The one thing that I learned while being certified for Safe Serve certification is that a LOT of people do NOT know how to effectively wash their hands. We did a demo using a florescent 'virus." Out of 7 people, only one had clean hands, and even then just barely. The WORST performer - hand sanitizer.
Honestly, cruiseliners require their customers to wash their hand with a warm water and soap, but a large numers of customers are ignorant and stupid not to follow that simple request.
A question, having never been on a cruise, do they make it easy to wash your hands? I go on a tutored holiday course every year which is at a school. We all have to queue up for food in the canteen. The school talk the big talk about various things, but they don’t make anything easy, such as a sensible place with good traffic flow for efficient hand washing. So people don’t. To got to the nearest sink you have to back track through multiple doors, none of which open without your touch, all are tight to manoeuvre through and we’re all carrying equipment, and then lots of the sinks/soaps are often out of order. When you have a cello or bassoon and a music case strapped to you…….
Just a little tip for anyone who might not know: *Hand sanitizer does not do anything whatsoever to prevent Norovirus.* What is needed is a 20-second hand wash when you enter the buffet, and then once again right after you’ve gone through the buffet, just before sitting down to eat. Thats my ritual, and so far, it’s kept me pretty healthy.
Why not just wash your paws after you scoop your food onto the plate but before eating. Seems like you're doing double the work for no benefit. Doing it right before eating is the best remedy for not getting sick.

We had friends on a regular driving vacation get norovirus, one of them fainted from dehydration (because 🤮💩🤮💩) and cut his head and ended up in the emergency room! So it definitely isn’t only a cruise thing and it can be dangerous too.
Finally P&O making people wash their hands. It was a big disappointment when we were on Iona to notice that only 1 in 20 washed their hands. Not sure how it affects the chances but it makes me feel better that it's encouraged on Royal.
Great video - I hope they let people know that hand sanitiser cannot kill norovirus - only hand washing can. Otherwise people might be lulled into a false sense of security and not wash their hands as regularly as they should... norovirus is AWFUL.
And I just learned this - but even hand washing won’t kill norovirus, it just removes it from your hands. You would have to use dangerously hot water when washing to actually kill it.
Thanks for sharing. I just came back from a cruise on an older cruise ship (that did NOT have sinks leading into the buffet) where the cruise line had an employee squirting hand sanitizer into everyone's hands as they entered the buffet.
Just got back from an Alaskan cruise and picked up a horrible chest cold. Doc said it was probably the big C 19 but since it had been over a week and a half he just let it run its course. Everyone on the plane was sneezing and coughing, both going and coming. The joys of traveling. I haven’t been sick in years either.
This is why we won’t go again anytime soon. Went on a cruise and my three children all got a bug passing from one to the other. So did Grandad. It was P&O too and clearly significant amount of illness on the ship. I’ve seen on the P&o communities quite frequent delayed embarkation over the last year. We won’t be going for a while and cancelling our fjords cruise next August. Our kids are young and my one year old had a very high fever for a week after our cruise and had to be seen at urgent care. Poor kids!
Canadian here: I also can't stand "sitting on the floor" bathtubs. When I finally owned my own place and had the money to reno my bathroom, I found a refurbished cast iron tub up on lion claw "legs" at a salvage place. It took 7 burly guys to haul it up the stairs and get it into place. Finally no more baths on the floor!
Hi Emma. We went on an 18 night cruise on Aurora in April. By the end of the second week, there were a huge amount of passengers with Norovirus (my wife included). I can’t imagine all those people were suffering from over indulgence, but rather virus germs passed on by people not washing their hands. We saw evidence of this all around the ship - in the public toilets, the restaurants and most noticeably in the Buffet. It was quite disgusting. We certainly don’t want to go on Aurora again. Pity really, as she is a beautiful little ship.
I really like the size and traditional feel of that ship. It sounds like they handled the viral infection (if it existed) very well. Hand sanitizers are iffy, though, because they get people to use them instead of washing their hands, which is way more effective. Emma, you know I love your dresses, and the cut on the blue sparkly is killer, but we didn't really get to see it sparkle!
