Robert Smith sounds the same now as he did back in 1981. Incredible how his voice has not changed at all. His appearance may have changed, but his voice still sounds as good as it did when The Cure first started out.
As a metalhead, going to see The Cure, since this was my wife's favorites back in the day, in 2016 I thought I would suffer a big bore, but I was so pleasantly surprised...What a solid show, I absolutely loved it and bought some albums..I see it :)

The Cure can do heavier than a lot of Heavy Metal. Not this song but something like The Kiss or Primary (two bass no lead).

Danced to this song on MDMA at Amnesia open air Club (b4 they had to put a roof on) in Ibiza circa 1989..unforgettable experience.
