lot of palming
i felt so bad when i saw the flash in the first sequence of invisible palm (my fav childhood trick) but to have the poise to go through was professional, props for not breaking while being on live tv
7:03 gotta love that look from Penn like "hope you were following him cuz I sure wasn't"
Beautiful performance and thank you for sharing.
Loved the act..
Simply awesome in every way.
Amazing and so touching!
Puck, your persona is the winner
I rarely applaud youtube videos but I couldnt even stop myself, that was awesome
Proof that magic with a message should have been the standard practice decades ago. Outstanding.
That was beautiful
Moving and beautiful artistic performance Puck. Thanks for the soulful energy you poured into it. I also love that these Fool Us performance videos are given to the performers to upload; it helps find lots of wonderful magician TH-camrs like yourself.