Hi Emma. Good to have you back. I always get flu/cold type symptoms by the last day when stay in an interior room so tend to get balconies since 2016. Looks like a beautiful ship and you my dear look amazing. Thanks for sharing 🤩
considering a lot of people dont freaking wash their hands or cover their mouth while coughing. plus how some people want to "touch" everything also doesn't help keep cruses clean lols
I was on a Holland America sailing back in April, and I witnessed one woman do an open-air sneeze without covering her mouth. Just turned her head and let it all out for everyone to breathe in. No courtesy or thoughtfulness on her part. Positively ridiculous. She should have been escorted off the ship at the nearest port for negligent behavior like that. Nevertheless, almost the entire ship came down with COVID about a day before disembarkation. Probably not because of her, but definitely due to that kind of negligence among many of the other passengers.
Hi Emma, really love the idea of adopting a inside cabin buddy. We always have a balcony cabin and it would be nice to share the outdoor space with someone who doesn't have it. Loving your videos 😍
I like the look of this ship and think the size is quite nice. Looks like you had a great time too. I caught Norovirus back at the end of April, and it could have been from subway, the office or where I got my takeout lunch. It hit in a matter of hours, so I agree. It's far more prevalent on land. And yes, I, too, get sick all the time being in the office and on transit.
When I first started hearing about P&O Cruises on Emma's videos, I thought it was a French name like "Piennot" or something. I had to see a picture of the company logo to understand. 😂
The dangling strings are for the TV mount. At the bottom the TV will be attached with a couple screws on springs. You’ll be able to pull down on the strings and then pull the TV forward from the bottom to lift it off the mount!
There was a stomach bug going round on iona in november too, for the last week or so of a 2 week trip everyone had to wash their hands when entering and leaving food areas plus there was hand sanitiser for other parts of the ship including when we entered or left the ship. They deal with it well but it seems to happen quite often.
I glad you was informed I went on one P.O I was so ill I never ever go on cruise again, I never have gone if I knew it was on the ship ! They had Malta officials on and had it the week before, it was truly unpleasant ! I was ill for 11 out of the 14 days and with a very friend who had no empathy, until he had it on the way home ! Think he found it not nice
Beautiful little cruise ship it does have an older interior but I like that style... You did a nice tour and I enjoyed it thanks for sharing and you look stunningly beautiful, and glamorous in a dress Emma...
A delay is when your ship moves away from the dock, move forward a bit, then stops, the backs up and redocks, and instead of setting sail at 1500 you leave 12 hours later at 0300. We lost one stop which was a spot owned by the cruise line and which others have said is so-so. I nver once thought about asking for compensation because we stopped at all the places we were supposed to and even got extra time in the morning at our first stop. But then again, some people will complain at the drop of a hat and will try and grift at every opportunity.
Really well explained. Always love the shots of the different venues and outdoor areas. This ship looks great despite its age and aspects of style. I am now considering. Do wish they would stop self-serve food though, I’ve seen some very germ spreading behaviour in buffets.
@@adelebrown1861 technically true, but not so much, there are plenty of self serve food and the food court ‘the Galley’ is effectively a semi-buffet where everything isn’t all served to you - most, but not all.
Great review Emma, we were also on the same cruise 🚢 I was a tad too shy to come and say hello when we saw you and mum in Champions bar 😂 - we were on the Gin, not the Pepsi haha. Hope to bump into you on a future cruise, keep up the awesome vlogs! Happy cruising 🚢
Hi Miss Emma. There are certain items that one should look askance at when it comes to the media, yes?? I love those older ships. Lots of open deck space. But modern at the same time. Give me a clear sky, a deck chair, high on the ship, in the middle of the night, and some hot chocolate, and "Leave Me Be !!" The Big "C" marched through our home in the last two weeks. I'm glad the cruise was a success, and you did not feed the dragon and the drama !!
Great video Emma. The dangly bits hanging from the TV is the release pull straps to take the TV off the mount. When I install TV"s I always tuck them up and out of the way.
During our recent cruise to Norway on Anthem Of The Seas we were angry that so many people seemed proud that they managed to slip past the hand wash station without washing their hands 🤢🤮😥
Same thing on our Norwegian cruise in 2019 on P and O, people seemed to be more interested in rushing out of the bathroom... back to their drinks on a sea day, than washing their hands.
@@kendrawaterbury2328 Totally agree. The cruise companies must ensure passengers cannot enter the buffet, or dinning rooms, without properly washing their hands 🚰🧴👋
G’day Emma, my missus & I recently went on a P&O cruise from Sydney to Cairns & back & it’s put me off cruising due to the reason the food was mediocre unless one paid for it & 6 out of 8 days were spent at sea. Next holiday’s we’ll fly & stay as it works out cheaper & better. We still love the concept of cruising but we’ll seek a better line in the future
Aurora was the main ship that I worked on for my 12 years working at sea, she is a 2nd home for me and always felt so comfortable, happy and homely. It will be a sad day for me when she is decommissioned.
