When you look at something like this you see that football is dead. This was when mega money wasn't involved. Passion skill and a will to win not about wages. Amazing passion from all teams.
You're deluded. The whole reason the Premier League exists was FOR and because OF mega money. United happened to be one of the Clubs that backed for it's creation as they were looking at profits over the current Division of the time. You need only see all the sponsors of the time and the players playing. Not to mention Sky Sports getting a hand in it as well. Look at the Juve and Madrid teams. All the world's best. That said, it was a fantastic time in Football as there was a equilibrium between passion, loyalty, skill and finances.
Anyone disagreeing with the OP is wrong. Football is dead. Look at the old games. Arsenal vs Man U and Keane vs Viera etc. 90s and early 2000s was the peak, and what a wonderful peak it was. Wonderful footballers but also men. I can still feel the passion I felt for the game when I watch these replays. Firstly, the game became pathetic because the players became pathetic. The diving is disgusting. And any self respecting man would have no part of it while the world watches on. Rugby never embraced cheating, and cheating by making yourself look as weak as a 10 year old is beyond embarrassing When Ronaldo arrived at Man U, he was insulted for diving. He had to get tough in a mans game and became one of the best the world had as a result. I have zero respect for Neymar and the game as a whole, where winning by cheating came above masculine pride or valid acconplishments. Money also ruined it as 18 years old, with nothing of worth to add, beyond kicking a ball, make it before they have to fight to make it. There is no steel. The England football team wanted people to stop being critical of them, to protect their feeble mentality during the recent tournament. What kind of wet nonsense is that? They had money in the 90s, but it came when you became a giant in the game Mr 18 years old with spots had to work to it. Unless, they were like Michael Owen. Talent dictated it then. Now, all of them are paid too early, before they accomplished anything, and that stunts development. At 30 they have no heart. And in that way, money did ruin the sport. Just look at boxing. The reason the likes of Ali and frazier, or hearns hagler Duran Leonard, or eubank Ben Collins etc are no longer seen, is because they no longer aspire to the same goals today. Fight to escape the streets and you get Mike Tyson. Remove that and boxing gets a pool of posers who want to look like a fighter rather than be a fighter. If money and girls and ego drive you, then you are always going to be way short of true greatness. Footballers today couldn't survive in an old Man U vs Arsenal game. They had to win first, with the wages a nice bonus. Its the other way round niw. The pay check is the goal. Imagine any of them playing against Duncan Ferguson 😅 1 season wonders, every last one of them. Football is dead. But great sport is not. It just moved house.

I honestly think the end of the Ferguson era changed the whole of English football and not for the better ! The overall quality in the EPL has dropped dramatically in the last decade, there used to be loads of truly ‘world class’ players back then which you don’t see nowadays. There are a lot of players in the top league that aren’t that much better than those in the Championship. There is too much focus on not losing as opposed to going out to ‘win’ and that means we’re lucky if we get 3-4 genuinely exciting, end to end games these days either.
I'm not entirely sure I'd agree entirely with that as a United fan. There's certainly something about watching more teams produce decent football, but for me the problem is that teams have forgotten how to defend properly, and I certainly don't think the football in the 00's was less impressive than today. I also don't like the fact that sides that play City, Arsenal and Liverpool tend to set up to not lose heavily, and certainly not to win. So many times against United back in the day we used to see opponents have a go. A lot of this is the style of play. City play death by possession football, which other teams simply can't replicate. We need to see sides mix it up a bit. 4-4-2 and a couple of strikers, with wingers pumping balls into the box, it might ruffle the feathers more cos City can't be beaten at their own game.

@@Nightopian1982The problem for defenders these days is you barely have to breathe on someone to get a yellow card. The slightest connection in the box and the attacker goes down like he’s been shot. John O’shea’s footwork and dribbling on that attack into the left hand side of the box in the (6-2) Newcastle game was absolutely magic. Unlucky the shot at the end of his dribble, that thundered off the bar, it’s not a few centimeters lower or that goal would be replayed until the end of time! You think UTD is missing big John O’Shea and some of these other greats!? They’re certainly missing the leadership of SAF
Paul Scholes, Wayne Rooney hat-trick and David Beckham free-kick are G.O.A.T in England🇬🇧. Cristiano Ronaldo also G.O.A.T in United. I love all of them in history of United ❤.
I know because I was there. I've been at every single football match home and away that Manchester United have played since 1954, that's 70 years and counting
He was immense in that game from the first minute he stepped on the field. The entire game changed and United actually threathed Bayern and pushed them way back on the field. While sheringham did work, the game changed when Ole turned on. Bayern had the game by its balls from the 1st minute until he got subbed on. And Ole is also heavily involved in almost all the big comebacks of united.
@@whatwhat3432523 ye that was hes speciality as a sub. He watched the game from the sideline with a tactical mindset, he saw the weak links on the opponent and worked around it om the field 💪
Why was MANU football so good then and so boring now? Best time in my life watching the boys of MANU then. Wazzy, Scholsy, Evra, Oshea, Ferdi, Renaldo, and everyone else. The best era of football on earth.... now long gone. Why?
Seeing this makes me realise that why I always felt todays football sucks and kinda incomplete.. Plus, just look at'em goals, strikers today would go near the goal as much they can before making an attempt and look at those old goals chipping from kms away.... Good old days when it was all about passion, love for the game, chemistry bw players, discipline, real masculine players (I mean kick them and they won't go down 😂Tbh)
Yes, they did spent money on big name established players such as Cantona, Van Nisteroy, Rio Ferderand, etc. Though they did make smart investment in young talent such as Ronaldo, Ole Gunner solesjaeer and Rooney. But most importantly, it was their academy products of Giggs/Beckham/Scholes/Butt/Neville brothers that were the backbone of that era. Giggs played more than 20 years for Utd and has won numerous trophies along the way.
@AJCarey92 utd would never be the same without Fergie you can't compare the today with the past but the Fergies team would easily win the Premier league now.
Firstly, your man here said "champion always" meaning past, present and future and second Fergie's Utd DID lose to Coventry City again when they were a Championship side. Obviously Utd were by far the better team on paper but my point stands against what he said Comeback King's, they may very well be; Champions Always, delusion.

