  • In this video, I review the 2nd Gen iPad Pro after the redesign to see whether it still holds up 3 years later. What are your thoughts, do you think this iPad is still a solid buy in 2023?

    My iPad Pro 2nd gen is almost 3 years old this coming Feb 2024, and it still works very well! I use it mainly for Procreate, TH-cam, Netflix, Notes, Zoom, and some Premiere rush for quick video editing and never have I ever experience lagging. The only downside is I noticed the battery isn’t as long lasting as it was 3 years ago, but overall it’s still a great machine in 2023

    I really agree with your perspective, I just bought it even though it is in used condition, but it is very satisfying in my opinion at a very low price with great storage. For me as a medical student, I think it is more than enough to use the iPad Pro 11 inch 2gen.

    I had a 10th gen iPad th-cam.com/users/postUgkxUGaHtKW8MwCql2fPyIm9-ftTqSMzKFFA . Felt it getting pretty slow at times even after doing a reset. So I am using that as a tablet for my 5 year old son and got this 9th gen version. MUCH faster, a little slimmer, smaller bezels, all around a leap forward. Plus, for the price that’s about $130-$150 cheaper than a current new model this is a nice deal. I look forward to the M-series CPUs coming into iPads which will really help future proof these tablets better but these latest CPUs are pretty strong and should do better to last several years with no compromises.

      The naming is kind of confusing. Overall this is actually the 4th gen iPad Pro, but Apple refers to it as the 2nd Gen iPad Pro because this is the 2nd with the new design. The first of the new design was the 2018 iPad Pro which had a single camera. Hope this clarified things.

  • @Incidental104
    @Incidental104 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I don't see any compelling reason to upgrade, even from the first generation. The M1 and M2 chips don't seem to offer a noticeable difference in day-to-day tasks or general iPad use. It appears Apple might have reached a plateau with iPad capabilities, and the main advantage of the iPad Pro over the Air seems to be the 120Hz screen - a feature the older Pro also has, making it a better value, in my opinion. To be fair, the demographic who actually needs an iPad for their daily routine, like doctors, students, pilots, etc., will always buy an iPad regardless of how much new innovation has been added or the price. iPad has no real competition, unlike iPhone, so Apple can do whatever they feel like with it. The budget iPads for kids will always exist, and parents will buy the cheapest possible option, ensuring that iPads will sell regardless. As long as there is a cheap model and a flagship model Apple will sell iPads.