I was on Aurora's maiden voyage, the one that broke down in the Bay of Biscay 😂 Everything was handled brilliantly, but that was long before Carnival got hold of the company.
We were aboard Carnival Horizon when the word came down post-COVID that the crew were finally allowed to work without masks...and they were jubilant, and we were happy for them. We had made friends with our female dining-room server and that night, when she arrived NOT wearing a mask, we all pretended not to know who she was...until my friend John playfully held a cloth napkin up to her face. "Oh, THERE she is!" That was fun, and she LOVED it. :)
Hi Emma, great video. We love older smaller ships and this one looks perfect. You couldn't get me on the new huge ships. Glad you didn't get sick. We sailed on a Royal ship that did have a Noro virus outbreak. About 100 got sick but we were careful and had no issues. Staff started enhanced cleaning and buffet went to staff service. I thought Royal did a great job. Of course delaying embarkation was the correct call and understandable. Thought the complaints was an American thing, sorry to hear you have it to.
Hi Emma, Really glad you enjoyed your stay thank you so much for sharing your experience I am new to your channel so love to hear all about your journey all the best Lin 💖👍
another enjoyable watch, thank you Ema, tub for me is the sink in the wash house i liked the carpets and decore on this ship. much more intersesting than newer ships
We wash hands to help stop the spread and we also wear a glove to handle the serving utensils at the buffet, started this before Covid and continues today.
The dangle strings from behind the TV set is a "latch release" so that you can pull the TV out slightly to reach the input/output ports. Normally, they are hidden up behind the set.
God, I am living the whole "people jump to stomach bug too quickly" scenario at the moment. All my kids have managed to make themselves nauseous every couple nights for like 3 weeks straight now and it's so frustrating and annoying when they'll be "sick" in the morning but cutting up and goofing off as soon as they miss the school bus.
The only thing that would convince our mum to keep us home from school was a fever or actual vomiting - just whining that we didn’t feel well fell on deaf ears! Once when she was off on a trip we fooled our dad into letting us stay home by holding the thermometer near a light bulb.
As a retired teacher of over 3 decades of experience, it used to drive me crazy when parents would say (in front of their kiddos), "He's not been feeling well this morning, so call me to pick him up if you need to." YUP! Just take him now. Otherwise, the child was fine after a few minutes with friends.
My mom had a firm rule. If we complained we were have stomach troubles in order to stay home, we had to swallow two cap fulls of Pepto Bismal Liquid. She knew we hated it so much that we would only swallow it if we were truly sick. The number of miraculous recoveries on my brothers was legendary. On the other hand we had it lucky. My dad's family lived with his grandmother and she always had a large bottle of cod liver oil on the sideboard and any child, grandchild or great grandchild that complained about their tummy had to swallow 2 big spoonfuls of it.
I was on this cruise and I even saw you and other youtubers onboard. Prior to aurora the smallest ship I had been on was ventura (biggest is msc virtuosa) and I actually found aurora an absolute pleasure. Off on celebrity apex on Friday (ironic as she followed us to bruges on the aurora cruise) will be interesting to compare. Also: PURPLE COW 🐄 🐄
Im a former cruise ship staff member. While on duty i recall how often people would bypass the bathrooms and santizer at the entrances to the buffet. Thing is, it doesnt take long to wash your hands or even sanitize your hands but people simply dont. Norovirus outbteaks are way too comon sadly.
Yea on Arcadia they have a crew member stationed to make sure you wash your hands when the had this gastro bug going around last month if you didn’t had to leave it only takes 20 seconds.
Elo ema , the aurora is a beautiful ship, whith living rooms like Titanic. You make good movies from the ships that you travel. The Orianna is simeler. Good holiday for you , and the best travel . 😊
We traveled on Aurora in November to Amsterdam. The ship was very full. They were encouraging people to use the hand sanitizer or to wash hands before entering the buffet, but if someone thought they knew better they could have just walked through. Even though I hadn’t heard of any issues before our trip. I made sure that we also sanitised our hands once we sat down with our food as I have cruised before, and it is just something that I am mindful of. We did enjoy our time on the ship, I loved the Crow’s Nest too, but it was very busy as the weather was very cold, so people were reluctant to go outside for the sail away.
