Don Det and the 4000 islands are right at the very bottom of Laos and they are definitely worth making your way down through the country to visit! In this video we take you with us around the islands of Don Det & Don Khon which are both beautiful, remote and have a great backpacker energy!
If you are planning a trip to Laos you should definitely leave some time for Don Det! This was one of our favorites stop off's in this amazing country.

Hey, we're Eoin and Aisling, a couple from Ireland who have packed their bags, waved goodbye to home and set off to travel the world in search of new adventures!

Hello Nicole, we decided 6/7 years ago that we wanted to travel with this freedom. We were both lucky to get good jobs when we left university and also worked part-time jobs on top of our full-time jobs so we saved and saved and saved haha it wasn't easy but we were both determined! I think if you want to travel it's all about getting your spending under control and taking saving seriously but it's different for everyone
