They are attracted to negativity, perhaps they are made of pure negative emotion. With all the negativity throughout remnant in particular the continent of Solitas, Salem had a ton of raw negative power to craft the whale. It actually could be older and crafted from the negativity of the Great War that Jaune’s ancestor fought in.

Im guessing Salam is seriously overpowered, I'm actually looking forward to seeing what she can do next volume. Is she powerful enough to single handedly flatten Altas and make it submit, what kind of power level are we looking at with Salem????. I can't remember if they actually said Grimm FEED off of negativity or not, but your comment raised the question: "Do Grimm grow from negativity? Is that why they're so attracted to it and are more controlled as older and grown versions?" If they're more controlled about the desire as older Grimm, that might be because they're more satisfied with how they are. Which would explain the younger ones. The ones who think they don't have enough power so they always go for the kill. But ya, if it was a Grimm being spoonfed Salems negativity, that would give it a massive boost. I mean, it's crazy huge, and even has wings, so I dunno if it's exactly a valid theory or not.
@@depressedbreakfast2614 in that case I misunderstood you、you however I don't really think Salem needed an amplifier for that thin thou maybe it left her dry on magic for a while as Allen has at least 5times more magical energy than a maiden plus the pool of darkness which might actually be powered by the world's negativity now that I think about it so maybe I was off in saying that Salem didn't use the negativity of the great war but if she did then only indirectly through the pool.
I don't think it's a pool of creation, it's called the "fountain of life" - lost fable, so it's a pool of life which gave her immortality but it doesn't create anything.
Based on the fact that we can see the light in the center of the Whale Grimm, and that its flying (the wings don't seem like enough), I'm thinking its like a hot air balloon. Very inflatable, and relying on whatever is at its center to keep it buoyant. I'm hoping Qrow can fly up there and just "pop goes the weasel" it.
While the pool idea is interesting I get the sense that we might be reading too much into that particular part of the lost fable. Whatever the case is I suspect that Ozpin should have at least some idea how that Grimm came to be. Oz has been working against Salem for a number of lifetimes now and I think he would have been aware of Salem raising such as massive beast. Such a creature would be difficult to hide from anyone, smaller Grimm, even Kevin, would be much harder to keep track of than one the size of a city. I hope that Oz will have some insight that may reveal some weakness related to how the whale was created. My thought is that Salem may have added some dust to the her magical process to at least help this thing fly and create that large glow in it's head. It could make for an explosive episode or two.
I’m pretty sure it’s just looks that way because that’s where the grim come from I mean come on that’s clearly where Salem’s castle is As to why it looks like a dragon maybe it’s because when the god of darkness transforms into a dragon that’s how he looks (Like a traditional dragon that you see in like fairytales) Now you’re probably thinking if that’s the case why isn’t there an island that looks like the god of light when he transforms into a dragon, There is it’s anima
Omg I think you're right! As large as that whale is and its fin looks like some of the landscape of the dragon continent too. And Salem and the other Grimm were tiny specks riding on top and flying near it. Makes sense to me
I believe the dragon island is where both the god pools and Salem’s castle is located. The island is uninhabited by humanity, shaped like a dragon which both god could transform into, and is detached from the rest of the world.
to add onto the "dragon shaped continent" part, in one of the World of remnant videos, it showed images of villages popping up all over outside the kingdoms while saying they usually didn't last long. each kingdom's territory had the symbols pop up in their respective colours, but for a very brief moment there was a village shown on that continent in a 5th colour. Red. perhaps something of salem's? idk. but also i believe that is the place where salem is and the pool/god of darkness who takes that form of dragon are located. The god of light takes the form of an eastern wyrm-type dragon, and due to the vision from djinn, if you look very closely at when the god of darkness launches off remnant towards the moon, he departs from the pool of light... which happens to be on the eastern continent of anima. the same continent that has a somewhat wyrm-like draconic appearance to it as well. coincidence? I think not! :)
It would be so cool if part of Salem's reason for wanting Ruby captured alive is so she can throw her in the pool of creation or at least infect her with it so that she becomes immortal as well. It wouldn't surprise me if she plans to throw Ruby into the pools of blackness as well. What better way to win against the Smaller Soul, Ozpin's supposed greatest weapon, than to corrupt it and attempt to bring it to her side? And what better way for Salem to corrupt that soul than to bestow it with the same curse that was bestowed upon her? We've already seen how Ruby's powers can be corrupted when they flickered over the memory of Summer when Salem was taunting her and the memory went from being the thing that triggered Ruby's desire to protect life to being something darker and scarier. No matter what happens with the whale, I'm betting that it's used as a location more than an enemy due to its size. Cinder and Neo will probably make their way to it do deliver the relic to Salem. Emerald, Mercury, and Hazel are probably on it too. I bet the heroes board it and a lot of fights take place. I bet it's where Oscar confronts Salem for the first time.
