I just realized once more what a precious person Stolas is. He gets turned down by Ozzy because of Fizz' beef with Blitz, accepts it immediately and sticks around to help his friend get his lover back. And seems really happy for them at the end.
he’s such a cutie! “oh, i love words!!” when anyone else would just be groaning. also the fact that the whole reason he was there in the first place is to make sure blitz doesn’t have to rely on him anymore. like. ugh. STOLAS YOURE TOO SWEET!!
The fact the jester hat is to cover his destroyed horns HURTS. But.... he's secure enough with Ozzy that he doesn't feel the need to wear them to bed. That makes it better.
It also speaks volumes that Fizz has a choice of hat (one for bed/casual wear, a couple for performances, etc.) Ozzie knows its a sensitive subject so Fizz gets as many as he wants
@@msthecommentator2863It's super sweet. Clearly Ozzie wouldn't care either way, but if Fizz wants hats he gets all the hats! I do wonder if horns are a symbol of pride among imps. Fizz did taunt blitzo about his horn size, which I feel like doubles as a whole hey remember what you did to me, but also sounds a bit like an imp dick measuring contest. I wonder if big horns is a symbol of attractiveness or pride.
Love how the interactions between Stolas and Asmodeus are (mostly) calm, dealing with the lawyer, legal, lees, etc. Then it’s just Bliz and Fiz; chaos, in a musical number, rampant emotions and explosions. Freaking amazing
I love how Asmodeus didn't completely disrespect Stolas for saying he had feelings for Blizo, yes he dismissed the concept of love, but he didn't outright insult Stolas for having those feelings
I mean he was a lot harsher on Moxxie and Millie, I assume that was because there was a crowd and he had a reputation to uphold, but this episode ended with him being more open about it in public, this was an episode about making amends I guess since Blitz and Fizz are now on good terms, which means Stolas and Ozzie could be too, Ozzie realized quickly that he and Stolas aren't too different from each other so he sympathizes more with him
He didn't diss the idea of love, he was all for it, he dissed the idea of forced love, of love potions, he said he won't force blitz to love stolas, that it should be natural, if anything Ozzie expressed he sees love as admirable and would respect stolas, as shown in the end when he didn't care about showing his love Infront of stolas, even though stolas be one of the few who Ozzie can't keep quiet, if anything stolas is probably way more powerful than Ozzie and could bring him down and Ozzie knows it!
The fact that the white spots on Blitzo´s face are burn marks and Fizz being completely white except for where he had his clown nose is such an amazing detail
What makes this episode so good is the contrast between Fizzaroli, Blitz, Ozzie, and Stolas. Fizz and Stolas tend to be the dames most of the time and are not only terrible fighters but also the more "free birds" as they don't have any mandatory duties(at least on screen) and can focus on their hobbies. Ozzie and Blitz are the ones willing to fight whenever they need to and tend to find themselves behind a desk most of the time since they run businesses. Despite this though, Ozzie is more impulsive, not always thinking things through and as seen here, could've been duped into losing Fizz had Stolas not read the contract for him and told him what it was about. The same can be said for Fizz who's actions are all done out of desperation and impulse even in combat. He just threw whatever he had and didn't think about what would happen if he just lowered their cage with all the guards still alive and well. Blitz and Stolas are more calculated with Stolas immediately looking over the contracts to see if there is any fine print that people miss and end up signing their life to a bad contract while Blitz immediately thought of everything he was going to do the moment they escaped and what he would need to survive. Notably, he brought a hidden knife in case he was captured(to be fair, he goes out killing a lot so a knife could be handy), knocked over boxes to create a chain reaction that would not only kill or injure the guards but set them free so they did not have to worry about being killed right after they got down. Even when he and Fizz were being shot at, he was the one who chose a spot that not only provided cover but also gave him more room to maneuver. Even in melee combat, his moves are all thought out and calculated as rather than attacking the enemy, he let them attack him, giving him a chance to not only keep them from predicting his moves but also use them against each other. Even as they are escaping, he takes the time to grab ammo and guns off of dead goons whereas Fizz just keeps trying to run instead of getting anything useful.
@@kinxxhuh It took me several watches before I could come up with it but then when you listen to Fizz and Blitz's argument while running, you can tell that they are clearly interested in very different things and also have a vastly different skillset and level of experience. Afterwards, I just looked at how Stolas and Ozzie interacted with each other and when their loved ones were in danger(Ep 6 of S1 and this Episode.)
Lost both arms and both legs, horns got ruined, and majority of his skin was scarred white and still forgives blitzo. This imp has more forgiveness in his heart than most humans....
Like he says in the episode, Fizz has a pretty much perfect life. He's famous, he's successful, he has animatronic doppelgangers all over hell, he has a fantastic relationship, he lives in a mansion, has the backing, love, and support of one of the 7 sins, he's doing better than 99.999% of the imps in hell. His injuries didn't hold him back, he succeeded despite them. So, it's pretty easy for him to forgive Blitzø because it isn't like he ruined his life. Plus, they were best friends and had been best friends since they were very young, so again, it makes it much easier to forgive.
Biting gold was a common way to test it's purity. Since gold is a soft metal, if you bite gold and it dents it's almost completely pure gold. But if it doesn't dent then it's either fake or mixed with something that hardens it, making it less pure and less valuable.
