The 2024 BMW 520i is the 8th generation 5 series and comes available in the base and M-sport trim variants. Both cars come equipped with a 2.0 litre 4 cylinder turbocharged engine mated to an 8 speed automatic with mild hybrid technology. This is good for 187 bhp and 310 Nm of torque with a 0-100km/h time of 8.1 seconds. Equipped with the latest OS8.5 infotainment system, the system comes equipped with quick select menus that are controllable via the multi function steering wheel, which also controls the full digital driver's display.

Would you choose this over an Lci G30

Haha. Putting me in a tough spot here. If I’m buying the car to keep up with the times and as a status symbol, I’d pick the G60. If I’m buying the car as a driver’s car - LCI G30 probably.
