      Personal opinion. Other than MAYBE staccatos, I wouldn’t trust a 2011 for concealed carry. Tolerances are way too tight. The smallest debris especially in the higher end ones can choke them up.

    Nice video. I wanted an Acro P2 for my Glock 45, but it was unobtainium at the time. I ended up with the MPS, and I love it. Great, clear dot, durable, and a lot bigger window. Cant really go wrong with either IMO!

    I’m a lot luckier than you when it comes to Glock stock controls. The mag releases, slide stops, and trigger (except for the G48/43x) all feel pretty good to me and my hands.
    The only internal parts I replaced on my G45 were the safety plunger in the slide and the trigger bar assembly. At 500 rounds, the gun started to develop this real annoying “double wall” feeling where it would feel like the trigger broke right before it really did. Diagnosing at home with an empty gun, I took the plunger and extractor off, reassembled, and the second wall feel went away during dry fire. Turns out, it was the trigger bar where it was pinned to the trigger messing up that was causing the issue. I now have a spare safety plunger for this gun.
    Both parts were replaced with Glock OEM parts because safeties are not to be messed around with. Gun runs great now.

    Problem is with comps it won't fix problems. Most cops struggle to shoot and the state quals are a joke. It's fine if your a higher level shooter and grip, Vision, and trigger control is good. Yes a comp can help. So many people think you can throw money at a shooting problem. Won't work. I like the gun. Sweet!!

There are still some agencies but as these older chiefs either retire or get shown why the mods are important. It's changing. Glock sells 24 rd mags for their double stacked 9mms for like 30 bucks, save some money on extensions. Why not go with the glock performance trigger? Its hard for me to justify 100 dollars on a flared magwell on a gun that already has a flared magwell built in, especially if i need to conceal it.

    Not everyone needs a mini sun on the bottom of their handgun. The TLR-7 is a perfectly capable light for 95% of users and I've used mine quite a few times. It's 100% qualified as a duty light for more people than not. Just because you're required a full size doesn't mean the smaller ones are just suddenly bad.

    • @irishdefense77
      @irishdefense77 17 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I would agree that for off duty carry the TLR7A is a great light on my 19,but on duty,it’s only 500 lumens with low candela and when I’ve needed it on a rural roadside-I found I couldn’t see the suspect and needed my Surefire handheld Stiletto Pro 2.I switched to the X300Turbo the next day.Is the TLR7A good enough for off duty?I say it is-but not for work.

But, you put the Taurus and Canik at the same reliability standards as Glock? $600 isn't paying for Glock name, it's paying for reliability, it just works. People paying $2500+ for a pistol are partially paying for a name.
