Is that butcher/parchment paper on top or a Teflon sheet?
How are you lining it up so perfectly without seeing the space around each letter. Mayve fir the pocket logo you allowed a bleed but the numbers are perfect and I've use everything to try and help accuracy.
When doing this process, you want to give yourself a slight bleed with your sublimation print. Since the sublimation paper is opaque, you want to cut the edges to try and line it up best with the Glitter HTV transfer.
how does this differ from normal transfers as apposed to sublimation?
Can I sublimate over standard siser white heat transfer vinyl?
No. At this point, Glitter is the only HTV that can be sublimated on.

What kind of pressure for the whole procedure
When will Siser have white glitter vinyl available again? I have not been able to find it anywhere for weeks.
C Gilbert We hope to have it available shortly. We didn't expect that sublimation would be as big as it is. Our original sublimated glitter video is now our most watched video!
I use the tact spray. Alot faster. Just a thought.

does this not damage the transfer on the other side?
So is that a 100 percent black polyester tee shirt. I did not know you can sublimate onto dark fabrics
This is 100% cotton, but you are actually sublimating on the White Glitter HTV and its applied onto any kind of fabric/color.

Can I use cricut infusion on the vinyl??
You can try, but the results may vary!
Can we only sublimate? What if we layer another heat transfer vinyl on the glitter vinyl?
You do NOT want to layer anything on top of Glitter.
This video is just to show you the potential of what you can do with sublimation on the Glitter HTV.
Do you find that the extended press time and higher temp scorched any of the garments you were pressing on? Are there specific fabric types you wouldn't suggest using this with? Thanks!
+Ashley Homan We didn't notice any scorching... but every garment and garment manufacturer is different. We always recommend testing first. Fragile fabrics like burn-out T's would cause an issue with scorching. For this, you might want to sublimate the glitter on a non-stick cover sheet first, peel it off, and then apply to the garment at a lower temperature.
Wouldn’t the adhesive be melted onto the Teflon sheet after sublimation? I don’t understand how you would still have adhesive on the back on the glitter after sublimation.
Can this technique work on any dark shirt without using the glitter?
Robert, unfortunately sublimation requires a white or light polyester shirt.

Did you use the Moda Glitter 2 in white colour? Can this be achieved with that vinyl?
This is standard Siser Glitter. VideoFlex Moda is only available in gold and silver and neither can be sublimated on.

Can you do that on chiffon or smth? I know Eduardo Castro used sublimation on elsa`s cape... I wanna make it :P
+Cecilie .Hansen Chiffon is one of those very delicate fabrics that will discolor if heated too much. You may have to sublimate the glitter off the garment (like on a non-stick cover sheet), peel it off the cover sheet and then apply it to the garment starting with a low temperature and working your way up until it adheres without burning. TEST a small section first!

Can I sublimate over siser brick or the extra heat htv?
Adri, those materials won't work with sublimation... especially brick. the high temperature and pressure for upwards of 60 seconds will probably cause the brick to flatten out somewhat..

Sorry! The wording threw me off... Glitter, ReflectAll and a few of the holographic materials can be sublimated on... When you sublimate on ReflectAll, the light bouncing back is still only white... the sublimation doesn't color the glass crystals, only the backing. It would be cool if the reflected light was colored though.

The vinyl is Siser Glitter.
Will chromocotton ink work with this metod.
redstar z I believe the ChromoCotton Ink will work with the glitter. I recommend getting a sample of the glitter and testing a small piece. Post up your results!

thomasopulos The sublimation will remain vivid for more than 50 washes.
So it's basically sublimation to the "glitter" material not the actual shirt material. DTF would be a far easier option 👍...... And just realised how old this video is 😂😂
