Speaking as an owner of a Bichon Frise. These dogs are very smart and easy to train
they are the best puppies my first love was with a bishon
Personal experience, they're a bastard to train and extremely transactional - food for thing, otherwise no dice
@@drxym My Bichon is also insanly food motivated. Which is why he is so easy to train. There seems to be no limit to what I can teach him (despite him being 13 years old now, and still learns new moves) as long as I have some cheese, spaghetti or waffels to motivate him
Are those similar to Bichon Heat?
My coworker bought a doggie door that works with a transmitter on the dog’s collar so it only opens when he gets near, and other animals ( raccoons, rodents etc..) can’t get in. He couldn’t figure out why his electric bill was so high even for a Texas summer. Turns out the dog figured out if he laid outside in front of the door he could be outside in the sunshine but the dog door would stay open and and the air conditioning would blow though the dog door and keep him cool. Smart doggo!

Bichons are intuitive about the weather. They sometimes put their head and neck outside of a doggie door to check the weather.
Safest and least annoying method is a small outdoor fence and a doggie door.

We have a new Bichon puppy. She's a handful. She's smaller than Bow here but she can run FAST! We had two Bichons for 18 years so we know what we're getting into! They're all so cute.

This beautiful puppy reminds me of our Bichpoo Totsie. Same coloring etc. Totsie is 7 months now and lost all the fluff and is now just curls galore. Great smart dogs....
Bichons are extremely "clever" and "manipulative"! They are experts in getting their way by "hypnotizing" you with those round, black eyes which they use to
"stare" at you with until you relent!
