I was looking up stuff about region changing and some guy on a forum from australia said he changed his region from aus to uk often so he could access the european eshop. this probably means there was an exclusive wii u eshop for australia, and i assume it was just a lesser version of the european eshop. scott could access it easily by making another account on his pal wii u and setting australia as the region.
Fun fact: Dragon Quest X existed on the Wii as well! It shut down a while back, but I think it was like the only Wii game that had to be installed to a USB drive. You couldn't run it from the disc, but this did open it up to being fully patchable despite being a disc game on the Wii.

People over there in Japan can usually read the simple English words anyways so it works out like in titles and stuff

I’m sure someone’s already commented this, but Warriors Orochi 3 being labeled Warriors Orochi 2 in Japan isn’t a mistake. In Japan, the second Warriors Orochi game was called Warriors Orochi: Rebirth of the Demon Lord, whereas in the States, the same game was released as Warriors Orochi 2. So Warriors Orochi for the Wii U was called Warriors Orochi 3 in the US to match up with the numbering used here, and in Japan it was called Warriors Orochi 2 because I guess Rebirth of the Demon Lord didn’t count. I don’t know why they couldn’t still call it Warriors Orochi 3 in Japan, given that the two prior games had both released there. Weird choice, but that’s why.
I made a comment about this but seeing that you already commented it, I deleted mine. But the reasoning for the number difference was because Warriors Orochi 2 wasn't considering a sequel in Japan, but rather an expansion. They didn't use a "2" since they themselves didn't count it as a sequel, but given that the story content from WO1 isn't available in Maou Sairin, I'm guessing that's why Koei in North America changed it to a number, so people would know that it's not a replacement for the first game. Koei started using "Z" to denote a game being combined with its expansion in a re-release, which they did for Sengoku Musou 3 Z on PS3 (Samurai Warriors 3 with the Xtreme Legends expansion). Musou Orochi Z combined WO1 and WO2 on PS3, which we unfortunately did not get here.

I can get behind BoTW being labeled under RPG. Sorta like a mini genre within the game that justifies putting it more places on the EShop for sales. But Twilight Princess and Wind Waker are a little silly, Nintendo. You don't even have changing outfits in WW. That's like, bar 1.

I’m sure someone’s already commented this, but Warriors Orochi 3 being labeled Warriors Orochi 2 in Japan isn’t a mistake. In Japan, the second Warriors Orochi game was called Warriors Orochi: Rebirth of the Demon Lord, whereas in the States, the same game was released as Warriors Orochi 2. So Warriors Orochi for the Wii U was called Warriors Orochi 3 in the US to match up with the numbering used here, and in Japan it was called Warriors Orochi 2 because I guess Rebirth of the Demon Lord didn’t count. I don’t know why they couldn’t still call it Warriors Orochi 3 in Japan, given that the two prior games had both released there. Weird choice, but that’s why.
I made a comment about this but seeing that you already commented it, I deleted mine. But the reasoning for the number difference was because Warriors Orochi 2 wasn't considering a sequel in Japan, but rather an expansion. They didn't use a "2" since they themselves didn't count it as a sequel, but given that the story content from WO1 isn't available in Maou Sairin, I'm guessing that's why Koei in North America changed it to a number, so people would know that it's not a replacement for the first game.
Koei started using "Z" to denote a game being combined with its expansion in a re-release, which they did for Sengoku Musou 3 Z on PS3 (Samurai Warriors 3 with the Xtreme Legends expansion). Musou Orochi Z combined WO1 and WO2 on PS3, which we unfortunately did not get here.
