ESP Guitars: Ken Susi Plays Mille Petrozza (Kreator)

- We had a challenge for Ken Susi, guitarist and clean vocalist of Boston-based metalcore band Unearth. Bringing him into ESP headquarters, we tasked Ken with emulating the tones and playing styles of a number of other ESP signature artists who, like Ken, use Fishman Fluence pickups in their guitars. The results are outstanding! In this episode of our "Style Series", Ken recreates the tones of guitarist Mille Petrozza of Kreator, using his LTD Signature Series MK-600 to perform a riff from the band's song "Violent Revolution".

Awesome guitar but I wish you guy would bring back the NV model as a LTD version.
Those pickups arr pretty great and ESP guitars what can you say, I have been playing them since 84.
Got to meet Ken Susi (and Tosin Abasi) at a Fishman clinic at Ted Brown Music in Tacoma, Washington last year. Nice guy, very talented. I was a bit miffed that he didn't bring HIS signature guitar to demo. That being said it was an awesome event with lots of good sounds. A member of the audience actually brought a Tosin Abasi signature guitar from Ibanez (I think?) equipped my DiMarzzio pick-ups. Tosin was nice enough to A B them against his (than current) signature with the Fishman pick-ups. The difference was amazing especially in the low end (both guitars used were 8-string). Not that the DiMarzzio pick-ups sounded bad but the Fishmans were just better in every way.
My ESP custom is coming equipped with Fishman Modern Humbuckers (7-String) in May. Can't wait to play it!

@Gareth What?... E-II is the old ESP Standard line, rebranded & still made in Japan. @Reuben Ginsburg is saying he bought the E-II version of the signature.

Mille , has been a Rythm guitarrist and Lead Guitarrist in all his recordings since his first demos with Metal Militia until pleasure to kill ...and someone so Overratted like James Hetfield hast been .today he show how good he is ...Hetfield in the 80s from the beginnings even until one played live .is a power chord guitarist . Mustaine was the real monster guitar player .
I like passive more. It's a warmer sound to me

Fishman seem to be over hyped. They sound too damn stale... Too flat to me. I still prefer passives or the Het Set.

1600€ for an LTD guitar that does not even have locking tuners...
It has a locking nut so there isnt really a need for it
but it makes string changing alot faster and easier. if I pay that much for an LTD this should be standard