Given the history about this world that we do know, its maybe fair to theorize that the planet itself is a giant grim? Kind of like that whole Unicron thing from Transformers. I also do not see any way for silver eyes to kill that whale. The scale is just too different. HOWEVER.... I could change my opinion on that if Ruby became a maiden. I really want to start making theories of my own, but I'll just let you do that and comment as we go. lol
If Ruby does become the summer maiden, I think it would be safe to say that the secret of summer rose wouldn't be a secret anymore... full circle, with cinder still wanting revenge on Ruby and the gates of possibility opening up with that moment Salem and Ruby having that talk about her mom's last moments, I can understand where you're coming from and where you're going 100% 👀
I think we saw a glimpse of the beginning of the creation of the whale at the end of either Volume 4 or 5, when she is shown standing outside creating something, with Hazel and Mercury looking down in awe/horror. Hazel then turns to Mercury and says, "There's an old saying: If you want something done right, do it yourself". I believe that scene is evidence towards the argument that the whale was a creation of Salem's, and not something that has existed for eons.
Something that I wish happens in V8 or beyond, if it hasn't already lore-wise, is Ozcar using the Fountain of Life to either gain a boost in his "finite and dwindling" pool of magic or regain the I guess purity/holiness of his soul as Ozma The Great and Infallible, similarily to how the Pools of Darkness gave Salem the desire for destruction
when I first saw that black whale, seeing the purple crystals on both it's belly and back, I can't help but think that Salem might have brought her castle with her on her journey to Atlas.
Paul Jordan it very well could be! However I also believe that she could’ve just created the Grimm to be this way. As like a base or of sorts. She has her main castle, Evernight, and this one, on top of the whale.
Maybe Salem's castle was built on that Grimm. She may have found it or raised it millennia ago and then used her magic to form her castle on it. In some shot of the castle, we can easily see it is surrounded by purple rocks that must be Gravity Dust, and it already implied that the baddies'lair might be airborne. And we can see exactly the same kind of rocks on the whale's back. It wouldn't surprised me if it was to be related. Moreover, we have already spotted the presence of black pools who give birth to Grimms on Salem's domain, just like the ones that dropped from the Wyvern, it might be a centuries/millennia old Grimms thing.
My alternative theory is that the Land of Darkness rests on the back of that Grimm Whale, or that it simply IS the Grimm Whale. Kind of like a miniature World Turtle. As you can see the large crystals, or land on its back. So Ironwood had a great idea to rise into the sky, but it turns out Salem had beat him to it. So it seems that she’s personally coming to rub it in Ironwood’s face before annihilating him. That also explains why Ozpin and Qrow could never locate the Land of Darkness. Either because it was already hovering up above so that no one could reach, or that it was mobile in general. So it was never in one place at a given time. As you can see the dark aura and red clouds from the Land of Darkness is seen all around the Grimm Whale. Plus it’s probably like the Grimm Wyvern. It’ll most likely ooze and drip lesser Grimm off of it. Although it seems that the purpose of the Grimm Whale is to make Atlas plummet, and kill everyone below.
I disagree, Salems been alive for a millenia, she has Harnessed her magic to the point that she can create whatever she wants. The final Grimm she created at the end of volume 6 was the Grimm whale, I got the impression straight away that it was going to be something big watching that scene
Perhaps over the years Salem has found a way to harness the power of The God of Light (Silver Eyes) to enhance her powers of Grimm manipulation and magic in general (possibly involving Summer Rose). That might explain why she wanted Cinder to bring Ruby to her instead of outright killing her and possibly why her goal has shifted from killing silver eyed warriors to wanting to capture them. (this is speculation based around the assumtion that Tock was sent to kill Maria by Salem before she died).
Dear Phoenix/Night what do you think will happen if a silver eyed warrior fell in the pool of destruction will the warrior die or do you think the silver eyes power will some what protect the warrior and in up turning into that Salem is now.
