Holy shit! I'm a huge fairy tale nerd, and one of my absolute favourite ones is the one about the Old Fisherman. It represents Cordovin pretty well, in a way - keep wishing for greater and greater things, and you'll end up with nothing. It's a tale that embraces humility and being satisfied with the kindness that others are generous enough to offer.

i’m not sure if any of these are intentional (and there are probably more pieces of foreshadowing that i’ve missed / haven’t played off yet) but i’m still losing my marbles about them!! especially the “puppet with a heartbeat” line, because I feel like that one is the most clear or intentional-sounding!!!! so cool!!! :D

Thaddeus Kyle Boy whatchu talkin' about, Tai is the sweetest and most precious dad in Remnant. Not a high bar to be fair, but while they're off galavanting on their wild adventures Tai is making a home for this family. Sure Tai is a powerful huntsman and could probably be of help but I just want him to be happy and able to tend his sunflowers in peace.

There not really references to the characters. Its more to the fairy tales and nursery rhymes, which was a part of character inspiration.
What I'm trying to say is that the song is packing in the refrences to those nursery rhymes and fairy tales not the in show characters.
