Really enjoyed this, and so easy to scale up and make for lots of people as most of the work is done before you even cook.. very nice! If I were to make a base like this but for a Pathia, what would you change in the ingredients?
Thank you russell. I am glad you liked it. For pathia if you wanna make a sauce like this, you can do that. Add less sugar..add some redchilli powder..but make it paste with water first then you add it. But i will say make this paste..and when you make pathia add thsi sauce into your pathia. About 2 tbsp. It will taste nice.
Please would you mind sharing how to maybe BIR peshwari naan filling ? It is my favourite and there is no good recipe out there. I bet yours would be great.
Hi Syed, would you use the masala base in a restaurant style Chicken/Lamb Chilli Masala? A restaurant near me makes it and for the life of me I cannot understand how they get the taste in the sauce. If you have time, it would be great if you could do a vid for this recipe.
Britishian Food Great stuff! Don’t forget to put your ingredients and measures in your text description as that would be very helpful. Look forward to your next video 👍
Thank you for the recipe. How fine is the coconut you use? You can get different types of grinding? Is it a powder like almond powder, or is is tiny bits? Thanks in advance.🙂
Martin we use the powder one in the restaurant. But you still can use the desiccated coconut aswell. But we indian restaurant dnt use the desiccated coconut.
Nah mick i dont recommend that. Once you cook this sauce with base gravy and put in the fridge and pre cook again it makes the sauce thick. And you wont get the original taste what you get when you cook fresh. But you can try.
Two questions. Does coconut flour and coconut powder mean the same thing? I only find coconut flour in my stores. I also can't seem to find mint sauce, is it important for the taste or can I skip it or substitute it for something else? Thanks!
Thanks Chef I appreciate your reply.

Hello chef, are the pataks pastes essential for the recipe ? I have alot of issues getting the pastes in New Zealand
Well it is important for the recipe. But if you don't have you can use paprika paste. Or just skip it

Sorry mick.yes mango chutney is from jar. And to be honest I never kept it in freeze. In normal fridge you can keep it for 3-4 weeks.