I assumed that Salem merged thousands of Grimms together into a single Grimm. As for why the pools are lower, I assumed that with each Grimm "born" the pool lowers a bit and when a Grimm dies it raises a bit. The Grimm do disappear when killed and the pool are so low because so many Grimms are out in the world.
I don't think just anyone could gain immortality from the God of Light's pool, at least not without his personal imput.. I also think the whale is effectively a waterballon full of the Grimm Pool, though perhaps not actually sloshing around full of the actual liquid Liquid Annihilation
Maybe jaune could boost Ruby's silver eyes and damage the whale. But even then I doubt she could full on kill it. Maybe she used dust to help build the whale. She could have used a relic we know that they are sealed away not but maybe she had one in the past.
Hey man, love your videos dude, you are making a very nice community here! The best upgrade I could see you do to make me enjoy the talks 3 times as much would be a mic to put on your shirt. would make it even greater to listen to! Keep up the good work man!
I think the Whale was a Grimm created by the God of Darkness. I say this because the Whale fits more alongside creatures such as the Beowulf and Ursa as shadow versions of regular animals, lacking any special abilities. The reason why it can fly in the air is probably due to its density made by its massive size (Think a Zeplin... ok maybe not the best comparison considering how people think the Whale might crash into Atlas). The Whale was then modified by Salem, like the Beringals and had the pool of creation put inside it. Aside from making it more powerful it also acts as a giant middle finger too the gods for Salem. The pool of Darkness (The original Whale) and the pool of Creation, combined too form a monstrosity. Just. Like. Salem
Nah. It seems if Grimm live long enough they swell up. The Grimm Dragon was large enough to “drip” smaller Grimm off of it. So I imagine that this Gigantamax Wailord Grimm is a colossal version of that. The Grimm Whale is probably the oldest, most powerful Grimm there is. Seeing as there is land on it. I bet someone like Ozpin knows about that Grimm Whale since he’s the only one as old as Salem. Salem’s weakness is fairly simple actually. When you think about gods, and how their powers work... Gods always work on a “higher” plane. Typically the plane of thought, etc. Usually their power is based around morality, and sheer willpower. As such the Light God didn’t want to revive Oz not because it was outside of his power, but because of the moral conflict caused by doing it. Salem is essentially essentially an absolute truth as she is all that remains of the old world. She’s incredibly cocky, as heard with her speech. Combined with her grandiose appearance. She SEEMS unstoppable; However, if she was truly unstoppable like everyone says then why act like as this boogeyman? Why hasn’t she won already? It’s because she can’t fight directly, or better yet she shouldn’t. Here’s why: Salem has a clause on her immortality where if she ever values life the immortality forced onto her is nullified. Well... If you want to FORCE anyone to value life in anyway well... You make them fear for their own life! The only ones capable of doing that would be the Silver Eyed peoples. That light that shoots from their eyes is the God of Light’s power. That is about the only thing that can make Salem become afraid enough to trigger the clause for a moment so that a killing blow could be made. Better yet, turn her to stone altogether like all any other Grimm. It’s because down Salem still fears the Gods, and anything having to do with them. Knowing that there’s people still out their harboring such power is enough to make her plot schemes in the middle of nowhere all day. Use dark magic to cast projections of herself instead of just showing up. When she finally does show herself she arrives with an armada. Riding on a Gigantamax Wailord so that no one can possibly reach, or oppose her. It’s because there’s always a chance that amongst all those humans there’s some silver eyes that, after seeing all the destruction and death, triggers them in an attempt to preserve existence. So again she stays FAR away, out of complete reach from anyone!
Meeeeh... My bet is still that the poop of creation was the pool at the bottom of the haven vault. Also... "You're huge... THAT MEANS YOU HAVE HUGE GUTS... RIP AND TEAR YOUR GUTS!!!"
Coming back to this theory after a year, it's kind of feeling even more possible - maybe power from the fountain of life was what gave this whale the ability to create more grimm, either that or it just has a bunch of the pools stored up in its mouth and that's why the pools are drying up, but that seems like a bad idea tactically
Idk. When I first saw it, I thought "Deep sea grimm that has been dragged to the surface and given wings." We've seen that same glow with other grimm, namely seer. I thought it was just a design choice, but who knows. It could be the pool of creation. That said, I'm not entirely sure the god of light would just leave the pool empowered when he left. He knew humanity would return, and with that it seems unlike him to just leave it there, where any random human could potentially get access to immortality.
