If you want the over the ear version and wear a wide brim hat, then use stingray sun hat with it. Just found it, can’t wait to use it together.

A bit of feedback on the green ones…..
Yes outside noise is dampened you can still hear ambient noise. This feature is not able to be turned on or off. It’s just a feature of the headphones if that makes sense. They don’t need to be turned on you can just hear a little of outside noise. Enough to hear but certainly does what it’s supposed to and block loud dangerous noise. So basically you don’t need to turn them on to use them just as a set of normal headphones.
Yes there is a mic built in. The calls are able to continue when working on machinery BUT when the noise is too loud this does make the call difficult overall does a good job with dampening noise so calls can be facilitated.
So according to the vid they seem to be the entry level but they do an awesome job as I use them outdoors when using a ride on mower and they are brilliant 😁

How is the call quality? Would you use these in a noisy call center environment where you are on the phone all day?

The call quality is pretty good. I can hear the other person easily. In the situation you describe I would go for the ISO Tunes Link 2.0 model and use the additional optional boom mic. Thanks for watching.

I would like a pair that I can wear while deer hunting and do lawn service with. Which do you think would work better?

Just bought the 3M Worktunes connect + Gel Pads today. The audio quality is total garbage. I didn't expect bose or Sennheiser, but it's abysmal. 100% returning them to try the isotunes and maybe others

Did you get iso tunes? Is the audio and better?

@@jakpips3967 I never did. After further research it seems the only way to get relatively high quality audio is wearing ear protection over wireless earbuds. Just get good deep cup ear muff style if you do this.

@@jakpips3967 just saw this. I elected to go with regular overhead earmuffs and my Samsung Galaxy buds. That's the only way you're gonna get good quality and protection in my opinion.

i wear Skullcandy Crusher over-ear headphones when im in the shop. I do the maintenance at a big machine shop. I very much like having the surrounding noise dampened. also love having great sound quality when im alone and wanna listen to music. But the main reasons i wear the headphones are to dampen noise and so i can hear my phone notifications and take calls when someone calls me or texts me when something broke.. Ive been dying to upgrade to something bluetoothy and muffy. These being OSHA certified is a huge plus. I might be able to get my boss to buy them for me because of that alone. These look awesome. great vid.
Few concerns i have that you didnt cover. Do the green ones dampen noise at all when theyre in their normal non dampening mode? or do they allow full ambient DB's through? Can you turn on and off that feature? and when its off are they normal ear muffs with bluetooth?
and one huge question, do the green ones have a mic built in at all? i know it doesnt take the boom mic but does it have ANY mic?

Nora fan of over the ear headphones since I like to wear a hat with a brim. Their other headphones are amazing.

Oh ok. That makes sense. I always use a baseball style cap so the over the ear works well. I agree that the in ear models they have all work well and are very comfortable. Thanks for watching.

Why do ear muffs need Bluetooth? They're not headphones

Are these just Bluetooth or can you get Fm radio stations as well ?

The ones featured in this video are all Bluetooth only. They have since released a version with radio functionality. Thanks for watching.

If anyone is gonna buy the link or aware id swap the battery out for 3 rechargeable aaa's i use mine at work and they last about 3 days worth of use

Yes the 3AAA battery option is advertised as lasting a lot longer. However personally I’ve never needed to use that except for rare occasions if the lithium battery dies. I find charging them each night is easy to remember and never runs out of juice. Thanks for watching.

I've seen mostly bad reviews for isotunes from folks who didnt get them for free. Please let us know how they work for you.

    • @LawnCareBusinessSuccess

I have had a mostly positive experience with most of their models. With the in ear models you have to watch out if your using the memory foam tips as they do wear out and will not seal properly over time but they are something you are supposed to replace from time to time anyway, and they do sell replacement tips. The first generation Link model I love. They have worked great and no issues in wet weather. The only model I did not care for was the FREEs. That is their like apple AirPod style wireless model. They had a lower noise reduction rating and along with a low volume for music I found them not as effective if using noisy machines. So I don’t recommend those for lawn care. Most of the complaints I’ve seen are all about the low volume output for music. What people don’t realize is that they are hearing protection first. So to be OSHA and Niosh approved that can’t just block outside noise but let you lose your hearing from playing music even louder than you would normally because your in a loud environment. So they hav a fixed maximum volume. That’s why I lean towards the over the ear style. They just work. Once you put them on they block out the noise and you can hear what your listening to. The in ear style there can be lots of variables like those tips wearing out, them not being seated properly, coming loose etc that will effect the experience. Thanks for watching.
