@@jebatman756 that riff is completely stollen from Bruckner's fifth
if you are talking about the riff, I have to tell you that it is stollen from bruckner fifth symphony; if you think it's white creation, you are wrong
He is such a phenomenal artist who also has a spectacular sense of humor. He looks like he's having a blast along with the audience and that's the best part of it
This song is one of the anthems of the 21st century. An instant classic.
Write a simple riff that never gets old. Make lyrics that fits perfectly.
Genius.
This is really good! i gotta say - that overplayed stadium gem really has gotten some new life with the new band. Daru is killing it behind the drums - such an unexpected combo. nice.
Yeah, nice to hear it not at a hockey game!
Great energy between the crowd and the band. Very classy. Insisted on taking the bow with his band. Not every solo act does this.
Imagine the vibe being there!! This version SERIOUSLY ROCKS!
i was there
Man i would have given up my soul to be in that croud
Only Jack White could create a 7 note Riff that turns into an International Sports Anthem sung in 🏟️Stadiums. Amazing how this song took on a life of its own. 😮😊Because it’s catchy!
Simple is always best. The simple riffs are always the most popular.
@@partyguinnessyes. DOWN for example. Heaviest and simplest shit
"Only Jack"? You forget Gary!
Amazed that the crowd know all the lyrics, they smart!
The song is 20 yrs old and it's been popular since then.🤷♂️
@@whocares.u3024 Dont get me wrong i always sing it when im at a soccer game, or ordering a big mac via a big touch screen.
It a anthem that people have been singing in the UK for years. It’s always used in Glastonbury when they give praise to acts!
@@Liquidchoir Or in Sports ie Manchester City use it For Kevin De Bruyne Ie Oh Kevin De Bruyne or For Tennis Oh Emma Raducanu for example or Oh Andy Murray
I just love how he sang the second and third verse. That alternation was so fun.
I swear he just gets better with age!
and the whole crowd kept with him somehow... magically? top
Not a massive fan but found myself at the Park when this set started. It was brilliant. Such a great performance even though I only knew the famous White Stripes songs.
those are the only songs that matter

Jack and his band are AMAZING man. This is a legend, a true GOAT, and a very underrated one.
Hell of a performance that.
Some crowd as well! Not even in the top 3 biggest stages at Glastonbury either, awesome!
He sounds incredible. What a legend
They cheered throughout the entire song. Even when the song ended they sang cheered and clapped. Nice
That has to be one of the best live performances of that song I've ever seen
Totally agree. I love the additional organ driven tune.
Yeah it was really good! It's crazy how famous this song has gotten. Most people don't even know the actual song, just because the football chant is so famous now. It's becoming one of the most recognizable songs on the planet year after year. That's gotta be a crazy feeling if you're the writer of it
in Manaus Brazil was much better
Totally agree
The White Stripes - Seven Nation Army (Live at Bonnaroo 2007) 10x better.
I'm an old person who really enjoyed this. Memories of Woodstock....
Jack White didn't play at Woodstock. Common mistake.
@@DoodooSwaggy did you even read this comment?
@@alexmalch I didn't actually. Was my comment applicable?
@@DoodooSwaggy they didn’t say that jack performed at Woodstock , they only said that the show reminds them of Woodstock

Wow. I love when an artist stays passionate all those years later. I’m not a huge fan of Jack White, but this was an incredible performance and it demands respect. I appreciate this and was zoned out watching him.
man, they killed it. next level performance
Man, Jack nailed that. What a performance. Always helps with a good crowd to feed off.
How good does Jack look at the minute? Awesome performance, still remember watching him fall over the drum kit at Glastonbury some years back. Legend.
He is looking well, even with blue hair!
according to his recent interview on conan’s podcast, dude hasn’t had processed sugars since the pandemic started 🤯
@@whatsupclouds Great, great, great episode. They share a special kind of passion.
My dream has always been to go to Glastonbury. Now that I live in the UK, I'm going to make it happen. Bucket list.
I’m joining you in 2023 my bro 😎 I’m moving to the uk soon too
You lucky dog you!!
Just make sure you bring a bucket for your trash as well.
I wish all true music fans. Could go at least once. I was lucky been at 3x. Remember you are watching the main stages. What goes on behind that. Will freak you out!!!
I have a dream too! 😇
This song is one of the most catchy song I have ever heard GREAT job jack white
Jack actually made that guitar right before going on out of a wood pallet and and some spare wire he found backstage
LMAO

I’m surprised his Kay guitar still works, he has beated the hell out of that guitar ever since The White Stripes.
His luthier probably has a very nice house.
He probably has another twelve identical ones behind the stage.
You could buy a pack of 25 Kays for a $50 when he started playing them in the '90s...
@@MirlitronOne the model he has, there isn’t many of them left… he has 2 and treats them like gold dust lol
Jacks voice still going strong! Legend
It's super good to hear him come back live on-stage with this ever iconic number! He's STILL GOT THE SOUL!
Jack White is an excellent guitarist.
Yeah but he beat his first wife. That means he is a shit human and it cancels out that great guitarist bit.

This is just the peak. This must be like the arch of Jack White being completed. Just amazing. Beautiful. Can’t find the words. 🙏🏼
One hell of a performance..........by the crowd, Jack is a brilliant 'one-man band' with a fantastic backing outfit, if you get my drift.................of course you do.
Rock and Roll will never die! Thank you Glastonbury! Thank you for proving it last week!

Jack is exceptional and reminds me of bands like Queen, because he exactly knows what worked with his fans and what he can improve on. I don't know how else to explain it...
I don't think there has been any performer in the last 15 years, not even Grimes or Muse, who understood their crowd this much tbh.I
If I had the chance I'd say "Jack, I know it's not alway easy... but thank you."
I don't think this can ever besurpassed even by Queen it will behard.
This riff is up there with "Smoke on the Water" and "Whole Lotta Love" as far as most iconic of all time. In 200 years, it'll be looked upon like Beethoven is now.

Saw Jack White last night in Chicago at the Aragon Ballroom. Amazing high-energy performance and fabulous band!
YES, I was there too. I never wanted his set to end.
He always put's 💯% into a show & it's easy to see. 🤟😖
He's got the energy and stage presence of a man half his age; you Go Jack White!!
