I came to NYC in 1989 at the age of 13 from Poland. I knew two English words, Thank you and Goodbye. I spent 32 years in NYC, I never moved anywhere else in the US. Covid destroyed the city. I am back in Poland, mom is getting old. SNL during your tenure dudes and gals, WAS THE BEST!!! I mean it. Thank you for the laughs. You will all be in my heart forever. Be well boys and girls of the best cast of SNL. Much love!
// Greetings from Sydney. I was 11 in 1989. HOW amazing + accomplished are all the new players + features during the last 10 years of SNL. it blows my mind.! The SNL alumni should be proud ( me thinks ) // Peace to Poland.!
I love that whole era of SNL. Late 80's to mid-90's. Not only were they all super funny but they all truly liked each other. On top of that they are all really great people. Very genuine.
Watching comedy and comedic podcasts has been my primary Great Guide through a man’s mind. I didn’t grow up with men around, it’s been so beneficial to have comedians like these make it so fun for me! It’s comedic medicine😹.
"We are (stand up comedians) the last of the speakers. The last of the thinkers". The last place we can hear people say their thoughts is thru stand up. Pretty true. That being said, we need a comedy revolution to take over the world. In this stage of history, with all the division, sickness, natural disasters and negative trends, we NEED comedians to take courage and step up and get us to laugh. It heals. Trade out the cancel coulture for a world where we can laugh at ourselves, our humanity. These guys taught me to laugh at myself daily and embrace the things we share in common (be it good or bad) - theres a profound unity to be found in comedy. Thank you David, Dana and Chris.
One of the best stand ups ever. All 3 of these guys are great. Dana C is probably one of the greatest sketch actors of all time along with Martin Short and Phil Hartman plus a few others. Kristen Wiig is in there too. Damon Wayans and Jim Carrey on ILC were great too. I like the funny!
Chris has integrated his shadow. He's fortunate to know what he's capable of. I think it's scarier not knowing. A great comedian. Absolutely great talk!
I recently saw Cris Rock walking around Washington Square Park in NYC with Lake Bell and he looked very happy. I’m glad for him, he’s in that time when he has a lot less to prove and he can lap up the love from his status. It’s interesting what Rock says about being comfortable with his anger when almost exactly one month later the Oscar slap happens and that statement gets the ultimate test. Of course, that was on stage in a professional environment so his reaction was perfectly understandable as his post incident comments.
Thank you Dana & David 😘 💸 'Fly on the Wall' is a absolutely fabulous podcast 💸 You're fantastic behind the scenes stories of SNL & comedy. A great interview with Chris Rock, he's is amazing 🤩 I didn't think I could love him anymore, & I just feel in love with Chris Rock all over again 😍 🤩Oh yes, I love you two, too. 😂 😉 😂
Wow. From David & Dana's introduction of Chris, I immediately thought, "this sounds just like the kind of guy I would slap in the face in front of millions of people for telling an innocent joke!" Big respect to the Rock! Nat X was my favorite.
Chris Rock is just like the both of you two...a brother from another mother in space and time. It's been a pleasure watching and evolving with all three of you. Peace! 🌱
One of the funniest one liners I ever heard Chris say was in an interview when he and Spade were doing an interview together promoting Grownups 2. He was asked "What's it like working with David" He said, " It's tough, David can bring the Skippy out in anybody"
I been waiting for Chris Rock to come on the show!! Awesome it finally happened!! Btw, is it me or is it hard to tell Dana's and Spade's voices apart?....LOL.
Lololol 😂😂😂 No! It's not you, I thought it was only me . 😂. I don't know when Dana's is taking.. I do hear David voice 😂 maybe I never heard is real voice 😂 a great podcast, 'I must say'. 💕 😂 😉 😂