We know Jaunes semblance now is amplification. Can it only amplify semblance and aura or can it amplify anything? I ask because if silver eyes is needed on this huge Grimm, Ruby wont be able to do that much on her own without like killing herself in the process, would Jaune be able to amplify Ruby's silver eyed powers? Would this make it powerful enough to destroy the grimm whale?
9:37 base of the god of darkness, where the witch is located, if you look to the right of the map you will find the dragon of light base of the god of light.
Idk about the grim but I had a small idea that pool of creation was in vacuo. And mostly used by the people of vacuo and that why there lived in peace for so long.
Personally, i think this whale has been around since before the gods left, salem, seeing the G.O.D left his pet near the pool of destruction was all like, eh, guess hes due for a walk and took him out to destroy atlas.....which is terrifying bc it makes u wonder how many more grimm have been around since the gods and how big have they grown
Here is a thought, maybe Salem already has the relic of destruction and is using it to augment the Grimm since they are birthed from destruction. It seems like a natural synergy. Some evidence is just how little Vaccuo and shade academy have been in the story, the summer maiden I don't think has been mentioned at all, and it would give an interesting backstory to those who have betrayed Oz before in the story.
Maybe the Dragon looking Continent is the Gods themselves because since they were able to turn to Dragons it can be a hint about them and why it seems to be so isolated.
Before anyone hears him and assumes (wrongly) that the Whale Grimm is just for show, let me remind you what people keep saying over and over in the series. Negative emotions like fear will bring the Grimm, feed them, strengthen them. What the HELL could possibly inspire more negative emotions that SALEM HERSELF riding on top of that fucking thing? Most people would probably start to lose their minds completely just by seeing a monumental city-sized soulless whale that can FLY. Every single person in Mantle and Atlas will serve as a spotlight to Grimm from all over the world. Assuming that Salem hasn't brought literally every Grimm with her already. The negative emotions will make her army virtually unstoppable.
I think it would be hard for silver eyes to affect the whale - it would be hard to get into a position where ruby could see it all at once, and the light that comes from her eyes might still be affected by the inverse square law - so even if she was far away enough, it might have less power than at a closer range.
On your comment about bigger Grimm. With the God of Darkness having explicitly gone into space, I think it's likely there are bigger Grimm, perhaps moon sized or even planetarily large.
Summer Rose will appear. Part of her solo mission might have been to locate the pool of creation to give herself immortality. She will appear alongside Ruby and their Silver Eye powers will combine to stop the whale.
If you notice, the yellow inside the whale Grimm looks like the top of the tree in the center of the pool of creation. I think she chopped of the top of that tree and used it to create the massive Grimm
I always thought that Ozpin has been dropping the ball a lot since learning that Salem couldn't be killed. As he should be aware that there are magical artifacts are around, but no one other than Salem and her followers are all looking for them. She is taking full advantage of the things she knows of, while Ozma is playing eternal defense.
I think the pool of creation was able to give some energy to Richard when Salem was making him, the size was a result of Richard being dormant overtime but now that he is awake and enhanced by the pool the whale just grew larger
I brought this up in another video, but what about the crystals on it? Do u think it could be gravity dust to keep it afloat and maybe the augmentation of dust is what allows it to be that big?
look, the writers can decide to do whatever they want whether you like it or not. If they want to bring her back, they will. Don’t go acting like you KNOW, because you don’t.
@@namikosai9466 they can do whatever they want but she ded forever. u just in denial. one does not come back to life from disintegration in this type of anime
a thought. if salem has access to something that grants immortality...I could see her using it on the likes of Summer Rose. keeping them in her dungeons for her own amusement. and her interest in keeping ruby alive might have something to do with wanting to see the girls face when she comes face to face with her mother. likely corrupted to near Tyrian's level.
Putting it out there since I haven't seen anyone say it yet. At around 9:30 you mention your concerns about the "dragon continent" waking up. Go take another look at the map. *All* of the continents are dragons. That one just so happens to be very noticeable.
Ruby might have some trouble using her silver eyes on this because we've seen the Levithan breaking through the silver eyes' magic and plus if it is the pool of creation then the whale would be immune to silver eyes because silver is the light god's color eyes.
