Detroit, The Motor City where we love music!!!! It was just magical !!!! Marshall shows up and tore it up!!! He loves Detroit and we love him!!!! Diana Ross was great and elegant!!!! 💪💪🐐🐐🎶🎶🎶......
I’m the kid at the 8 minute mark and this song is my favorite on the planet 😅😅 to have everyone after give me high fives to me after the show was the best part😅
Jack WTF you rocked it!! That was one hell of a show in the first place! Thank you to all of the artists who performed at Michigan Central Station and making the night so remeberable.
Exactly, we have video pirates that regurgitate the same videos over and over for shock value! Yet Detroit is moving forward while they're moving backwards! Detroit ain't trying to be NY or other grossly over exaggerated cities! We beat our own drum and style!
The best American Rock performer of the last quarter century. Plus, like Dylan, with his knowledge of historical music he could be a professor of American Studies at a tip top University. Plus he could and would do a spectacular job of reupulstering your favorite piece of furniture. What a great fella. Go Detroit!
Jack is the best person I have ever seen live ! I seen him years ago at Bonaroo ! He was the best guitar player, the best keyboard player & the most charismatic person I have ever seen live! This set was incredible! I envy all of you lucky enough to be there live. !
I’ll have a Jack White on the Rocks puhleeezzzz! Can’t believe I missed this or any part of his tour this year…Lazarreto among many was my alarm for far too long . Thank you so much for posting - wish I was up front w the crowd tho🙏🏽🧥🤍🎸🤘🏽😝
Yo!!! He finally did a Jimi Hendrix cover!! Why didn't anyone else mention that?? "Hear My Train A Comin'" is a Hendrix original. I've been asking for a Hendrix cover from him forever
Jack is such a bad ass one guitar can't handle an entire song. I'm so glad Ted Nugent and Kid Rock weren't invited to this...this is us. Not them. 💙 From Detroit
Jack White fought a long time to get this up and running again. It’s beautiful! 🤩 And not far from Gross Point (J. cusack plays a hitman returning for a high school reunion with Dan Akron’s too so it’s a funny and great movie 😅)
Wait a minute. The intro guitar solo to "Hear My Train A Comin'" shows Jack White's hand very low on the neck while the notes we are hearing are obviously coming from way up on the neck. Somebody we can't see actually playing while Jack fakes it?
@@RobertVincentMusicI was suspicious because Jack White is something of a hack when trying to play lead but I guess what you say makes sense since he constantly uses a wall of pedals during his leads to try and hide how limited his ability as a lead player actually is.
@yourtubesteak "Wall of pedals?" 😅You obviously don't know anything about Jack. He's always been a minimalist. He started using octave pedals in The White Stripes to thicken up his sound since it's only a two piece band. These days, it's usually a DigiTech Whammy Pitch Shifter, Big Muff and a POG.. and that's about it. He uses FAR less effects pedals than most guitar players.
Damn Detroit. What a comeback story. What's next? Lions in the Super Bowl?
Hell yeah
Oh God, I hope so!!! We really need it !!!!🏈🏈🏈🏈.....
Gooooo LIONS!
That would be sick!
I feel like the Tigers winning the World Series possibly and the Lions winning the Superbowl this year
The actual Hotel Yorba is so close to the Train Station.....love that selection.
Opening with Hotel Yorba just a couple blocks away from Hotel Yorba was awesome
Oh wow that’s so cool!!
My dad is old enough to remember that the freeway started and ended bye the Hotel Yorba I 75
I was there and words can't capture the experience.
Same. Absolutely electric night.
Lucky you!
No you were not
Same easily my favorite performance after Eminem 😭❤️
I don't understand how anyone got tickets, they were snatched up so fast. Were they all resold by scalpers?
Ditto. One of the coolest concerts live ever seen. Speechless...
Damn, I would like to have been there live.
Hes so so kewl! One of the greats, defo! Glad you enjoyed! Pace sempre ✌🏽🎸x
Jack rocked the house!
JW is the best thing to come out of the D since the MC5…….Proud of our hometown legend!
Detroit, The Motor City where we love music!!!! It was just magical !!!! Marshall shows up and tore it up!!! He loves Detroit and we love him!!!! Diana Ross was great and elegant!!!! 💪💪🐐🐐🎶🎶🎶......

People in back were leaving I started laughing 😂 cause I knew Marshall was coming out , 🎤🔥
@DeltaDusk125 No kidding!!! I was saying how much fun it was.... Jack is a great guartist!!!!

RockStarr, I Love Jack White, Amazing Job, Detroit Loves you bruh
Jack WTF you rocked it!! That was one hell of a show in the first place! Thank you to all of the artists who performed at Michigan Central Station and making the night so remeberable.
To paraphase Mark Twain, "The report of Detoit's death has been grossly exaggerated."