She looks a lovely old ship. It never fails to amaze me how often passengers want compensation for things that the cruise line simply had no control over.
Was on that ship last year, beautiful ship had a lovely cruise. Did you see the "Golden Cock" near guest services. Its the P&O trophy for the ship with the fastest recorded speed in the fleet!
We went on this ship over 15 years ago for a short weekend sail to Bruges. It was our first and last cruise. Within 12 hrs I fell very sick and it was clear that many other people were the same. Our toilet was blocked and all of the public toilets had the same problem, all were blocked and disgusting. There were maintenance people trying to unblock pipes within the ceilings in many corridors. What shocked me was that the ship was due to cruise a day after we disembarked for two weeks break, when there was clearly a serious issue. Was expecting a full refund but only got a voucher for 50% back.
I was on Aurora about a month ago we boarded fine, all aboard time was 3.30. There was a sail away party scheduled at 5.30. At six we were still sat at Southampton they finally made an an announcement, one of the buses bringing passengers had broken down and they had to get a new bus. They wouldn't arrive until 6:30 so we had missed our departure time and we wouldn't be departing until 9:30. We were going to Norway and Iceland. One of the stops in Norway we went on P&O organised excursion and we made toilet stop and ended up staying in a carpark as two bolts had shorn off the wheel and we had to wait for another bus. The excursion involved lunch - the only food was salmon, with a few new potatoes and what was supposed to be panacotta (which turned out to be a pile of cream with sour berries) - half the group didn't eat salmon and there were several vegeterains and vegan people who didn't get anything for lunch. I ate two potatoes. The trip was supposed to go to a huge waterfall and a museum we got to do neither. We had a quick stop at an old church as we had to a 90 minute drive back to the ship. About 20 minutes away from the ship at about the all aboard time the guide decided we needed to stop at the top of the mountain for a bathroom break for 20 minutes. We got back to the ship 40 minutes after all aboard time. The rest of Norway was fine, but then we get to Iceland. We sail all the way to Akureyi port only for them to make an announcement that it was too windy to dock and we would be missing the port and having a sea day. Fine it happens. We were supposed to sail to the next port over night and 6 hours later they announced it would be too windy to dock there too so we would have another sea day. So we spent three days go 10 knots just to kill time. The rest of the ports were fine. As for the entertainment, I don't drink so I didn't want to spend time in the bars. Most of the entertainment just felt boring so I didn't bother going, except to one show in Carmens where the drummer drowned out the singers and guitarist so much you could barely make out what the song was supposed to be. (I've been on the Aururoa before and most of the shows I saw in the Curzon were awful especially a pantomime - my nieces school production was better). So I spent most of my nights in my room reading as the TV selection is awful and you have no idea what anything is anyway. As far as I am aware no-body got sick. I think that was the week after us that got sick. People were santising their hands before eating in the buffet. On my previous trip they put up the menu for the day so you knew what the food was going to be so you could plan ahead this time you had to stand in the queue to see if you would actually eat and of the hot mealsl. They also kept closing off parts of the buffet to replace the floor which made the open parts crowded.
Do you think they did the right thing delaying embarkation to clean? Personally, I'd much prefer a cleaner ship for a little less time! 🧼

We had friends on a regular driving vacation get norovirus, one of them fainted from dehydration (because 🤮💩🤮💩) and cut his head and ended up in the emergency room! So it definitely isn’t only a cruise thing and it can be dangerous too.
Oh noo!!!! ❤❤❤
Never cruised, probably never will, but I love watching your videos Emma!
Hand washing removes the virus by washing it off. It does not kill it.
Ahh yes travelling it’s always a risk, hope you are on the mend! ❤
girl your formal look was FIREEEEE that dress looked so good!!!
Poor kids!
So nice to see Captain Hudson in the bath.❤
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I NEVER miss an emma cruises video
Thanks so much 🥹❤️
I'm also so impressed with your videos. Your narration is so smooth and your editing is superb. I know this takes a lot of work and we appreciate it.
Yess!!!!! ❤❤❤❤
I guess I don't understand the difference, other than appearance.
Awh that’s such a shame!! ❤❤
ew
honestly who doesnt wash their hands after going to the loo, that is just gross
What people don’t realize is that norovirus hangs out in the air for a bit after they’ve vomited. So it can be transferred that way too.
