Great collection mate. The SS helmet you showed 22:33 however appears to be a post war made m40/55 finnish helmet (Or something similar to that nature) Deftinaly post war made though. As much as I would have liked my collection this size, The Australian government has now placed new law banning all sale and trade with any German marked with swas.. So most collecting in Australia is done. Kind regards
Some really great items there ... many things that just do not come up for sale anymore... Only thing I would comment on is don't add stickers type on items ( I would make effort to remove them )
@kennethreese4659 If they heated warmed up with hairdryer they should become tacky again and come off ... those labels used to be everywhere when those machines first came out Best regards
Love your video I was curious my father lost both his sisters in death camps he passed when I was six I’ve heard many a story from my mom would you consider donate one of your items I ve always wanted a souvenir of our ancestor executioners I know it sounds morbid or whatever I don’t care but would you seriously consider it I can’t find this stuff anywhere and when I do it’s so expensive I know it’s my problem anyway again awesome collection and museum great video I’m gona watch it again lol 😝 thank you for sharing
Nice video. Its great to see all the memorabilia but I have to say I'm a little shocked at the condition of most of the items. Literally every visor, jacket, flag, uniform or armband I saw was full of moth holes and covered in dust. The swords were dirty and the daggers were in a poor state. This is not how you care for memorabilia of historical significance. The uniforms were hanging on wire coat hangers which you should never do. There is a reason uniforms are never displayed and stored on hangars. It ruins them and they loose their form. Does your friend not understand this or does he need help? You really should educate him that if he is going to display this he needs to conserve and preserve the collection. The room looked dirty. Very disappointing.
@@kennethreese4659 I hope he isnt using the museum and the items as an investment? No one is going to buy uniforms and visors eaten by moths or if they do it's going to be for a fraction of what they are worth. I've been collecting for 35 years and have several uniforms, visors, armbands and flags and they are in a room with environmental controls, dehumidifiers and zero light. They also get vacuumed once a month with a dedicated vacuum with a special clothing brush attachment. I've seen your collection on video and it appears you take good care of your items. Does your friend need help? I would be happy to take some time and help him clean up and do some mitigation services. I live in Indiana and so Gettyburg is 8 hour drive no problem. I hate to see these items further deteriorate.

Thank you. Trying to remove those stickers now will probably leave a mark or damage the item.

Great last few videos! Why did he use a label-maker on some items? You think it would damage the items’ value.
He put those labels on the items back in the 60's when he opened the museum. Guess he really didn't think about that back then.