I think you may be onto something. The jellyfish thing was probably a test of using the pool of creation on a much smaller scale Just had a thought - Salem creating superpowered Grimm is reminiscent of the Nomus from My Hero Academia
I never really considered the massive size of the whale before watching this video. Now looking at it with the dust crystals on its head, what if the whale is the land itself, or at least part of it, that Salem and her followers resides on? And the dragon continents... what if they are the gods themselves, since their second form is a dragon. And once the relics are brought together, they will wake up.
Well certainly an idea. I'm sure she pool will return and come into play but I'm not sure it is here. The nekulevee was in fact made by Salem herself and Watts ezpessed interest in the Seer. Further adding to the idea she surely made them. My opinion otherwise stems from two sources for that creature. One is obviously magic. Salem like took regular dips in the "Oozy Jacuzzi" to further her powers in controlling Grimm and forming the veins on her body. Her magic is likely inherently tied to the Grimm in general and may even be why maidens can exhibit some control over Grimm. Though I always found that anklet of black gems on Cinder's as suspect since Salem was missing some in her hair. But I guess that was a forgotten idea maybe. But to the sheer size and might of the Grimm. You have in the past expressed the idea of Grimm and dust. Salem has extensive knowledge of dust and aura. She clearly spent her time studying it. You can clearly see gravity dust attached to the top and bottom of the whale. Likely how it floats. So that swirling mass within it may also be dust. Aura may not work with Grimm but dust doesn't seem to make a difference. It could very well be all 3.
I really don’t think the dragon shaped continent can “wake up” because it wasn’t originally designed to look like a dragon. The way Monty Oum made the map was by squirting ketchup onto a napkin, folding it in a few different angles and showing everyone that it’s the map.
I think this whale is just a already huge old grimm who manage to be because aquatic grimm have more chance of living long and more space to grow that Salem took and dope out with wings and more size, I even think she start preparing it especially for Atlas when Oz raise it from the ground.
9:40 Basically you mean the Gihma Vlitra of Remnant which is basically powerful spirit that can destroy planets. asuraswrath.fandom.com/wiki/Gohma_Vlitra Now that I think the Gohma and Grimm are similar in purpose and design aspect as both being a spirit being, the the former being the planet's wrath manifested. In essence, if that Dragon Continent woke up, all of Remnant is doomed and in no way are they in shape and form to even think about fighting it.
oh dude, if thats the actual pool of life she's got there, then thats how penny is gonna be a real girl. Deadass gotta be. She can die, weiss gets the fall maiden powers, penny gtes brought back as a real girl, and we can finally start collecting the maidens into team ruby as it's been so transparently coded from day 1.
The theoretical dragon continent grim might actually be the true body of the God of darkness and the form we have seen so far is just an avatar so that he could interact with the humans ( I think that the God of light did this as well) ( their avatars are massively weaker than their true selfs kinda like how unicron and primus from transformers work but smaller scale)
You know this thing about Salem using the Pool of Creation to amplify the growth of the whale Grimm makes sense . Guess there are limits even for an immortal magic wielding being such as her as what she can make on her own. My only question is wouldn't the pool of creation end up being corrupted over time as Salem uses it to grow her monsters?
So my only issue with this theory is that would the pool of creation make the whale immortal or near enough to be immortal if so i feel this would be just a never ending overpowered opponent to face that just doesn't die like that new terminator in the new film. Personally i think the glow is a super weapon like the Death Star super laser, now that would be a good threat to the hero's and Atlas yet not be to overpowered.
I was always curious how atlas started "floating" and how it has earth under it. Is there a crater from when it lifted? Is it shown/stated in the series? I must have missed it. Can anyone out there let me know an episode if I did miss it? Thanks
not sure about the crater, we saw Oscar fall and land in what appears to be a production plant. perhaps part of the city of mantle, or perhaps some kind of mass mine built in a crate. not sure. but as for how atlas started floating, they very briefly glossed over it but we do know that it is being held aloft by the power of the staff of creation.
I just imagine Salem at the crib with a sketchbook, some colored pencils and markers, laying on the floor doodling up designs😂😂😂 Salem: Wats!!! I need more red and black crayons!!!! Run to the store and get me some!!!
Magic: The Gathering did a kinda similar thing to your theory of the dragon continent, except on a smaller scale and I always thought it was kinda hilarious. The city/island of Arixmethes one day just got up and swam to the aid of a God, because OOPS it wasn't an island but a kraken the entire damn time!