The fact that Blitz was the one that started the fire that killed his mother adds a whole new layer to his character- he blames himself for ruining his sisters, fizzarolis and his own life, which Is maybe why he keeps himself emotionally distanced from Moxxie Millie and Luna, because he's worried that he'd only hurt them and make them hate him like he did with fiz and barbie wire, because from his perspective he only makes the lives of people around him worse.
Still, though, talk about a freak accident with the Circus Fire. All that because he couldn't confess to his best friend. All those lives lost or destroyed from a simple shove meant to portray his self-frustration. You'd think such a little emotion wouldn't be enough to cause such massive destruction. Poor Blitz has to survive and live through such an event, possibly on a day-to-day basis. Survivors of that fire need some serious PTSD therapy.
@janbertguerrero6988 honestly it's why birthday candles are lit after they reach the destination. If anything it's the guy who lit the candles beforehand's fault
Both Fizz and Blitzø having an "Oh well shit" moment when they realized that they were kept from each other and not ignoring each other was so gratifying actually
I️ love how Blitz and Fizz are in the middle of arguing but as soon as Striker even touches Fizz, Blitz looks so fuccing pissed. It’s the same vibe as “only I️ get to bully my employees”
Absolutely, I've never watched a show as violent as this one, but on the other hand, I've never watched one that has this much attention to detail and character
I know right? Plus it's like the first show about hell. I've seen cartoon tropes about hell but never a full fledged show about it until Vivzie came along.
Asmodeus and Fizzarolli are the best/cutest/greatest/loving couple that I've seen in the show. I love their bond/relationship. They both deserve each other. I'm so glad/happy that they have each other. I still hope if they make a new season of Helluva Boss, I hope/pray that they'll make an episode of Asmodeus proposing to Fizzarolli in marriage, and then they have a wedding, then they are married to one another. I really hope that will happen to them. They both deserve each other and they both deserve to spend the rest of their lives together. I really want that to happen in the show. I really hope that will happen. 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
The scene were Blitzo nearly broke down in tears while trying to say sorry to Fizz hit really hard, like geez, it genuinely like someone pouring their heat out.
My favorite thing about this episode is the fact that even after Asmodeus told Stolas that he wasn't going to give him a crystal, Stolas still stayed and helped stall the "Lawyer" until Fizzaroli got back. It really shows Stolas' kind, smart, and loyal nature. It is a wonderful little touch and it makes me appreciate Stolas even more than I already do. Looking forward to Blitz's reaction when Stolas gives him the crystal.
I feel like it helps that he tells Stolas that he wishes he could do it, and gladly would if it were for anyone else. Not to mention Stolas, if he didn't already know about "Hell's worst-kept secret", certainly does as soon as he sees how Ozzie reacts to the ransom message. They seem like good associates, if not friends, sharing a predicament and Stolas understands that there must be a reason for the rift and fully believes that Asmodeus would help him if his hands weren't tied. Not to mention, Ozzie *does* seem to know the details, and understand why Fizz has such a deep-seated hatred for Blitzø, and is respecting his partner's boundaries by not sharing details that Fizz wouldn't openly share (not to mention not wanting to break his partner's trust by going against his wishes and granting the request, even out of understanding for Stolas or even as a reward/present for helping him with the legal proceedings that he would've immediately signed and regretted if not for the help). Stolas is caring and especially understanding towards his peers who have shown him compassion. I mean, he put up with all the shit Stella put him through just so Octavia could have as normal of a childhood as possible, he's more than shown to be a caring individual regularly misunderstood and taken advantage of (even if he had the power dynamic of being a royal over Blitzø, Blitzø still very much used him for access to the Grimoire for his business, thinking transactional sex was the cost). It throws so many people in Hell for a loop that any demon, much less a royal member of the Ars Goetia, could actually be upfront and kind the way Stolas is. And I hope him and Blitzø can end up happy together in the end.
I think Stolas wanted the crystal for Blitz to let him go. He thinks Blitz sleeps with him only to get the Grimoire, so the crystal would give him the choice to stop or stick around. I think it’s more of a parting gift, so not really a nice surprise… :
@@Pyromon I disagree with that last point, mostly because I agree with the rest of what you said. The crystal gives Blitzø the choice to leave, but it also would allow him to stay and try again with Stolas, as their relationship would no longer have to be the transactional one he assumed it was. I think he's also more primed for that idea now after being able to work through things with Fizz. Probably helps as well that his previous toxic attitudes towards Stolas led to "Oh great, the fuckin' supremacist is on my side, wonderful."
Poor Striker. He just wants to win a fight without it turning sexual. I'm loving the running gag of him getting increasingly uncomfortable/frustrated when a hostage starts talking dirty.
You mean how he's becoming more of a rabid, mad animal than a logical, thinking being. Yeah, someone's going to have to put him down before he hurts himself.
@@SmileyEmps I feel that he'll be having a serious moment at some time in the future. His hatred for 'blue bloods' is too severe for it to just be due to some slight. It's my hope that his backstory will really bring it to life and flush out his character a bit more.
