You shouldn't pull the sides of the screen like that! You will find the exposed end of the rubber tape that holds the screen in place. It's under the outside screw on the hinges. Pull it up and slowly pull it down towards the bottom of the screen to release the screen from the tape.
@@computergeeksrepair strange that they would through the effort of putting the EXACT tape that Acer uses but not leave a "tail" sticking out for you to grab. To get to the "tail" you would have had to move the wires on both sides right above the outside hinge screw. Anyway, good video. Thanks

yes, right, but this lcd was replced already once. no pull tape was exposed. so,