Or I have an I dea that what if that dragon shaped content is actually the God of darkness himself just in a very deep sleep. I think this because if you think about it and look at that content more closely it has the same features as the God of darkness did when he went into his dragon form. Eventhough it's on its hind legs there is still a possibility that is him.
If the silver eyes were only able to contain Kevin indefinitely and the leviathan for a small amount of time, i doubt at Rubys stage of experience with them that she can contain let alone kill Richard the whale.
I hope they decide to defeat it the same way as people defeated the giant mountain sized worm in gears of war 2, from the inside by cutting apart its heart. Or whatever the grim has for vital organs/glowing orb.
*Salem after tossing herself into the pool of destruction:* "Hey you jackass gods, you ever heard the phrase Don't Add, Just Subtract?"
I never heard of it

Doubt salem would make ruby immortal and give her powers
@@donone352 Salem clearly wants Ruby alive, though. Maybe she wants to kill Ruby herself but I don't think that's it.

I really want to start making theories of my own, but I'll just let you do that and comment as we go. lol
That's some Darkest Dungeon stuff right there.
The world itself is an ancient, sleeping eldritch abomination that's slowly waking up over millenia.
Ruby might become a summer maiden later on
BlackHeart
We don’t know what would happen if a Silver Eye Warrior is also one of the four Maiden.
@@Zack_Zander I know we don't. And that is why I'm considering the possibility. Who knows.
This is very plausible. Well done.
I just love how all these Grimm have in universe names... and then there's just Kevin.
I'm also calling the whale grimm Willy.
the other continent also looks like it has a Chinese dragon, aka the god of light sitting on it.
Dragon Island?! A sleeping giant Grimm. That would be horrifying for my OC to witness with his home being on that island.
when I first saw that black whale, seeing the purple crystals on both it's belly and back, I can't help but think that Salem might have brought her castle with her on her journey to Atlas.
Paul Jordan finally someone says it!
@@Neo-op3iz so you believe that salem's castle is on the back of that gigantic whale?
Paul Jordan it very well could be! However I also believe that she could’ve just created the Grimm to be this way. As like a base or of sorts. She has her main castle, Evernight, and this one, on top of the whale.
@@Neo-op3iz so that would mean Emerald, Mercury and Hazel are with her as well.
Your the good guy at this point seriously. End the show please my dark mistress. Katsu
@@charlottewalnut3118 I would love to see a Salem victory in the end, unfortunately I don't think the writers are creative enough for that😀.
Dear Phoenix/Night what do you think will happen if a silver eyed warrior fell in the pool of destruction will the warrior die or do you think the silver eyes power will some what protect the warrior and in up turning into that Salem is now.
it would kill them unless they were immortal like Salem
Protect Them
I assumed that Salem merged thousands of Grimms together into a single Grimm.
9:55 I had this theory that that's where Salem's castle/stronghold is.
I thought I was the only one who thought that
Hey man, love your videos dude, you are making a very nice community here!
Just. Like. Salem
She had a really good Enchanted Fishing Rod
Perhaps this whale is her home fortress and up until now, it's been asleep
Meeeeh... My bet is still that the poop of creation was the pool at the bottom of the haven vault.
Also... "You're huge... THAT MEANS YOU HAVE HUGE GUTS... RIP AND TEAR YOUR GUTS!!!"
Pfft. . . Best typo ever.
"Poop of creation" XD
I wonder how Salem will react to Schnne's summoning Grimm.
Not much really
@@goddesssalem4842 Schnee's semblance was basically mirror imagine and light manipulation? Cause it created clone of real grimm.
That's a good point.
9:37 base of the god of darkness, where the witch is located, if you look to the right of the map you will find the dragon of light base of the god of light.
the Dreadnaught whale= Moby also i think that this is the limit a Grimm can get
The fountain of like I thought would’ve been destroyed when the moon fragments crash down like we seen in the Salem backstory
its possible that salem used magic to transport a random whale to death land and dunked it into a pool and turned it into a grimm.
I think the Whale is mostly hollow. More of a transport ship then an enemy.
If they have pyrrha aura and something that be longs to her would they have a way to bring her back with part of the pool of creation
Pyrrha dead forever. Accept it
look, the writers can decide to do whatever they want whether you like it or not. If they want to bring her back, they will. Don’t go acting like you KNOW, because you don’t.
