Its either those spinning green tornadoes of death or those annoying bugs that spawn literally everywhere in the shroud. Those bugs don't do much damage and has like barely any health but good lord do they come in packs and do absolutely nothing but literally get in the way, especially when you're a wand user in the middle of a boss
These guys are the reason I switched to the mage build. They still suck (especially in confined spaces), but nothing brings more joy to my heart than blasting them with ice bolts until they stop moving.
You need to make sure you have a resting bonus, it gives a huge stamina boost. At the start you still had it, but during your second fight it ended, just make sure to sit at your Flamealtar before you venture out again, it will give you a small amount of resting bonus which should be enough if you're close enough to the spot where you died.
If you can hit those Green dudes with a frost charge with a staff when they are incoming, it slows then down quite a bit. carry sugar for a stamina hit before a fight, helps with mining as well.
I look for a high spot, and shoot them with my bow. I don't mind a challenge, but the greens are tough, often more so than the mini bosses. I play solo only, so I have found ways to fight the hardest things, and I don't really mind having to get creative, as long as I can progress in the game.
Sounds like a solid plan. I recommend the shroud arrows, I’ve recently tried them and they with really well. If you ever want to join me for some chill play, let me know
@@IronsideGames Thanks for the tip, I haven't tried the shroud ones. I carry a full load of exploding arrows, and poison iron arrows. I also keep a fire and a lightening wand, but to be honest I mostly use the lightening one. The lightening works great on the big birds, and scorpions, and works great with my shield. I hold down the right mouse button to shield while clicking to use the wand. Scorpions aren't hard to kill, but they always poison you, with the shield up, you can block most if not all of it. The shroud guys don't like the lightening either, it works good for the flying ones, wraiths I call them, in the shard. I am a shield tank, don't like the two handed weapons, maybe because the animation is so slow, I feel like I am not doing damage, but to each his own. I haven't joined with anyone, I will keep you in mind if I decide I want to give that a try. Thank you for the offer 💜
Totally agree about the green sword guys. It was much easier when I changed from mage to tank. This game isn't kind to magic users cause you're fighting up close almost all the time. They need to buff up magic. The staffs are pretty much useless they take so long to use and your magic runs out immediately.
@IronsideGames definitely fruit bowl, I also use chamomile tea and meat sandwich. There's another tea you can use that requires saffron. I'm a warrior build so I focus on stamina, health and strength.
These green dudes are totally overtuned - yes - but your issue is that you keep playing without the rested bonus. The game is not balanced around that, just like most survival games. The whole stamina issue, especially, is pretty much solved by playing while rested.
those guys are a pain in the ass, and to top it off, the loot you get sucks ass. The devs are idiots for putting such monsters in the game, especially with such shit loot, they should drop Hella great loot for what it takes to kill them, instead you get torn cloth and a rune etc.. I can get that from a bug.. such a joke..
I refer to the green guys as "agents" because they never run out of stamina and move quicker than any other mob in the game

If you have a mage build with both solar aura nodes unlocked, the bugs will mostly die before they can get close enough to attack.

They can be tough. I always make sure my rested bonus and food buffs are up, then drink a flask if the fell just before raiding a scavenger camp.

They are faster than any other mob, will chase you a ridiculous distance and their stamina regens absurdly fast. They're frustratingly OP.

I think I have mastered how to take them down now!

You have to wombo combo these green guys. Ice shard from staff slows them down alot then just fire wand them to death easy peasy

They are rough. I have to take a breath and slow down. Get so used to burning through most mobs when you hit them it's like hitting a brick wall.
Yup, I think I have new technique though, just need to find some higher level ones
If you kept all 3 food buffs active it would help a lot with your health and stamina. There are also foods that help with regeneration.