He's also beaten both Moxie and Millie together twice. Blitz I guess has gotten stronger since the last time they fought, but obviously can't win a fair fight against Striker even currently. Not that Blitz ops for the fair fight ever.
This episode is making me realize how advanced Hell is. I mean, Fizz gets to have a second chance at life with advanced robotic limbs. Imagine if humanity had that kind of technology.
same!! they seem like an interesting duo and we'd totally get some funny and awesome moments if they decide to give their dynamic a bit more attention :)
IKR- when the sneak peeks came out I genuinely thought that Ozzie was gonna be angry at Stolas for asking for help on his love life but he’s a genuinely nice and respectful guy as long as you stay in line 🥹
@@LOLrpop When I saw the sneak peak, I thought the shots of Stolas sitting were going to be him at home, after S1 E7. I thought Oz was gonna find out about the news articles calling him a hypocrite and well…react.
When you think about it, Asmodeus doesn’t have any issue with Stolas in the “House of Asmodeus” song. He’s just pointing out and complementing how Stolas is living in the “spirit of lust”. It is everyone else’s reaction that is negative, Asmodeus is simply complementing Stolas, for something Stolas isn’t proud of. It makes sense Asmodeus would get along with Stolas, even if Stolas now doesn’t get along with him.
I mean, he's realized Stolas can possibly die, and he's ruined his relationship with his sister again in trying to fix it so that he could have someone to go to in case Stolas dies. At this point, Blitz is starting to realize the importance of being honest to others, just so he can keep himself from being alone, isolated from everyone he used to care about & hurt. Of course, I don't think he'll fully get there for a while, but he's trying.
Stolas getting excited to pour over contracts and stalling the lawyer was hilarious. It was cool to learn he and Asmodeus are in fact friends, and I loved seeing the subtle display of his care and good nature in him helping Ozzie out with the contract negotiations. It's cool how genuinely nice he can be, and how much of a nerd he is LMAO
IMO its not that Stolas is "friends" with Ozzie, as a Goetia Demon, he is a subordinate to any Demon of Sin. That's why he had to request Ozzie for an Asmodeus Crystal and accepted that Ozzie can't give him one because Fizz hated Blitz0.
Blitz actually got to apologize to someone he wronged in the past, and the apology was accepted and the two reached an understanding?! What an unexpected twist!
Yeah, you can actually see him apologize to Blitzø over text for Asmodius, saying that's just how he jokes or something. I dont recall exactly, but it kind of implied that they were friendly, at least. So seeing how they acted this episode was really nice
Right I love their respect for each other, Ausmo actually pull a chair for his brother and he is stronger (I'm assuming he is) then him. Yet he isnt cocky and look down on anyone, heck that goes for all the lords (minus the father)
I’m actually genuinely impressed by the difference between this episode and the previous ones, writing wise. This one had MUCH better pacing and better timing on the jokes while also giving us important background info. Whoever was on the writing staff for this episode- KEEP THEM! They’re why I watch. I hope the future episodes continue improving!!
I had these exact same thoughts! So not used to this level of writing quality from HB. I Was surprised to see that the only writer on this episode was vivienne herself! Some of the other better eps have viv exclusively as a writer, too (The Circus for example, which imo is pretty solid)
Considering how awful Moxxie's childhood flashback was, Crimson's gotta be one of the most incompetent crime bosses I've ever seen. 20:22 He and Stryker even creep around Fizz because they're weirded out, rather than... Idk, grab your f'n hostage?
"You're still in the horse thing?!" is not only hilarious but also implies that Blitz has had a thing... for horses, ever since he was still in the circus. The lore expands.
We already saw that from the circus episode, Blitzo knew enough about horses to know how laminitis works. And when he was telling stolas about his fantasy about owning his own business he had already picked out names for his horses
Loved how Fizz explained to Blitz that becoming disabled didnt ruin his life, but just opened up other types of challenges, limits and possibilities. This has definitely been the best episode so far! Edit: WOW! Thank you for all the likes!
@@Chill_Gir1you know it to be honest I'm going to be I'm honest with you man I feel real sorry for everything that happened to him all those years ago now we finally know why he acts the way he does it's because he made one big mistake and it took his whole life away and now he's trying to build himself back up but sometimes you have to learn to own up to your mistakes try to fix it
Something that only 'clicked' on a rewatch: Stolas could've left at any time after Asmodeus said he wouldn't give him the crystal. He stuck around to assist in negotiations of his own free will (and maybe some self-interest, making sure Oz didn't sign a completely terrible deal that would radically alter the political power balance in Hell), and didn't leave until Fizzarolli returned alive. I think this is the first extended action Stolas has had on-camera that wasn't about Blitzø or Octavia. (Blitzø wasn't in the ransom video, so Stolas wouldn't have known he was also there.)