Wow, another great podcast. Chris seems like such a nice guy, as you both do as well. I have to say I know a guy who worked at SNL when all you guys were there by the name of John Zonars. He was there for 18 years, I think he was assistant to GE Smith. He told me a story about Paul McCartney saving a show closing a tepid show with “Hey Jude”. Can you guys reflect back on some of the more memorable music acts?
Not to b dark…. stand up comedy saved my life a long time ago. Ik it’s hard work. Sometimes I hear comedians say, It’s not like it’s an important job. Maybe they’re in a lull or being humble, but yes it is. It’s important to so many ppl u will never meet. In nursing school, it was a 45 min ride to class & my bestie and I would listen to Rock’s standup CD. We knew every word, line, pause, tone, inflection (we did our best). We would look across the class and knowingly nod when the professor said something related to a subject that Chris had a joke on (prolly why we weren’t alone to sit together). Please y’all, don’t ever stop!
No matter what a podcast tells you... there's no sex in the champagne room. Chris has been a legend ever since I'm Gonna Get You Sucka and New Jack City. His standup is fantastic, his acting is top-notch and even his smaller roles can leave me quoting him for the rest of my life. Thanks for this and ALL the other interviews.
Great interview. One note for Rock: people listen to people other than comedians. There are noteworthy academics and authors that speak as well. But for the masses… yeah, definitely comedians
Danas natural voice has qualities of all the characters/impersonations he does. Especially Dennis Miller. It’s like he just has to isolate those qualities to access the different characters.
I would rather watch them on mute start to finish. Every time. Than to listen with no video. Looking at latex covered drywall or stare at the still image. Or try to sleep all bad. The heat stems from my desire to watch these podcasts repeatedly and abundantly far and above all 3 dozen podcasts I watch. I would watch these daily. Love this cast. Spade has been mine and my sisters favorite comedian actor personality etc from SNL to present day. You were a common topic revisited every year at some point. Spade you have this thing about you where you could have comedy shows but just walk around. Talking and thinking out loud. Making noises. 😂 Dana's the same. Won me over on master of disguise and that intro to you led me to seek your stuff out Yalls guest list is top tier. That equals more desire for video. A lot of these iconic people's aren't really anywhere else out here or doing things with other simpletons ruining it. Lol let's go men. Get that money! .
Boys, if you want this channel to be successful, start shooting video. It's a waste of your physical talents and it's a more engrossing experience to see the interpersonal back and forth.
Don’t listen to these dummies. Bill Burr has one of the most successful and longest running non-video podcasts going. Why do I need to watch people talking?
Another great guest , but I totally agree with the comment below , I’d love to see this in video . Titus does video now he started this way .. I love the video more !
I am a huge fan of this podcast and have listened to every episode multiple times. I only wish that the language was not R rated. All the comedy and fun here would be even better without it. Love you guys
When Chris goes to the small club to try out new material I think this would be a good introduction. Ladies and gentlemen I'd like to introduce you to Chris. "The women know him as Chris Rock Hard."
these podcast are great, I literally felt like a fly on the wall but with no freaking eyes. these podcast would be gold if you just included the visual aspect. I guess maybe you are trying to keep the original concept of a podcast but c'mon, we are in the future where technology makes it easy to include all the features media has to offer. A visual of the individual is always much better than just the audio.

