I've had the mystery ranch duffe 40L And the Osprey 40L and the Patagonia duffe 40 or 45L size Osprey is better then the Patagonia And out of your bags.. It's no comparison... Mystery Ranch 40L is 100% all around better bag.. My stays up better then the Osprey and Patagonia duffe.. Maybe the 40L size is smaller then your 65L and that's the reason.. But if your looking at a lifetime travel duffel... You would waste your money on getting the Osprey and Patagonia duffe..
If the bag is waterproof it could be used as a flotation device should you need to jump into a River to escape a forest fire. Also please wear your safety helmet when using chin-up bars for testing devices. Concussions can be dangerous to your continued well being.

Hah! Great advice. Very unfortunately you can't use it as a floatation device. Bag is more water resistant than water PROOF!
