I am a woman and was an uber driver from 2017-2019 in Los Angeles. Women: open the door and before getting in, ask the driver what your name is and have confirm that, as well as your destination. Any legit driver will say that information with no problem. I am sad for this woman. Stay safe out there, ladies.

In SF Bay Area Uber changed several years ago now that now shows the License Plate Make of Car and Name of the Driver so that you can make sure you have the right driver and car. Always share your trip info from the app with someone so they know where you are and where you should be going. And be prepared to come to you if something is not going as planned. Male or female you must be aware of your surroundings at all times. You go out as a group leave as a group.

I missed opening statements, but caught the first witness. Simply enthralling. I can't for the life of me imagine how the defense could possibly have anything to say. And the relatives of Rowland insisting his innocence? Totally bizarre to say the least.