ESPECIALLY after Ozzie roasted him in front of a crowd for having the same relationship that he has and then kept him waiting, hat in hands, for four hours
The absolute satisfaction he showed when Fizz returned in one piece without Ozzie having to sign anything and knowing that sleazy lawyer was basically dead, too. As far as he knew that had nothing to do with him, he was just genuinely happy for them
Something that a lot of people overlook on this episode; Stolas going for the Asmodeous crystal for Blitz. The reason why. He sees that Blitz can't return his feelings, and from his view, doesn't even care. It's never gonna work. So instead, he decides to free Blitz. The imps need Stolas's book to travel. But the succubi just use the Ozzy Crystals. So what better way to say I'm sorry for me, than to give Blitz an Ozzy Crystal? Blitz will never have to see Stolas again, he can move on, and Stolas can go back to his divorce. He doesn't want to bind Blitz to him anymore, seeing how cruel that was. And he knows Blitz is sick of him in one way or another. He's getting Blitz that Asmodeous crystal so that Blitz will never have to see him again. So that Blitz is free, and Stolas can fade into the background in unrequited love. We the viewers know the big picture, but Stolas doesn't. He gets left on read, yelled at, ignored at Ozzy's, treated like garbage to be honest. He sees it as Blitz hates him and doesn't want to hurt Blitz by keeping said him bound to him for his profession.
It is kinda sad. Blitzo says harsh shit about Stolas but I know he really doesn't means it. Rather, what I mean by that isn't that he doesn't feel that way on the surface, but that deep down he's using his own insecurities about himself to dictate how he handles Stolas. He's effectively using his lower class status as a shield from feeling like he needs to take Stolas seriously, allowing him to take advantage of the perks afforded to him by his association with Stolas without needing to feel bad, because he's "giving Stolas what he wants". If he can leave it at some weird upper class kink, he doesn't need to invest his feelings into something that won't work out. There's pretty clear moments where you see Blitzo break out from that viewpoint for a split second, but then he hastily retreats back into it. Giving Blitzo the crystal is probably going both utterly annihilate their relationship but also be the catalyst towards rebuilding it from the ground up anew. What I'm hoping, anyway.
He's being that way because he doesn't think he's worthy of love. If Stolas gives him the crystal and continues to give Blitzø attention they might be able to get it through to each other that they BOTH care. Also if Blitzø and Fizz renew their friendship maybe seeing a healthy interclass couple can help Fizz see Stolas actually cares.
And just last episode, Blitzo simply stole a crystal from someone and likely didn't return it. He could easily get a crystal himself, but he chooses Stolas's book instead...
27 minutes, I already knew that the crew put their heart and soul into this, along with blitz and Ozzie getting along and seeing all their backstories. It’s a masterpiece
Never thought the healthiest example of a relationship I've ever see would be in a Helluva Boss episode. Let alone between a prince of lust and a clown. Incredible.
he isn't locked in the palace, Ozzi was worried about him going alone due to his popularity, and at the end the events confirmed his fears so he told Fizz that he's gonna have protection whenever he's going outside. nobody ever said that fizz was locked @@semorebutts2584
Talk about sheltered in his lil' honky tonk world. Seriously now, I'm starting to think Striker may be ace. It may be purely in contrast with the other characters, but I think he's the only one who has never made a single sex joke, innuendo, or made threats of that nature. Not even when he had Stolas tied up and was torturing him.
It’s because he wants so BADLY to be taken seriously, but people keep throwing out horny one liners and innuendos that it deflates the tension he craves. But it’s not even limited to horn-dog zingers either. He reacted the same when Stolas snarked about tying somebody to train tracks and self-aggrandizing statues. In short, he’s a slippery tryhard that loves the Spaghetti Western aesthetic and loses his cool when that gets redirected or he comes up short.
This episode was a rollercoaster of chaotic energy, humor, and unexpected emotional depth. The banter between Ozzie and Fizz is hilarious, especially with the airhorn antics and Ozzie's larger-than-life personality. There's a constant stream of witty one-liners, particularly around the absurd situations they find themselves in, like dealing with shipments of vibrators and the whole hostage situation. But beneath the humor, the episode does a great job of exploring the complex relationships between the characters, especially the tension between Fizz and Blitzo. Their past is touched upon in a way that adds emotional weight without losing the comedic edge, culminating in an intense but heartfelt confrontation. Fizz's distraction song is a fun and wild moment, perfectly matching the show's chaotic style, while the dialogue between characters like Ozzie, Stolas, and Fizz keeps things lively and unpredictable. The final reunion between Ozzie and Fizz is both sweet and comedic, giving us a glimpse of their strong bond.
Right? He may have lost his sister, but it's huge that he and Fizz have buried the hatchet. I do wonder who it was that kept them from seeing each other while Fizz was in the hospital. Seems very conspiratorial if you ask me.
I sense a new ship incoming. Crimson X Striker is going to be one of the new crack ships to come out of this episode, I just know it. Blitz X Fizz is going to be the new wholesome "friends reunited" ship. I'm calling it now, it will happen.
stolas helping asmodeous with reading the contracts to get back fizz back even AFTER asmodeous outright refuses to give the crystal to him only bc fizz hated blitz, man stolas too nice for his own good
I mean fizz had a good reason to hate blitz and asmodeus told stolas that he isnt saying no because he wants to say no. Also since they are royalty they probably know each other for a long time and asmodeus seems like a more down to earth guy so you can assume they have some history together
@@br2nd in this reality Stolas is only thirty something years old, while Asmodeus is a primal demonic force. In real life both are in the Ars Goetia, and the list of the seven sins demon lords includes Asmodeus *neither are dogma or even trustworthy sources, but fiction referencing fiction is common enough, especially public domain *why Dracula shows up as the king of all vampires in so much media, public domain, famous literary work, and all that* with demons easier and better name drops that the casual fan can find quickly than trying to crack open some ancient mythological figures to fill those roles for western media.