This was great when I looked at the tv i thought I was in time machine jack looked young. 7 nation era look. Made me feel young again.
Thanks! I’ve been looking for this. :) jack really said I’ll do two songs but make it 11 minutes of absolute artistry.
Jack is the best person I have ever seen live ! I seen him years ago at Bonaroo ! He was the best guitar player, the best keyboard player & the most charismatic person I have ever seen live! This set was incredible! I envy all of you lucky enough to be there live. !
Ultra talented artist ❤
Wow, sooo jealous of the people that went to this.
I must admit before seeing this video I thought I was back in COLORADO at RED ROCKS. Awesome performance.
Thank you FORDS for your $$$$$$$$$$ Investment. Job well done.
thanks for the upload, he killed it!
Love the Hendrix cover you go Jack
I was there as well loved it!
The Legendary, Jack White! The concert was all the way live! Detroit in the house

30 years rocking not long enough for ya?
Effn suuuwweeeet Jack! DIG!! ✌🏽 x
Mega show 💪
I never thought I'd see Jack White cover Jimi Hendrix. I also never thought I'd see a concert at Michigan Central Station.
Let's fuckin' go, Detroit!
🔥 I love ❤️ this show #ExperienceSouthwestDetroit

Love the drummer❤😂🎉😊
Phenomenal!!!! 😎✊🏼
Jack White is a genius.
He’s a damn good artist.
AWESOME!!!! Love Jack!!!
I was here I shitted my pants 😢
that was dope
I'm jealous but I saw Jack in Boston supply chain issues tour 2022... And raconteurs help us stranger tour 2019 first row
Same, Ill see you next Boston tour
Saw him in 2003, 2005, and 2007 with white stripes
Performance of the YEAR
Damn it. I missed this!
He was Awesome, killed those Acoustics 🤘
Yes, Detroit how I miss those days!
Yo!!! He finally did a Jimi Hendrix cover!! Why didn't anyone else mention that?? "Hear My Train A Comin'" is a Hendrix original. I've been asking for a Hendrix cover from him forever
" that's the way I feel everyday" 😎😎😎😎😊
I hope they still play this at college games, this some subliminal ish...
Effortless on that guitar 🎸
Thank you Ford Motor Company for making this happen!
I think DETROIT created a NEW MUSIC VENUE?
Right?? I agree!
Guitar God ❤
Who said Rock is dead?
We are fully equipped to go “electric” with our guitars up north!
Jack was great as always. Too bad the broadcast audio was terrible
NBC is rebroadcasting on prime time 7pm Sunday
Nie wiem jak on to robi ale on jest jak wino,im starszy tym piękniejszy ❤❤❤😍🥰😘
Who better to represent D-Town.....Clap Clap Clap \o/
I heard Kid Rock was pissed he wasn't invited.
Great video work. Lackluster sound quality
Jack is such a bad ass one guitar can't handle an entire song. I'm so glad Ted Nugent and Kid Rock weren't invited to this...this is us. Not them.
💙 From Detroit

Hear My Train A Comin’!
Why wasn’t I here?
Glad I found this - Sunday broadcast cut everything but Seven Nation Army. :-( Boo! Does anyone know why?
I assume because the actual concert was close to 2-1/2 hours long (I was there) and the broadcast commitment was only an hour.
My dad knew one of his older brothers. Said jack was always running through the alleys just being weird lol
Which brother would that be?🤔
@josephgillis2668 I'm not sure. My dad passed away a few years ago, so unless one of my uncles knows, I'll never know
Is that Sam "The Man" Duvet?
Summited that building 3x when it was abandoned.
Missing Meg on drums especially on 7 Nation…
This drummer was way better
@@denahomchikn89 in what way?
@@garydelcourt2791 Daru Jones is a well known Detroit legend. He's performed with Jack almost as long and Jack and Meg were in a band together.
It would have been nice if Meg was there...
Did Goober and the Peas play? 😀
WHERES MEG??
Good to see Detroit isn't just all rap
I’ve always liked Jack white better with his black long hair I hope he keeps it this way wasn’t a fan of the blue
Shame Meg didn't join him for this.
cool set and perfomance but why is the video so laggy?
Can the Tigers and the Lions win a championship this year the World Series Lombardi Trophy
I'll settle for the Lions, LOL
Rip
How did 2 people sound so much better than this whole ass band?
Sometimes simpler is better
What the name over the song
What's the second song called
Hear My Train A-Comin' - Jimi Hendrix

He shifts the octaves through the pedals
As was mentioned.. he uses effects pedals. There is nothing fake about Jack White.
@@RobertVincentMusicI was suspicious because Jack White is something of a hack when trying to play lead but I guess what you say makes sense since he constantly uses a wall of pedals during his leads to try and hide how limited his ability as a lead player actually is.
Aww, a widdle hater who is so jealous of Jack White.
How cute. 😂

Who is the band? Besides jack white.
Probably a bunch of hired "guns".
Same guys Jack has been using for years.. including Daru Jones on Drums, Dominic John Davis on bass
Bobby Emmett on Hammond organ.
Song name?
I'm glad he dumped the blue hair and went back to black split hair. Still a legit artist.
Jack White for Trump 2024 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
