Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was a part on Man United when they really believed in themselves. They beat everybody then. Real Madrid, Bayern Munich etc etc.. The self esteem that was there back then seems to have been gone now. Man Unites didn`t fear anybody, and there`s no need for them to fear anybody now. They`re Man united!! Solskjear is not afraid of anybody. He believes in Man U. They`re going to keep winning with him.
Cantona was only there for a couple of seasons when Solskjaer joined Man United. And if he needs advice i`m sure he will call Cantona. He`s in touch with Sir Alex on a daily basis.

He went from being an unknown player with an unpronounceable name, to a much-loved legend at Utd. One of the most natural finishers Utd have ever had. Either foot. He was so cool and clinical in front of goal. Who else could ever come on for the last 15 minutes, on a mudbath pitch, away from home, when your team is already 4-0 up, and knock in 4 goals? Superb striker.
He scored his very first United goal exactly the same way he scored his very last - came on as a sub against Blackburn Rovers at Old Trafford and got the ball in the net six minutes later. First goal: 25th August 1996 - came on at 64th minute, scored on the 70th minute. Last goal: 31st March 2007 - came on at 84th minute, scored on the 90th minute.

One of the greatest signings ever. An unknown to a legend! He proved its not the big transfer or come from a big nation to play for United.
but i think he deserve more minute to play , look how effective he is that's why he got baby face assasin nickname ...
@@netizenterhormat9768 there is an interview of ole gunnar solskjaer in which he says that he has always analyzed opposition defence and their movement while sitting on the bench. when he got on the pitch he knew exactly how to hurt them. not many football players will do that while on the bench. maybe that is the reason ferguson used him often as a sub, plus fitness (?). Pure Legend Ole

And, the best quote from him : "I have no problem with this supersub term, I prefer to take on this role and have a big influence rather than playing 200 matches and being mediocre."
All Manchester United player : "well noted, boss."
True
@Bonty Bonson you have to change your name from bonty o booty , because your thinking actually resembles a big booty
@Bonty Bonson the league isn't ours this season but I think we could definitely do it next year.
Olo
Massively underrated given the gravitas of so many of the players he lined up with, but so many defenders have spoken about how Ole was the last person they wanted the ball to drop to in their box. Class act and not even a hint of ego.
This guy was a pure talented striker..126 goals with most of his career goals as a substitute..wow! He deserves more accolades.
Never seen anybody else with the anticipation and instinct in front of goal. It's not luck he's in the right place at the right time.
I have never seen such an efficient forward in my life! He has a maximum of 3 touches! A typical Solsjkaer goal usually has 2 touches:
1) Control the ball
2) Shoot early
Any young striker should learn to play like this.
Greenwood 👍
If only Greenwood can take notes... Cause Greenwood is the reincarnation of Solsjkaer
Left foot, right foot, head...pure instinct, pure skill, one of the greatest players to ever grace the fields of Manchester Unitited.....
In his words: It takes practice. Lots and lots of practice.
2:18 The entire stadium goes completely quiet when he gets close, absolutely love it
it seems like Manchester United had Solskjaer in mind back in October and they were prepping us for the legend to return

With that knee... 11 goals in his last season. He really gave his all for manu.. AND NOW HE IS BACK....
yeah, i remember the last years of his career, he was constantly injured, that 2004-6 period was tough for him... the club owes him a lot, we the fans, specially...
Chuuute!!!
I remember when Ole Gunnar first arrived at United, that instinct for goal and seemingly permanent smile made him one of my favourite players in short order. Watching this has given me goosebumps a couple of times, especially that Bayern goal! I feel very lucky to have grown up when I did, as I grew up with a Manchester United that went from being nearly men to an all conquering juggernaut. Hopefully Ole Gunnar will bring some of that stardust with him in the managers role!
I aggre, but i am a Liverpool fan. As also Ole was before going to United. Being a Liverpool player was his dream.
I am not a Utd fan but Ole was worth his weight in gold. Class player I enjoyed watching his clinical finishing.
Irrespective of what happens to Ole as utd manager, even if he's sacked he will always remain a utd legend❤️
I remember when Utd bought him in 1996 and I read that he had been a goal machine in Norway with 38 goals in 31 appearances for Molde and I thought "he'll be one for the future" but he quickly established himself and scored lots of amazing goals surprisingly with both feet and his head - he really was a complete striker and what would he be worth now in today's market? Tens of millions for sure, but to us Utd fans, he's a priceless gem! Welcome back, Ole! I just know he's going to get our players enjoying playing football together again! :)

Amazing how he made finishing from ANY angle seem soo effortless, brilliant.
That`s what made him a Man United legend.
Lukaku should pay attention to this video.

Absolute legend. My favourite United player of all time. And one of our best ever strikers
Carpe Diem Same. And I’m not even a United fan. Arsenal fan here, and when I was a kid, every time Solskjaer came on I got chills😅. He’s just simple finisher, right place-right time kinda finisher. He never overdid things. Legend

and he deserve more minuted play
@Tobi Adesammi Solskjær's greatest advantage was that he only needed a football sized passage to score a goal. Some of his goals seems impossible.
Me too. Favourite! 20LEgend
He was an excellent finisher, Scored from the most hardest angles in the best fashion.

He is such a nice footballer! Scores, hands in the air, smiles and laughs a bit, looking happy all the time, rather than dancing or ripping off his shirt to show his muscles like some do.
😂😂😂😂 CR7 was also one of the united greats but he is a little bit arrogant.
That muscles has more than 600 plus goals. Your argument is invalid
You know a real baller when he's the 3rd choice striker and still has a 31mins compilation of goals. Assassin!
Who is here after he became United's manager.

one of my favorite player ever in MU..one of the greatest legend that MU ever had...go go go ole ole..my hero my super sub...

I think he retire at 2008

Lukaku needs crosses to be effective inside the box, and unfortunately United doesn't have anyone who can cross at the moment. Maybe playing Rashford as striker and Sanchez as RW would be better or the other way around (as most people thought it would when Sanchez came to United)