I love all of them in history of United ❤.
rooney is really underrated,, first touch, playmaking, clucth moment, and aura...
I know because I was there. I've been at every single football match home and away that Manchester United have played since 1954, that's 70 years and counting
you are a huge fan
I'm crying watching this
Back in the day when United knew how to build a football team.
Love how Ole got united the corner kick, No one talks about that
He was immense in that game from the first minute he stepped on the field.
Ole was a genius who was destroyed by a series of long injuries
Why was MANU football so good then and so boring now? Best time in my life watching the boys of MANU then. Wazzy, Scholsy, Evra, Oshea, Ferdi, Renaldo, and everyone else. The best era of football on earth.... now long gone. Why?
I miss those cold champion leagues night
They were historical
No one can do United way🎉and we are coming back to conquer the world of football 🎉
Yeap, the team is rebuilding. Today, it's easier to conquer the world compared to those days
I miss my youth ❤️
One day, those days will be back
Stogie motherf T🔥🔥 now I see why them other rappers don't like him he' deserve n award for putting SA on the map much respect Stogie T
Ngài Alex Ferguson thật đáng tôn kính, Manchester united 🌹 mãi mãi ở trong tim tôi, năm 99 thật kì diệu,
The miracle year
I hope Phil was sent a medal for the OG in 07’.
I miss the old days 😢😭
Ini dimana saat itu tidak ada yg bisa menghancurkan MU...sungguh team yang sempurna
watching this gives me goosepumb all over my body
15:27 what a pass from Ryan Giggs. No one ever talks about that
As beautiful as this video is and loads of amazing memories, too... the quick and rapid changing of the camera angles is a bit too much.
Mu vs Bayern is still the best come back ever. Nothing better
Finishing was superb in this era. Today players can’t find the face of the goal… ie skills are poor today.
#Nonton Liga inggRis lagi enak2 yah di zaman itu, Nonton yah Rame2???hahaha...®
COMEBACK KINGS CHAMPION ALWAYS MANCHESTER UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB
Barely got through Coventry City, a championship side but yehh always champions 😂
Glory!
These were the good old days;
United for life ❤❤❤❤
Forever the biggest club
GREAT AND BEST ERA OF A FOOTBALL.......NOW FOOTBALL IS NOTHING AND BORING.!!!
I am praying that one day, it comes back
@@magicfc1000 ME TOO...BUT WE HAVE REALISTIC,,THAT WAS IMPOSSIBLE.
Days united was magificent
It will again very soon
The Real Madrid one should not be even on the list tbh. We got knocked out even with the win, and there have been way more memorable comebacks.
since 1968,the only time United won Real Madrid in 6 decades, still memorable. Milan, Bayern, Barca, Juve, United did win any European giants more than once in this period.
Thank you
Cole goal just reminded me of Amas goal yesterday in the derby❤😂
FERGIE WHAT A MANAGER.
Sir Alex Ferguson created stars in United, not to come starts for United 👍👍
Man utd under Ferguson didn't know how to lose 🙏 those days will return GGMU...
I don't see the return any day soon
@@magicfc1000Ferguson era was ended, need to accept...It's time to make new era without being overshadowed by Ferguson glory..Who know it will be better than Ferguson time..
Nice video, nice memories. But I would argue that winning being 1-0 down isn't an impossible comeback. And what about 0-3 to 5-3 vs Spurs away in 01/02, an 0-2 to 5-2 vs Spurs at home in 08/09? :)
Behind that net all those years ago. The sound was deafening ! Special times !
Apparently winning from being 1 goal down ranks as "impossible"
No fighting spirit
I see ManU fans enjoying the history channel :)
What's wrong with that 🤣
@@magicfc1000 History was good, but now the stadium is leaking, the squad is shit, and everyone can laugh at you lot from London that support ManU :)
Rags LOL
10:12 The 4-2 comeback win against Everton at Goodison Park looked like the Everton players wanted to lose. Match-fixing ? Can't be the only one who noticed that !
Macheda ❤
He was a promising young man
