I have done bcom from Delhi University and now I want to be a CPA in Canada for which I have search a program named post bachelor combined certificate in accounting( cpa bridging course) university of Lethbridge. I also don't have work experience in my home Country. I just wanted to ask if certification courses are valuable or acceptable by accounting firms or companies in Canada? Can i land an accountant job after this 2 year program as it is certification bridging course( which will open my way for cpa pep)? I'm little confused. Can you please help me as soon as possible? I am coming to canada AFTER 12TH which COURSE i should take in canada for making my cpa process FASTER may be ( I can’t afford a degree yet as a international student) completing my graduation of 4 years after PR which will also take 4-5 years (including my 2 years of course i will take now) than doing cpa for other some years seems too long. Please guide me what should i do? what are the best options ? Do i have the correct information about cpa process?
I am SORRY for this long and complicated message, i am just too confused and stressed about it. Hoping for a detailed reply whenever you can 🙏

    Hy guys!
I did the same as i have bcom from india and here i m on study permit doing the prep courses. My question is that it is requirement by CPABC that we are required to have a valid study permit or be a citizen here or a PR for the admission. So, did you do the PEP on your work permit while gaining the practical experience?

Hey Guys , Wonderful and very informative video !!
    Just a doubt though
Let’s say a person who is already an US CPA, then there’s an MoU between US CPA and CPA Canada whereby they are exempt in appearing any exams for CPA Canada. Am I right ?
If so, still they need to have experience of 30 months before applying for CPA Canada.
Now my ques is - Whether this 30 months experience needs to be in same company for continuous ? Or it can be divided into 2 or 3 companies for collective experience of 30 months ?
Also, the 30 months of experience needs to be counted post CA or Post US CPA ?

Hi 30 months experience is post CA but if you have less than that experience you have to file a detail report then they will exempt it considering your experience. As I did the same way and got approved just sharing my experience.
Also US Cpa should be given while being in India and not while residing in Canada as that’s what provision says !

Hello Keerat is it mandatory to have 30 months practical experience for seating in CPA exams or first exam can be given and then one can go for practical training

Is 1 year PG diploma in canada not enough for a B.com student to start for CPA Canada?