Ozzie and Fizz are absolutely adorable together, almost as much as Moxxie and Millie. Also, I love how even Ozzie, the embodiment of lust, stresses the importance of consent. Similar to how Bee-lzebub knows the dangers of using over-indulgence as a coping mechanism.
I’m rewatching after the Mammon episode, and I remember people being worried about how Ozzy is overprotective. Now, I’m realizing it wasn’t about him being out of the palace at ALL, it was about the spectacle Mammon was making of Fizz and the rabid unsafe fans as a result of that
Yes! I was very afraid of him being overly protective. But he did say "never leaving... without protection" just means he wants Fizz to be guarded. Now they're competing for healthiest relationship with M&M.
I love how the lord of LUST, which is supposed to just be for adventurous encounters, have the HEALTHIEST and most ADORABLE relationship in the entire series alongside millie and moxxie ❤ This has now taken the top spot as my favorite episode
This episode was beautiful. Not only did we get to see Stolas admitting his feelings for Blitz (practically for certain), Fizz and Blitz have made peace with their past. It’s cute how Fizz lets Stolas have the crystal for Blitz at the end, and I’m thankful that we’ve got to see a full episode on the pair of Fizz and Asmodeus.
honestly i think it was always pretty certain that stolas likes blitzo. what's nice is that we finaly get confirmation that blitzo likes stolas back, but doesn't allow himself to love because of a communication problem and/or personal problems. As opposed to the theory that blitzo's relationship with stolas is entirely transactional in blitzo's eyes.
I'm sorry skull, but the reason stolas wants that gift for blitzo is so he can break off ties with him because he knows deep down that blitz doesn't love him
i love that striker is slowly losing more of his composure every episode we see him, to the point where he isn’t even really in control from the moment he shows up cuz he’s so consumed by revenge.
I mean blitzøs is like one of the most annoying crews to lose to I feel especially seeing that Stryker is a very capable killer he is a pro and he keeps getting stopped by a bunch of imps that’s not good for his image
@@falconeshield If Stolas and Blitzø wasn't a thing I would want Stryker ending up with Blitzø. But at the very least I want him to turn around, because it seems he might have a sad backstory of his own. Or he's just a fuck up. However, for a redemption arc to happen a lot would have to happen first.
Stolas really is one of the most calm, collected, well meaning characters of this show. He was cool when Stryker caught him, chill when Ozzy freaked out, and was completely fine when assassins were trying to kill him He has a lot of power, but with that much power most people would let it get to their heads, and Stolas just isn’t like that
Being top tier powerwise or born so does that to a guy. Not much can really do efficient damage, and he knows that 90% he's not getting hurt. Even with Asmodeus, he knew he wasn't going to try to hurt him.
I want to add that 3:38-4:00 reminds me of that scene from Harley's Holiday (RIP Arleen Sorkin) where she's skating through Gotham while being pulled around by her hyenas, Bud and Lou.
The Fact that when fizz sees Blitz on the floor and the decides stop seems to me that fizz still cares about Blitz because if he didn’t care about him, he would’ve just ran him over😢
Fizz and Blitz finally connecting as great friends and setting aside their hate for each other is just what I wanted all along. I really love this episode. :)
"It was still my fault" was such a big moment for this character. The first season's Blitz likely wouldn't have been willing to admit that. He even stops himself, you can see the growth he's experienced. He has so far to go, but its very rewarding as a viewer to see him go from callous and uncaring to admitting he's at fault for certain things instead of pushing them away. Even more so, he says "I'm happy for you" and means it. It's a huge step for people who self victimize to admit they're happy and not envious towards the happiness of others. I don't like when analysts get angry at this show A DAY AFTER RELEASE PER EPISODE for being "too quick" it's fast because of the nature of what it is, you can still admit to how well written and researched it is for a TH-cam EXCLUSIVE SERIES, FULLY ANIMATED????? It has to move quickly because there's a limited time, a budget, a series arc that's dependent on what is seemingly a random algorithmic decision to promote it. The series existing has been a miracle and its encouraging as an artist to watch other artists thrive. This has been a beautiful undertaking and I'm so glad I've been able to watch from day one.
Hmm consent oh it’s far fun to hear the person agree to certain things. Forcing only causes negativity and other host of other problems but finding the right people or convincing them it is fun. Also a weird of love lust
He's not exactly _made_ of fire... In the Ars Goetia, Asmodeus (spelled Asmoday) he's described as "strong, powerful and appears with three heads; the first is like a bull, the second like a man, and the third like a ram or a goat; the tail of a serpent, and from his mouth issue flames of fire." He's also said to sit upon an infernal dragon, holding a lance with a banner, and amongst the Legions of Hell, Asmoday governs seventy two legions of inferior spirits (ie over 430.000 lesser demons is his employ).
I love Fizz and Asmodeus's dynamic. They're actually honest with their feelings unlike Blitzø and Stolas who hide and avoid the question if they ever come across it. (Which is sort of understandable considering their past.)
i would agree just with the tiny hiccup of the potential of ozzie seeing that fizz is an imp... based on the breakfast scene its possible he doesnt know and may have a different view of fizz.