@@NIckyFromDunedin in disabled and it annoys me when I see people going past the hand washing
I was shocked at the number of people who neither washed their hands or sanitised on entering the buffet on my last cruise
Haha, Thank you! 😁❤️
Hi Emma. Good to have you back. I always get flu/cold type symptoms by the last day when stay in an interior room so tend to get balconies since 2016. Looks like a beautiful ship and you my dear look amazing. Thanks for sharing 🤩
Oh yes I think the inside cabin air con is often dry 😂❤ Thank you! 😁❤️
considering a lot of people dont freaking wash their hands or cover their mouth while coughing. plus how some people want to "touch" everything also doesn't help keep cruses clean lols
People are absolutely the weak link in this 😂❤🎉
Cruises would be a lot less hassle without humans, honestly!
On NLCJoy , seen people walk by the sick , staff was 🎶 singing to wash your hands but people ignored them .
Welcome back,
Emma! We missed your regular posts! Stay well and strong!
Thank you! 😁❤️
Thanks for this and all your videos Emma! You’re just getting better and better! Love the ship tours, and especially the room visits.
You’re so kind, appreciate you!! ❤❤
Thank you; the Aurora looks like exactly what would be my favorite ship! I like its character.
Me too!! ❤❤
I love your comment that cruises are like a parallel universe. That sums it up perfectly!
Emma is the Queen of....what's the word I am looking for?....you know what I mean! Thanks a lot fo all you do for us cruisers!🥰
Absolutely loved this beautiful traditional cruise ship. The walk around deck was great. We did the Norwegian fjords'
Thanks Emma, living vicariously through you 😊. The ship looks like me, a grand dam (dame). Loved the video ❤
Emma, you always do such a nice job showing us all around! Very entertaining and informative! Rally like tagging along! [Greetings from Tucson]
Hey hey! Thanks for following along with my cruise, really appreciate it 😀❤️
When I first started hearing about P&O Cruises on Emma's videos, I thought it was a French name like "Piennot" or something. I had to see a picture of the company logo to understand. 😂
Ha ha, usually piano is what comes up! :')
The dangling strings are for the TV mount. At the bottom the TV will be attached with a couple screws on springs. You’ll be able to pull down on the strings and then pull the TV forward from the bottom to lift it off the mount!
Gotcha!!! 😂❤🎉
That blue dress was gorgeous!!
"Cruise ships feel like this magical parallel world", - love it 🙂
There was a stomach bug going round on iona in november too, for the last week or so of a 2 week trip everyone had to wash their hands when entering and leaving food areas plus there was hand sanitiser for other parts of the ship including when we entered or left the ship.
Thanks so much 🥹❤️
Having been on our first cruise last week (RC Ovation of the Seas to Alaska) I definitely get the "another world" point!
Did that ship have sinks as you entered the buffet (and an amusing enforcing employee) or did they just use hand sanitizer?
@@mikebarnes2294 If I remember correctly both.
So true!! Thanks for watching 😀👏🏼
Really well explained. Always love the shots of the different venues and outdoor areas. This ship looks great despite its age and aspects of style. I am now considering. Do wish they would stop self-serve food though, I’ve seen some very germ spreading behaviour in buffets.
Thanks so much 🎉❤
Virgin voyages has restaurants rather than a big buffet!
@@adelebrown1861 technically true, but not so much, there are plenty of self serve food and the food court ‘the Galley’ is effectively a semi-buffet where everything isn’t all served to you - most, but not all.
Great review Emma, we were also on the same cruise 🚢
I was a tad too shy to come and say hello when we saw you and mum in Champions bar 😂 - we were on the Gin, not the Pepsi haha.
Hope to bump into you on a future cruise, keep up the awesome vlogs!
Happy cruising 🚢
Oh please don’t ever feel shy I’m way more scared of people than them of me haha!! Hope you had the best time ❤❤❤
Hi Miss Emma.
I enjoyed this video. Love the smaller ships
Thanks so much Amy!! Thanks for watching 😀👏🏼
Great video Emma. The dangly bits hanging from the TV is the release pull straps to take the TV off the mount. When I install TV"s I always tuck them up and out of the way.
If there’s a stomach bug going around there’s no way I’m getting into that pool 🤣 y’all were brave, glad everyone was ok.
