It actually came to Brazil in 1992. Imports were forbidden in Brazil from 1976 to 1990. Mitsubishi started bringing the L200 in 1991 and the Pajero in 1992.

I'm proud of my 1995 Mitsubishi Pajero V6, it can go places where other SUVs would be stuck and it's an uncommon sight on the road too. The only downside is the maintenance. I have to wait for months to import a few spare parts from Japan.
In. Sri Lanka We have so many pajeros as government vehicles ( police, municipal council, Agricultural department etc) all most all of them nearly 3 decades old still runs like it came out factory yesterday, you can easily found a Pajero in any vehicle advertisment page And people recognize Pajeros as synonym for Reliability and longevity
i know that pajero was a winning car, but you had to see the story of the UMM team (Portuguese team) all of them finished and still helped a lot of teams!
We were supposed to buy the Pajero final edition but we can't seem to get rid of any of our 3 older Pajero. They still work very well. Cheap parts, easy to fix. Both gas and diesel models. Mine would probably be my final car. Hate the tech on new cars. Unnecessary novelty, more stuff that could break.

Yep, pumping up boring tiny cars, they slap on the ralliart sticker once in a while, but that's it. The mitsubishi now will never know how much the prestige and value of that sticker in its past glory days of mitsubishi ralliart tem.
Thanks for another great motor racing story. At 5:25 when the second pair of ads had reared their ugly faces, I was worried that this channel might have gone the way of another channel that I had subscribed to for around five years; Triggernometry, which started running two ads every three minutes. I unsubscribed and deleted their bookmark after a few episodes of that rort. Thankfully, there were no more ads on Motor Legends after those two pairs at the beginning. Phew! Also interesting to see one set of shots of the Pajero Evo with a licence plate from Victoria, Australia. Definitely a very popular model for a few decades in Australia. Hard to guess how the Pajero fared saleswise against the Toyota Landcruiser and the Nissan Patrol, being quiite a bit smaller than both those two, but with a reputation as a better 4x4 than either.

How is it boring.. Pajero is a legend..
Have you watched the video and it's title?
I love pajero/montero, including the new one
I wish this car can return to its glory, no matter how.
i know that pajero was a winning car, but you had to see the story of the UMM team (Portuguese team) all of them finished and still helped a lot of teams!
What? I had no idea UMM went to the Dakar, damn
One ot the reasons I keep my 2009 4x4 montero sport/pajero sport RELIABILTY
Awesome content as usual! Keep up the good job!
at that time Mitsubishi SUV may not be fast, but she won my heart till now. a beauty icon
They changed the name in south America cuz 'pajero' means 'wanker'.
Just found out this family Suv is a rally champion and a very a rialiable family car

The pajero evo was a legend
the monterosport was so good tooo
Mitsubishi king of the world champion
my first thought as to why Mitsubishi could win more than other manufacturers, is because they build vehicles for military, and correct I am lol
Magnificent
The Pajero was the rally big brother to the lancer evo
I have the thumbnail ver. (Montero Sport) and, after 16 years , is still a daily (most used) .

Wrong. If that's the case, then surely they wouldn't have lost against euro rally cars multiple times. Namely porsche, audi, citroen and vw. Smh. 🤦♂️
Mitsubishi Evo❤
✨
Love my 3gen wanker car its too bad shitsubishi parts are so hard to find with 20 yo electronics and plastic being the lifeblood of its 4wd magic
Bc we have both cars
Padjero and montero is different kind of cars
They are the same car
Pinoy kaba? Ang bubo mo.

It's YT that put the ads, not the channel.