@@namikosai9466 they can do whatever they want but she ded forever. u just in denial. one does not come back to life from disintegration in this type of anime
I only have one thing to say. Salem.
@@namikosai9466 Salems entire backstory revolves around the fact that she couldnt manipulate life and death.
a thought. if salem has access to something that grants immortality...I could see her using it on the likes of Summer Rose. keeping them in her dungeons for her own amusement. and her interest in keeping ruby alive might have something to do with wanting to see the girls face when she comes face to face with her mother. likely corrupted to near Tyrian's level.
Putting it out there since I haven't seen anyone say it yet. At around 9:30 you mention your concerns about the "dragon continent" waking up. Go take another look at the map. *All* of the continents are dragons. That one just so happens to be very noticeable.
Ruby might have some trouble using her silver eyes on this because we've seen the Levithan breaking through the silver eyes' magic and plus if it is the pool of creation then the whale would be immune to silver eyes because silver is the light god's color eyes.
atlas= harpoon to kill the whale grimm
The pool of light and creation is too pure for Grimm
I think you may be onto something. The jellyfish thing was probably a test of using the pool of creation on a much smaller scale
Just had a thought - Salem creating superpowered Grimm is reminiscent of the Nomus from My Hero Academia
Honestly I wondered how that worked,. Thx I like this Idea of yours,
Nice Video,. I'm impressed, thank you
Well certainly an idea.
It could very well be all 3.
we don't really know the extent of salem's magic, she could have created it
The top of it makes me think that it was hiding under the castle
I really don’t think the dragon shaped continent can “wake up” because it wasn’t originally designed to look like a dragon. The way Monty Oum made the map was by squirting ketchup onto a napkin, folding it in a few different angles and showing everyone that it’s the map.
I think this whale is just a already huge old grimm who manage to be because aquatic grimm have more chance of living long and more space to grow that Salem took and dope out with wings and more size, I even think she start preparing it especially for Atlas when Oz raise it from the ground.
Atlas: * exists *
Gigant Grimm Whale: *nom*
I initially thought thats the huge light inside of the whale grimm was all of the stolen dust, that could explain how its super fucking huge
Is that.. gravity dust crystals under the whale?

Basically you mean the Gihma Vlitra of Remnant which is basically powerful spirit that can destroy planets.
asuraswrath.fandom.com/wiki/Gohma_Vlitra
Now that I think the Gohma and Grimm are similar in purpose and design aspect as both being a spirit being, the the former being the planet's wrath manifested.
At this moment all I can say regarding the whale is that the characters and all of Atlas ARE SCREWED!
The theoretical dragon continent grim might actually be the true body of the God of darkness and the form we have seen so far is just an avatar so that he could interact with the humans
( I think that the God of light did this as well) ( their avatars are massively weaker than their true selfs kinda like how unicron and primus from transformers work but smaller scale)
Why name the Grimm wyvern Kevin? XD
What if the dragon continent is a Grimm designed to kill the gods themselves. Remember, she wants to get revenge against the gods.
Nano machines, son.
I just imagine Salem at the crib with a sketchbook, some colored pencils and markers, laying on the floor doodling up designs😂😂😂
Salem: Wats!!! I need more red and black crayons!!!! Run to the store and get me some!!!
Leviathan Grimmelle
Magic: The Gathering did a kinda similar thing to your theory of the dragon continent, except on a smaller scale and I always thought it was kinda hilarious. The city/island of Arixmethes one day just got up and swam to the aid of a God, because OOPS it wasn't an island but a kraken the entire damn time!
I'm not the only one that saw that Salem's continent looked like a dragon. But does anyone think it looks like a Charizard?
Could Salem possibly be thinking to use the staff of creation to make new pools of darkness🤔
It does make sense , I would of never thought of this.
I wonder if the pool of creation only affects creatures with souls. Then it might not have the same effect on Grimm.
What do I think? A weird fun theory vid on the continent dragon please
...What do you think the giant tree in the middle of the Pool of Creation does?
Isn't there multiple continents with dragons i mentioned this to my girlfriend a while ago so if i remember correctly theres like 3 or 4
I hope they decide to defeat it the same way as people defeated the giant mountain sized worm in gears of war 2, from the inside by cutting apart its heart. Or whatever the grim has for vital organs/glowing orb.