You looked very elegant in your formal night dress! I really like that some cruise lines maintain proper formal nights/areas 😊
During our recent cruise to Norway on Anthem Of The Seas we were angry that so many people seemed proud that they managed to slip past the hand wash station without washing their hands 🤢🤮😥
Gross. 😷
🤬
I was on Aurora's maiden voyage, the one that broke down in the Bay of Biscay 😂
Everything was handled brilliantly, but that was long before Carnival got hold of the company.
Your content is so uplifting, as well as informative. Always time well spent watching - thanks Emma!
Thank you so much you are very kind!
Another interesting video. Thank you Emma. Greetings from Norway 🇳🇴
Your vlogs are always very informative and your presentations are always very entertaining! I love it! Thank you! 😎😎😎😎
Hahaha 😂😂😂
Hi Emma, great video. We love older smaller ships and this one looks perfect. You couldn't get me on the new huge ships. Glad you didn't get sick. We sailed on a Royal ship that did have a Noro virus outbreak. About 100 got sick but we were careful and had no issues. Staff started enhanced cleaning and buffet went to staff service. I thought Royal did a great job. Of course delaying embarkation was the correct call and understandable. Thought the complaints was an American thing, sorry to hear you have it to.
You make that sparkly blue dress look spectacular!
I know what the strings r for!!!! I have them on my tv mount. U can pull them to adjust the angle of the tv on its mount!
Hi Emma, Really glad you enjoyed your stay thank you so much for sharing your experience I am new to your channel so love to hear all about your journey all the best Lin 💖👍
Thanks lots Lin ❤❤
another enjoyable watch, thank you Ema, tub for me is the sink in the wash house
i liked the carpets and decore on this ship. much more intersesting than newer ships
Thanks so much!! ❤❤
I have been eagerly waiting for you to take a cruise on this ship, it's one I have been looking into cruising on
We wash hands to help stop the spread and we also wear a glove to handle the serving utensils at the buffet, started this before Covid and continues today.
🎉❤
Love your content Emma, so glad to see this pop up! Xx
Thanks for watching 😀👏🏼
The dangle strings from behind the TV set is a "latch release" so that you can pull the TV out slightly to reach the input/output ports. Normally, they are hidden up behind the set.
God, I am living the whole "people jump to stomach bug too quickly" scenario at the moment. All my kids have managed to make themselves nauseous every couple nights for like 3 weeks straight now and it's so frustrating and annoying when they'll be "sick" in the morning but cutting up and goofing off as soon as they miss the school bus.
😂😂😂😂
Glad to see you back. Woo for the Pepsi on board. Such a pretty ship.
I live my dream cruise life threw you, great video 😊
Sad we seen this too , last night before going home I felt sick , next day home test was positive for Covid . Home almost 2 weeks and still sick .
I love the self serv laundries. I wish that they were on all ships
Great Video Em! I loved this cruise with you all!
I heard somebody once wanting a refund because the carpet in his cabin smelt of perfume? 😂❤
If Captain Hudson doesn't get sick, then that ship is clean. I trust Captain Hudson.
❤
Captain Hudson has been dropped in muddy puddles even and doesn’t get sick 😂😂😂
What a gorgeous ship! I'd like something like that for my first cruise.
Was on that ship last year, beautiful ship had a lovely cruise. Did you see the "Golden Cock" near guest services. Its the P&O trophy for the ship with the fastest recorded speed in the fleet!
That Yorkshire and roast beef. Mmmm delicious. Emma love your vlogs.
Thank you! 😁❤️
It’s the best day Emma post just got started with the cruise port a few days ago can’t wait to see how you like it Emma thank you
You'll have to get yourself on the Arcadia after it's refit this year.
And then do a ship review for everyone :-)
Wonderful tour!! Appreciate your tours
Aurora looks wonderful and beautiful 🩵🩵🌺🌺🩵🌞🌞🌞🌊🩵🌺🌺🌺🩵🛳️🛳️
Thanks for watching 😀👏🏼
We went on this ship over 15 years ago for a short weekend sail to Bruges. It was our first and last cruise. Within 12 hrs I fell very sick and it was clear that many other people were the same. Our toilet was blocked and all of the public toilets had the same problem, all were blocked and disgusting. There were maintenance people trying to unblock pipes within the ceilings in many corridors. What shocked me was that the ship was due to cruise a day after we disembarked for two weeks break, when there was clearly a serious issue.
Was expecting a full refund but only got a voucher for 50% back.
What a lovely ship! It reminds me of a Fred Olsen ship but a bit bigger. Love that aft! 🎉
Yeeessss, feels similar! ❤
