Spent a lot of time on the washer with the OEM pre made hole but skipped over a lot over the custom made holes. Which is the most nerve racking part of customizing your own car
Any recommendations on how to get the metal shavings out of in between the metal of the trunk after drilling I got ton metal shavings I can’t get out they rattle and fall out every time I open and close my trunk
The trunk unlatches, but it's too heavy to raise on its own without you lifting it. You also have to be careful when closing it to avoid slamming down hard.
for some reason I don't trust just the foam tape to keep water from going inside my trunk, also when you drill the holes shouldn't you hit it with a primer or something to help prevent corrosion? Just seems so sloppy.
I think it’s funny how I follow along with this video just to personally find out that after drilling the first 2 holes that that shit isn’t even correct
@@iiishootgreenzz-_-7895sorry for not replying didn’t see it until now but I’ve done nothing. My wing has just been sitting in my room and I’ve gone to 5 shops to see if they could do it for me but none said yes cause they don’t want to be liable for the drilling part like my fuck up.
Lord that wing doesnt fit the car. Just look at how wide the body of the VB is compared to the wing and how narrow the wing is from the rear. It worked for the VA because the VA was boxier and the trunk was flatter but not this gen
After looking at pictures of the spoiler on the va, I don't see what you're talking about. The va has a wide body as well and has this same effect as the vb, it still looks good imo. If anything adding a wing on the vb makes more sense because it adds more color to balance out the large black bumper.
Everyone with a subie or wanting a subie complains about something. If you don't like it, then cool, don't get it. I remember when people used to actually appreciate the car scene, but now a days it's just a bunch of whining babies because they wanna be followers, not a leader
Yeah Subaru really fucked up with this body style and the no leather interior. I don’t enjoy the look of the new wrx I will take a VA over the new wrx any day of the week. 🤮 🤮 🤮

Any plans to make some plugs or covers to cover the bolts?
I really need to see these wings in person…
It's definitely better in person imo
3:41 What size are you drilling with the Step Bit???? y’all skipped it or something and it wasn’t mentioned….
AFD , do you guys think wrx vb panels on the car is wider than other Japanese car company ? Just some panels like A pillar and door gap seem off
Elite Wraps 😝🤩
Is it 5/16 drill bit for every hole?

Magnet
With the added weight, does the trunk pop up properly and stay up as it should?

Is the wing smaller the other competitors wing or is the same and is there any whistling sound coming from the wing?
Why is there a gap on the outside where the spoiler meets up with the trunk? Looks like it’s not seated all the way down on the trunk
its the thick gasket we use now to prevent any water getting in.
@@aeroflowdynamicsWouldn’t auto / marine RTV silicone sealant be much better than a stick on gasket?
What size did he stretch the top drill holes to after he drilled them through?
whatever is just big enough for the bolts to fit through. Not too big, I used silicone on the washers to seal around the holes.
@@ital1anstallion4That’s what I’ve been thinking. When I get mine in I’m definitely used some RTV silicone to seal it
When are the paint matched sideskirts coming out?
Summer!
do we use Alaranch to tight down the studs?
The template yall sent me doesn’t even match the holes on the wing .. so confused
What did you end up doing?? About to install this tomorrow, any tips? Seems like they skipped a lot of steps in this video….
How much to have the wing installed?
Any wing recommendations that don’t require drilling?
Duckbill is the only way!
Are all the V3's on the site updated? Or do I have to wait for it to come out?
Correct its updated already :)
Do you guys have a carbon fiber one?
Currently not at the moment! Sorry
Does it work for a 2024 Subaru

Same thing just happened to me, what did you end up doing to mount the wing?
Yeah fr . They don’t even match .
