Spider-Man 1 (2018) VS Spider-Man 2 (2023) Which is better?!

- Hey everyone, CW GAMES here welcome back today I have another side by side comparison. This time I will put Insomniac Games original Spider-Man title from 2018 against Spider-Man 2 from 2023. For me both Games are great for different as well as similar reasons. And neither beats the other for me. Coming from someone who absolutely loved the first game and will continue to till the end of time, Spider-Man 2 is basically just a huge upgrade to the first in everything besides story, even then I enjoyed the story in Spider-Man 2 more than the first.

Nice vid! Very interesting, although when you were showing some of the comparisons i found it difficult to see both comparisons at the same time if you get what i mean. I think it would've been much better if u played the 2018 one first and then the 2023 one THEN both at the same time. However this is just my opinion, you do what works best for you!

Swinging is a lot faster which I personally like, however that makes sense considering it’s a bigger New York City
Thank the PS5's SSD too bro I can confidently say Spider-Man 2's swinging is the best we've had in any SM video game to date, and I've played all of them including 2004. The story was great unlike the first game it is not perfect but solid my second favourite game story for SM behind 2018 and yeah, the best game in the franchise for me no one can convince me otherwise I will log in just to do a rubix cube quickly that's how crazy the game is brother!
Sucks that car chases were ruined and that the cops don't show up anymore. Honestly I find the biggest issues with the open world is the lack of police officers during crimes and the crimes being worse overall. Very depressing cause spiderman 2 is very close to being amazing
I get where your coming from bro to me Spider-Man 2 is beyond amazing I think highly of it that said I am beyond let down that the realism of the first game in terms of law enforcement isn't really there anymore. I guess from a viewpoint you could argue the cops trust the Spider-Men to solve every day crime through the FNSM whilst they catch the big fish but even then it is still foolish not ONE car appears to help us in a chase
It sucks sure but makes sense since spiderman has gotten stronger and more experienced in the second game

I can understand that brother! It was more life like and more of a friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man vibe that said SM2 is seamless and smooth which I love to be honest in my opinion SM2 and SM1 were masterpieces for different reasons.
Sm2 is better but its more woke
What's the point of making a bigger map if it's empty?
