Just got the g45 few weeks ago, put about 500 through it so far. I will say its actually incredible firearm. Feels amazing in the grip and shoots like a dream. My wife likes it a lot also, she shot it like a champ.
So whats the difference with a 19 with a magwell vs a 45? I have a 45 and a 19. I run a threaded barrel on my 19. So when i do 45 im basically carrying a 17. Funny thing is i have a 49 😂& i dont wear that slide bc i dont like the Long dust cover
Ultimately this is a great pistol, comes out the box firing on point..... Also love the fact that it comes with 3 magazines as well, it definitely is my EDC.....!
Just shot my 9mm glock 45. Been shooting glocks since 1987. This model 45 without a doubt is the most accurate 9mm glock I have shot. Best trigger I've felt on a stock glock bar none
I just had my gun shop guy order me one, I have a 19x which is the same dimensions as the 45 but in black, getting a second gun for when I don’t want my streamlight light in the holster playing with my pecker
EDC my 45, shoots like butter and hasn’t given me any issues. love having the full length grip since i have larger hands and 17+1 is more than ideal for a self defense situation
Mine is sporting a TLR-1H and a set of trijicon HD Xr sites in orange. I carry it edc in a Trex Arms sidecar 2.0 with all internals absolutely factory stock. It is a great shooter and I prefer it over either my G19 or my G17. Thanks for a great video and thanks for sharing.

I have a G45 not MOS and there is a awesome solution for a red dot available the Leupold DeltaPoint Micro. I love it and easier to adjust to if your new to red dots.
I have both and my 45 is my main carry, got a great 508t and light set up on it and absolutely love it but for some reason I just constantly go back to my plain Jane Glock 19. Not sure why but I have a personal connection to that 19 hahaha
I am torn on this one. I have the Glock 17 and the 19. The problem is NOT going to be slide length, for concealability, it’s going to be the grip. Having that longer grip, means it’s going to print (more) in appendix carry. Having the extra 1/2” stuck down into your pants, is not the issue (IMHO). Are you carrying it appendix, and if so, what holster are you using to counter the longer handle and thus inherently more printing? Thanks
Great pistol. I have one myself. However I think the choice to put a grim reaper back plate would be a not so good idea. If you do use it in a self defense situation a prosecutor could use it as a point to prove your state of mind that you were to looking to end someone. Just a option.
I have the 45 . It does have the removable plate for a dot. Do not use it. Love this gun. I have a very good holster. Put the light on it at night or before I go to bed. This is the gun I would want on me in a self defense situation. However, I can not find a comfortable way to carry it. Outside hip seems to be the best way for me. Still gets in the way . I aint carrying gun pointed toward my willy. If I move my arms up a bit you can see the gun. Thank god I live in a state that allows for open and concealed. I want it concealed at all times. That is my biggest problem. Absolutely love the gun.
I’m have a “rounded by express” IWB holster coming in from order via GovX. It has the open optic cut for the MOS and a concealment claw with the metal monoblock double clip(s). I’m 6’2” 225 and want comfort too. So we’ll see..
Guys help. I have the 19x. Should I sell it and get this G45 MOS? I have a bunch of money so I don’t care about the saved money from having MOS vs cutting my own plates for optics on the 19x. Does the 45 shoot better than the 19x or exactly the same?
Depends on what you want. I’d keep the 19x and just as the 45. Or grad a new gen5 G19 MOS. Then you have 4 diff configurations to play with. I personally like the 45’s frame better due to not having that front lip on the mag well
Great video, quick tip if you play with your shutter and slow it down to probably 50 you will get rid of those black lines in your video, but ultimately it’s your light bulbs that cause it. Awesome stuff
@c.patricksadowski9959 glock 45 9mm is just a slim line glock and it feels really good weight wise the 17 feels blocky and heavier imo the 45 feels like something a agent would carry same with 43x
Good video. But I like the G19X better. The color alone is bad ass. I don’t care nor ever use front slide serrations. They’re not needed and I don’t want my fingers closer to the muzzle. I also hate slides cut for optics. Optics suck when wet from like rain and they add needless bulk. They’re trendy these days though, I know.
I was torn on the 19x but ultimately the 45 for me was the same gun with all of the new Gen5 goodies. But I do agree the 19x is sweet may pick one up as well.
I guess im just different than most people. Cops have to put themselves in harms way and most of the time they dont go thru a full mag. I like small light and comfortable. Capacity is dead last on my list.

Depends on the possible battle you may face… If you’re more worried about a desperate drug addict trying to mug you by himself, then maybe capacity doesn’t matter so much. But if you live in an area where you might face 3-4 armed carjackers at the same time, then capacity is king.

Per Glock, the 19x is a gen 5 .. It just doesn't have the front serrations. Plus the cool paint job will get ya some dates🤣

I use my 19x clone for cold weather carry and my subcompact for summertime.
My EDC is a Glock 45. Love it to death.
