    Why don’t you just tip the wheel barrow in the bed and rake it,save a lot of hard work

    Hi Mark, Always busy with the raised bed inspector by your side 😄That compost from the pile looks like good stuff. I tried the heat mats & one of those four pronged grow light for the first time this year in the greenhouse & up to now very fast results in germination on my tomato seeds, Just hope I can keep em going til they're big enough to pot on.
    I picked the mats/grow light up last year second hand off the ebay for a bargain.
    Thanks for the video mate.

      What people seem to do is leave the lights and heat mats on after they've germinated, I used to turn the lights off and stick them in the green house in full sun with fleece covering them at night, But has you know i start mine off in zip lock bags in my little grow house inside one of the greenhouses...The only thing i worry about is the mice getting at them..😂😂Don't you just love Ebay I've got some great bargains off there over the years....

    Hi Mark & lovely Buttercup ❤ good job on shifting all the compost from your bin. It looks good, healthy stuff, too. I like the water you water the seeds, then the compost on top too. Never thought of doing that 👍 I'm going to try your method. Your snowdrops will look gorgeous when they appear & the bees will love them. Lovely video update. Thanks for sharing and take care 😊

    Thanks again It was great to see how you get your seeds growing, I might try that this season. I have been just watering We have had very high temps 35-37 It is 27C at the moment with 37C later and I hope some rain with the change later Pam in Melbourne Australia.

      Good evening Pam if your going to try the bags, I would keep them out of direct sunlight and add more water in the bottom of the bag other wise they will cook😂😂 The Temp here today was 17C and at the moment 13C You clearly don't need me to say keep warm😂😂But you can keep safe Regards Mark

      Good afternoon Joy its a good way around filling you greenhouses up with lots of trays, The only problem is when you start to pot them on, But I do 12 for myself and give the rest away, If i was to pot them all up I would need 10 greenhouses to put them all in...😂😂

      It does cut down on space at the start of the growing season But you quickly get bogged down when you start potting them on...😂😂 With Regards Mark

    Looking forward to seeing build the new compost bins. Too wet & cold to do owt here. Great coins again, do find some bargains.
    I’ve seen 1oz pure copper coins £10 each. What do you think ?

    • @AllotmentDiggers
      @AllotmentDiggers  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Good evening Sean we've cleared the space now for the compost bin and I have to say its been a nightmare doing at, The copper coins your talking about will never make you money I would buy a kilo of old copper penny's, They would cost you around the same money and you could get lucky and find a key date or a verity worth thousands...And copper is selling for around £6.50 a kilo so you wouldn't be losing any money because you can still sell the coins at 50p each....And you would get more than a hundred coins in a kilo... Stay safe Mate Regards Mark