@@TheTigerFx Possibly, but I also think the breakfast thing is more of Fizz not wanting to see the disappointment in Ozzie's eyes if their relationship were to ever go public (since at the end of the episode, Ozzie says "let them stare" when Fizz gets self-conscious over the fact that the staff is judging their relationship, because yk imp and high-ranking demon.) I will say that it is still a possibility that Oz doesn't know whatsoever.
Now I fully understand why Fizz hated Blitz, he thought that he tried to kill him over jealousy and envy but in reality Blitz didn’t mean for that to happen but it ended up losing his mother and I see why Barbie hates him as well. She blames him for their mothers death and Blitz blames himself more because he accidentally caused the death of his mother. Seeing this episode I’m glad that Blitz and Fizz can be friends again, I only hope that in the next episode Blitz would re-patch things with Stolas.
The next episode is probably going to be centered around IMP and the greed ring with mammon. But I have heard there should be an episode next year called “full moon” so Y’know.
Anyone else notice how nervous Fizz became when Ozzie went to fix him up again? I mean when Asmodeus held the scissors, Fizzaroli visibly recoiled. When Ozzie went to cut his sleeve off Fizz looked like he expected to be hurt- makes me wonder if he’s been hurt before while being repaired, or at least if nobody cared for his comfort
Others have mentioned this, but Barbie wears the same chocker we've seen on their mother in the photos Blitzø has of her. Their mother's death is definitely a sore spot for Barbie 💔
Unless Barbie realises that it wasn't Blitz's fault, then the animosity Barbie has for Blitz will still hurt him. And that's already sad to begin with 😔
She was also in rehab, maybe her addiction was caused because of the whole explosion and blitz. But your comment made me sit up in bed and go "oh shit"
It's genuinely ironic that Fizz is basically married to Asmodeus, the king of Lust in HELL. Yet he looks genuinely surprised and slightly disgusted when he learns Blitzø is still on the 'Horse thing'
12:11 Stolas helping Asmodeus not make a mistake like signing over all the assets and using Fizzaroli's head as a wall decoration just because he happened to be there is really sweet. 15:46 I guess we know what happened to Blitzø's mom now. Yikes. So what really happened is that Blitzø was so distraught by being unable to give Fizz the happy birthday letter that he didn't even notice the green fire started by the fallen birthday cake and lost everyone in one night. Dang. 16:30 AHAHA they're still in the place trying to get out but airing out their feelings in the middle of it and just yell at them cause they are having a moment that haven't had in years- 23:31 I love how Stolas just smiled at seeing the lawyer panicking and looked at him all smug knowing he was about to get wrecked, hilarious and well earned considering it was all Stolas being calm and enjoying reading the deliberately boring contract that helped him sign only a fair contract. Man's just reveling after how much that shark tried to scam them that he gets his comeuppance. And then, of course, both of them being wholesome and Fizz and Blitzø making up and Stolas no doubt getting the Crystal to give to Blitzø, I'd say this thing is a happy ending. (Seeing Asmodeus fixing up Fizz's arm personally tells me he does this often which is super cute hahaha.)
I wonder what sort of past they have, they seem to be close friends. I imagine Stolas understands the pains of having an affair with an imp bf that gets into trouble too
he basically showed as much when talking to fizz. saying how stolas does all these nice things "just for sex" looking hurt thinking its not genuine. meanwhile you see fizz briefly realize blitz isnt getting it (see stolas treat blitz as ozzy treats him) but cause they are fighting doesnt point this out to blitz
Exactly! I absolutely HATE when a show is just centered EVERY SINGLE EPISODE around a main character! I always like to be let loose for at least a quarter of the show, to be shown what other characters are doing
@@LaziSloth I think you can totally do either, but the character of some shows, most probably, is served far better by telling good stories with all the characters.
This...this was just perfect. It had everything. Fizz and Blitzo's backstory, and the aftermath, Fizz realizing there was something more between Blitzo and Stolas then he was letting on, and Blitzo being genuinely happy that Fizz was happy too, plus a song number! This episode just wins
There’s something delightfully hilarious about how the ever thirsty, cosmic all-knowing, embarrassingly devoted dad Stolas’ idea of a casual fun afternoon is reading contracts
If you ever become a parent, you’ll understand +both as a general parent but in stolas’ specific case, there, so much of his life is emotionally chaotic, traumatic and intense, it’s no surprise that paperwork became his only reprieve
I mean, we know he likes to read (and makes fun of his ex-wife because she doesn't). The guy is a total word nerd and it just makes him even more adorable to me ❤
We’ve always enjoyed reading over lists of things (which includes contracts) for fun, and ironically we also have a Stolas fictive in our system. It’s an aspect of how our neurodivergence manifests.
Okay, this was by far the best episode of the entire series! The character interactions, the lore behind so many things like Fizzy and Blitzo's relationship and what happened to Blitzo's mom, the action, the reconcilation between Blitzo and Fizzy, it was all amazing!
@@zeroderorero3948 to be honest this might be the only episode besides E1 to not do that, and E3 should have just had M&M fight together I mean E4 wants to present striker again but you show us the statute and we're supposed to take him and his backstory seriously past this point?