If you would film these interviews this would became one if the biggest podcasts. Incredible guests and interviews.
agreed
I often admire Dana admiring The Rock. Love them and their podcast. SNL stories never get old. The best ERA!
i feel so lucky to hear this for free! thanks for the content from such legends
Chris Rock has always been one of my favorite SNL cast members.
We need video! This is best podcast in the world and there’s no video! Cmon guys! This is borderline sacrilegious!
I love that whole era of SNL. Late 80's to mid-90's. Not only were they all super funny but they all truly liked each other. On top of that they are all really great people. Very genuine.

I saw him live in Orlando recently.😉 What a great stand up and down to earth human being.🥰
Always loved Rock, but Chris is a treasure. Just a top notch professional, and after that “incident “, he became legend.
He isn’t slim slady/ MM/ MM

This might be the deepest of these podcasts I've seen so far. Rock is quite the philosopher. Really makes you think.
Thank you Dana & David 😘

A great interview with Chris Rock, he's is amazing 🤩 I didn't think I could love him anymore, & I just feel in love with Chris Rock all over again 😍 🤩Oh yes, I love you two, too. 😂 😉 😂
I always think of Chris as confident and loud. Funny and commands the room. To hear he was quiet when he was interesting.
Piece of advice for Mr. Carvey and Mr. Spade: let your guests talk without interrupting. 😉
Wow. From David & Dana's introduction of Chris, I immediately thought, "this sounds just like the kind of guy I would slap in the face in front of millions of people for telling an innocent joke!" Big respect to the Rock! Nat X was my favorite.

Agree!
Boys, thanks for another great episode! I really enjoy setting my phone aside and just listening. Cheers!

Love ❤️ you guys, made me laugh for so many years and I enjoy this show! You guys are the best!
Dana, please give the guest chat more. I totally was bummed out with you talking over their stories. Especially with the sandman.
Fun, guys - thank you! 💜 Love all 3.
Thank you for posting all the great interviews on your channel .
Stoked, hopefully this keeps going.
Love Chris Rock ❤💙
Rock has class!!
48:17 "A comic who travels with the same hour for twenty years." AKA Bobby Lee.
Chris Rock doesn’t realize he’s so handsome, and let’s women exploit him?! He’s too good for that: funny , decent, hardworking. He deserves an adult.
I love looking forward to my pods every day of the week. Take a page outta some other books. You guys rock! Bye mommy, Thanks Jeans

19:06 listen hard for Rock’s X-Men reference… love it!

I think he meant the masses. Noam Chomsky doesn't pack in The Garden.

I get it.
Please film these episodes. We want Video.
Fun, fun, fun, guys! Thanks! 💖
this should be on tv
You three elevate the Stern show as guests.
This photo of Chris is amazing...handsome guy

I agree! I only WATCH podcasts on TH-cam. I cant stand, not seeing people's, especially comedians, faces!
It’s true.
If you hear a fly, on your wall (presumably)
But no one sees it…was it ever even there!?
Don’t listen to these dummies. Bill Burr has one of the most successful and longest running non-video podcasts going. Why do I need to watch people talking?
They prob rec remotely from their mansions
I just like listening
Going to see Dana the end of this month! Can’t wait 🎃
Another great guest , but I totally agree with the comment below , I’d love to see this in video . Titus does video now he started this way .. I love the video more !
I'm loving this podcast!! Such great guest and behind the scene stories from SNL! Love it!!
Definitely need to video these Pod Cast
Please shoot video for these.
Yes HD video would be fantastic 👌!
Good show. Dana's audio level is too low. Still Great stuff.
Great show!
I am a huge fan of this podcast and have listened to every episode multiple times. I only wish that the language was not R rated. All the comedy and fun here would be even better without it. Love you guys
Chris Rock knows baseball.
Chris Rock is brilliant.
Love this guy! ❤

Yes, DO VIDEO! ❤. Yes I know it’s a podcast, BUT? Great therapy stuff!
Why isn’t this a video podcast?
Fleeing that Bob Hope moment.
Wow. Is this actually the real deal? Did you just start the channel? This is a great line-up.
this youtube channel was just started, their podcasts are on spotify, this Chris Rock episode is from January
is there a video of this available? man i'd love to see chris rock in this episode
Why Dana stepped all over David's shark story, lol? I wanted the rest
When I first met Carvey, standing in his kitchen, I damn near fainted.
Grownups was excellent!
They need a post slap interview with Chris.
2 months after this the slap heard round the world happened. Chris kept a level head and kept on with the show, respect.
29:25 - Guess we know what Chris was thinking after that Will Smith slap
Beautiful 👍
Please give the guest a decent microphone! Send it in the mail.
Love this podcast. Bakersfield Today, you can stay at my house Dana.
I'd love to have a therapy session with all these guys. I've gone through some of the same stuff
Height trumps most things-Chris Rock
Love it❤
I’ve always liked Chris Rock. He’s funny and really smart
That guy from Pootie Tang!
Awesome!
I can't believe these people that are in the entertainment history don't have a microphone for podcasts
