I may have missed it but what did you use to keep the rear end from sagging from the weight of the camper shell. Did you do something to lift back up to stock height
Great looking truck. Moreso, this is a rock solid review because you identify everything people talk about on forums. Would you reco this over a Snugtop? Would you have considered the CX Classic for better fitment?
Love the video, question. Would you use a light bar or light pods across the back if you could do it again. After seeing this video I want to run a light across the back but I don't know what to do. I want them really bright for backing a boat down a boat ramp at 3am for duck hunting haha

OutofWORKoutdoors I actually found one on craigslist Z series and all an hour away like new 1800 could not afford it but couldn’t pass it up it is Barcelona red will need to paint it but very nice toppers.Actually mine has rubber around the side windows and is sliding with dog screen so I’m not sure what series this is.May go Semi gloss black or the desert I’m an auto painter by trade so that’s not an issue it is missing the pigtail from Topper to vehicle the male connector I guess I can try to hit up A.R.E.for that? You need to show pictures of the camper to the factory and demand a major discount or replacement. “New Correction of my first statement.” Now that I have seen this video again, dealing with the new camper shell, the factory needs to have a torque setting on the tool they are using to drive the screws with so it doesn’t torque the screw down too tight and bind the framing. The tail gate issue is a matter of adjustment, the gap is larger on the left driver side of the tailgate, loosen the clamps and shift the camper to the passenger side to even the gap and the tailgate will not rub, then tighten the clamps back down. The older camper is what I was talking about with the finish issues but, after looking at the video again and the Toyota truck again, I think what happened to the finish is someone put a acid or petroleum type chemical product on the camper shell and the Toyota, the plastic fender flares have the same clear coat pealing as the camper does, the chemical did not damage the finish that is adhered to the metal, it affected the finish on the plastic and fiberglass finish. I say this from 60 years in the car business in which we had the largest detail shop, used car lot, in the central part of our state, and owned several new and used car dealerships with and without body shops, plus my father was President of the state for the Used Car Association. This clear coat finish pealing also happens when people use a acid type product to clean aluminum and steel wheels, it will eat the clear coat off and if acid based cleaners are used on aluminum it will dull the finish and pit the aluminum ruining the rims. Salt will also have a bad effect on paint, but it would have effected the paint on the metal also. You get the same effects if you use bleach on bright finished aluminum, it will ruin the aluminum, examples are bright aluminum finished fuel tanks on eighteen wheelers, Air Stream trailers, etc.

I have a Z2 on my 24 F350. Total $5k POS. Supposed to be the top of the line. The fit and finish is crap. Big divets in the paint, the fiberglass is $hit, all wavy, cracked, pock marked, places where it wasn't painted at all, freking window screen wasn't attached in places, they over torqued the window frame and bent the moulding. I can't say enough about the lack of quality with the ARE Z2 topper. Oh, and leaks, of course it does.
Garbage company 4 year old cap discontinued they no longer supply parts leaving my cap worthless customer service said sorry about your luck and hung up on me don’t purchase ARE they will leave you helpless

It started sagging pretty bad since i tow too. I installed the firestone air bags to keep thing happy