Okay, I'm rewatching this again and I just noticed something in minute 15:49 it seems Blitz is holding a letter with a heart on it that says "Fizz's eyes only" and a flower... Now I wonder what that letter said
I feel that Stolas has come to the realization (if incorrect) that Blizo doesn't love him. The fact he didn't once come to visit him in the hospital makes that clear. I think he wants the crystal so he can give it to Blitz, say something like "Now you're free of me. Be happy. Goodbye." and walk away. Blitz better be careful, or he'll lose what he has.
But at the same time it seems, that there is a misunderstanding between them, since Blitz seems to do not believe, that Stolas actually cares for him more, than as for a fuckdoll. Since Blitz explicitly said, that he thinks, that Stolas just enjoys being pegged by a lower class. I love the direction this season going, and do hope, that with the amount of emotional moments, where Blitz solve some of his past, he can salvage the relationship with Stolas too, as long he decides to actually talk to him
Or Blitz might just might reject the crystal and realize thar he has what needs. I mean, sometimes you learn that you already have everything you need just before you lose it if you think about it.
@@alyssaazzouni3198 Exactly. I think if Stolas gives him the crystal, Blitz will realize that Stolas isn't keeping him "on a leash" for sexual favors - he's giving Blitz the freedom to leave. This might make Blitz realize Stolas does care.
@@BeastRedAsh Definitely. Blitz craves intimacy but is afraid of getting hurt because he's suffered so much loss. He distrusts any relationship that he's not in a position of power over - which is why he's ok with adopting Luna and has come to care for Millie and Moxxie - but is extremely-reluctant to get close to Stolas.

I just realized once more what a precious person Stolas is. He gets turned down by Ozzy because of Fizz' beef with Blitz, accepts it immediately and sticks around to help his friend get his lover back. And seems really happy for them at the end.
Stolas had nothing to gain or lose by helping read the contract, but he did anyway. He's a good egg.

@@mediokay508 That, and he could always try some other time. Even if Fizz didn't give his blessing for it by the end of the episode.
Why are there so many of these fucking bots that use the same exact specific phrase on specifically this channel's comments?
@@msthecommentator2863It's super sweet. Clearly Ozzie wouldn't care either way, but if Fizz wants hats he gets all the hats!

@@RotheAlien maybe he does come from an Italian upbringing?
I love how Asmodeus didn't completely disrespect Stolas for saying he had feelings for Blizo, yes he dismissed the concept of love, but he didn't outright insult Stolas for having those feelings
I mean he was a lot harsher on Moxxie and Millie, I assume that was because there was a crowd and he had a reputation to uphold, but this episode ended with him being more open about it in public, this was an episode about making amends I guess since Blitz and Fizz are now on good terms, which means Stolas and Ozzie could be too, Ozzie realized quickly that he and Stolas aren't too different from each other so he sympathizes more with him
Thank you for noticing that! I was happy reading your comment
Yeah, and the only reason he bash them in episode seven was because he had to hold up a reputation, even though he was going through the same thing
@@JargonMadjinI think he was also harsh on Moxxie because Millie hurt Fizzaroli
He didn't diss the idea of love, he was all for it, he dissed the idea of forced love, of love potions, he said he won't force blitz to love stolas, that it should be natural, if anything Ozzie expressed he sees love as admirable and would respect stolas, as shown in the end when he didn't care about showing his love Infront of stolas, even though stolas be one of the few who Ozzie can't keep quiet, if anything stolas is probably way more powerful than Ozzie and could bring him down and Ozzie knows it!
It's so refreshing having Blitzø actually make up with someone from his past. I hope that can happen more often

I wish that happened with Blitzø and Barb but it didn’t but at least we have Blitzø and Fizz’s friendship!

@@CristianMartinezandothers well sure I may have thought it was a scar but not an actual burn scar from when he was a kid.
HOW DID YOU EVEN NOTICE THAT?? YOU'RE SO COOL‼️‼️
@@kinxxhuh It took me several watches before I could come up with it but then when you listen to Fizz and Blitz's argument while running, you can tell that they are clearly interested in very different things and also have a vastly different skillset and level of experience. It probably helped that they were best friends too
Like he says in the episode, Fizz has a pretty much perfect life.

@@JacklynBurn I agree entirely.

This showed so much of Blitz’s character development. I don’t think he opened up about his feelings to anyone this much before
OMG RIGHT
I mean, he's realized Stolas can possibly die, and he's ruined his relationship with his sister again in trying to fix it so that he could have someone to go to in case Stolas dies. Considering how awful Moxxie's childhood flashback was, Crimson's gotta be one of the most incompetent crime bosses I've ever seen. 20:22 He and Stryker even creep around Fizz because they're weirded out, rather than... Idk, grab your f'n hostage?
Striker asking "why is it always about sex" has the energy of the one serious character in an abridged series trying DESPERATELY to focus on the plot.

If the show plays things deadly serious.

@@Chill_Gir1you know it to be honest I'm going to be I'm honest with you man I feel real sorry for everything that happened to him all those years ago now we finally know why he acts the way he does it's because he made one big mistake and it took his whole life away and now he's trying to build himself back up but sometimes you have to learn to own up to your mistakes try to fix it
True
I Love how this scene labeled disabilities as just a stepping stone
it's too bad the rest of this season has been trash & even used SA as a joke.
