It does! I was really surprised at how good the footage looks (photos too!) especially in low light indoors, such a big improvement compared to older 360 cameras I have used.
An alcoholic? Consider me having to go to AA then, because I drank like a fish on my first and only cruise! 😂 It’s vacation! How fun! Taking your dad for his first time! Happy birthday! 🎉
Thank you so much, and yes it’s a vacation and you should have fun and enjoy! 🥂 My dad had a great time and I’m sure he’ll be back for more cruises in the future! 🚢 Happy travels!
I've watched a few of your videos while using my TV so I couldn't comment. I enjoy your videos. I've always kind of wanted to go on a cruise but I'm not really much of a people person haha. I probably just enjoy getting a balcony room and sitting out there drinking and being left alone.
Thank you, I think you’d still have a really good time. It’s pretty easy to keep to yourself or talk to strangers, whatever you’re more comfortable with.
Hey Jeff. I hope all is well. Gee that ship looks so large. I think that I would feel lost. I just did my first solo cruise in September on Virgin Voyages celebrating my birthday and retirement. Looking to do another solo soon. It looks like you and your dad had fun.
Hi Melanie! I’m doing great and hope you are as well, how was your cruise?! I also took another solo cruise last week on MSC, a great deal and I had a lot of fun although they cancelled the private island stop due to the wind which was sad. My dad loved it so much he already brought my mom on two cruises since then, they are big fans of cruising now too!
What did you call the sprinkles on the ice cream? It is pronounced Skooner. This ship is almost too big. I sailed with Holland America on a very small ship. But not as many activities so maybe have to put it on my bucket list. Thank you for the video.
They’re jimmies! 🤣 I think it’s a New England thing, we don’t call them sprinkles. My favorite ships are Virgin Voyages, I love how everything is included and the ships are a good size.
I wanted to give you a heads-up. Many of the workers you’ll encounter on cruise ships are not directly employed by the cruise lines but are instead hired as contractors, often through agencies. While their wages may be higher compared to the average earnings in their home countries, these roles often come with demanding schedules, minimal rest, and less-than-ideal working conditions. Additionally, their employment is precarious, and less than stellar performance reviews ( "inconsistent bar service") can jeopardize their jobs. This harsh reality-characterized by long hours, little sleep, cramped quarters, and the disposable nature of their positions-is not widely known to outsiders. Please be careful with the critiques.
I’m very much aware of all that and I always give all 10s for the service/crew in the surveys and leave a lot of additional tips. Most of the staff I encounter on every cruise are genuinely very happy and incredibly talented at what they do, they often have had many contracts with the same company. The bar service is important especially when they’re selling $14 cocktails and a very expensive drinks package. I didn’t call out anyone specifically so no one’s job is at jeopardy, it’s really a training issue. I’m always going to give my honest and unbiased opinion. However, when someone entered my room at 5am on MSC I sure did report that to security because that is completely unacceptable.
This deserves more views bro. Keep it up you 🙏
Thank you, I really appreciate the kind words!
wow, the Insta360 footage looks great

Amazing review! It’s very similar to Oasis. As always you do a great job!
Thank you so much! Now we just have to convince my mom to go on the next one! 🤣
The Insta360 camera seems a great and only solution to film oneself on the cruise
It’s really awesome, I’ve been using it a lot!