Anyone else would LOVE to see a short of Fizz cooking that one time?
Further proof that Stolas is actually a really sweet guy
He’s just a good guy!
@monkebrain5majority?? No932
ESPECIALLY after Ozzie roasted him in front of a crowd for having the same relationship that he has and then kept him waiting, hat in hands, for four hours
"If you love something, let it go. If it comes back to you you can keep it." or something.
If I’m being completely honest; this made me cry
12:11 Considering the divorce with Stella, it's no surprise Stolas is trying to look through every fine print.

I still think it's hilarious that Striker is the only person who thinks it's weird with all the sex jokes and innuendos constantly being thrown around
Shame Striker wasn't present for the dildo joke in Crim's debut episode.
Talk about sheltered in his lil' honky tonk world.
Seriously now, I'm starting to think Striker may be ace. It may be purely in contrast with the other characters, but I think he's the only one who has never made a single sex joke, innuendo, or made threats of that nature. Not even when he had Stolas tied up and was torturing him.
he has dementia so he keeps forgetting he is in hell
It’s because he wants so BADLY to be taken seriously, but people keep throwing out horny one liners and innuendos that it deflates the tension he craves.
But it’s not even limited to horn-dog zingers either. He reacted the same when Stolas snarked about tying somebody to train tracks and self-aggrandizing statues.
In short, he’s a slippery tryhard that loves the Spaghetti Western aesthetic and loses his cool when that gets redirected or he comes up short.
Hes so asexual
This was needed. Blitz actually overcoming trauma and rekindling his relationship with Fizz was great.
@k32ev8inNo. No it isn't.
Right? He may have lost his sister, but it's huge that he and Fizz have buried the hatchet. I do wonder who it was that kept them from seeing each other while Fizz was in the hospital. Seems very conspiratorial if you ask me.

He's also said to sit upon an infernal dragon, holding a lance with a banner, and amongst the Legions of Hell, Asmoday governs seventy two legions of inferior spirits (ie over 430.000 lesser demons is his employ).

I love Fizz and Asmodeus's dynamic. They're actually honest with their feelings unlike Blitzø and Stolas who hide and avoid the question if they ever come across it. (Which is sort of understandable considering their past.)
Very true
Good observation 🫢
i would agree just with the tiny hiccup of the potential of ozzie seeing that fizz is an imp... based on the breakfast scene its possible he doesnt know and may have a different view of fizz.
@@TheTigerFx Possibly, but I also think the breakfast thing is more of Fizz not wanting to see the disappointment in Ozzie's eyes if their relationship were to ever go public (since at the end of the episode, Ozzie says "let them stare" when Fizz gets self-conscious over the fact that the staff is judging their relationship, because yk imp and high-ranking demon.)
I will say that it is still a possibility that Oz doesn't know whatsoever.
When Ozzie went to cut his sleeve off Fizz looked like he expected to be hurt- makes me wonder if he’s been hurt before while being repaired, or at least if nobody cared for his comfort
I noticed it too
It's probably because he rarely needed repairs like that and it is his body I would recoil to I someone had to chop off a prosthetic arm off of me
Fizz recoils anytime there is a knife near him - check the scenes with Striker & when Blitzø starts the escape plan

That’s a high possibility
That's what I was thinking. I can't say I blame her. I'd strangle my brother if he was the reason my mom died.

Okay, this was by far the best episode of the entire series! The character interactions, the lore behind so many things like Fizzy and Blitzo's relationship and what happened to Blitzo's mom, the action, the reconcilation between Blitzo and Fizzy, it was all amazing!
And just you wait someone will make a video "explaining" how this episode ruined *insert character here*
@@zeroderorero3948 to be honest this might be the only episode besides E1 to not do that, and E3 should have just had M&M fight together
I mean E4 wants to present striker again but you show us the statute and we're supposed to take him and his backstory seriously past this point?
damn, somone give this guy a non bot comment-
anyways, agreed 100%, it's now one of my favorite episodes
Okay, I'm rewatching this again and I just noticed something in minute 15:49 it seems Blitz is holding a letter with a heart on it that says "Fizz's eyes only" and a flower... Now I wonder what that letter said
Blitz' and Fizzarollis conciliation hug was probably the most wholesome thing in all of Helluva Boss.
That moment was soo cute 🥺
To bad blitzo ruined it by wanting to make out
I just got spoiled 🥲
I'm sorry for that. @@Cinabonz
@@Cinabonzwhy do you read the comments before watching the video… obviously people are going to talk about the episode lol
Helluva inspires me.. My parents said if i get 60K followers They'd buy me a professional camera for recording..begging u guys , literally
Begging..
Top 2 most wholesome relationship in this show:
1. Moxxie and Millie
2. Fizzarolli and Asmodeus
UGH I LOVE FIZZ AND OZZIES RELATIONSHIP SM 😭😭
after this episode for me personally the list is flipped
REALL
I guess the "full moon" episode is gonna be about the Asmodeus crystal
Don’t forget Tex and. Bee
22:28 you can just hear his fear and sadness in that scream
