hey Ed, I'm sure "The lock picking lawer" could open that safe up in less the 30 seconds lol, check him out, would be cool to see him open it and see whats inside haha!!
Former locksmith here, you don't need the LPL for that thing. It's not a safe, but more like a lockbox. Just break it open. It doesn't look like it has a keyway to drill so pry bar is the best way to go.
Genuinely happy for Ed, not only did he work his backside off to get to where he is but you can also tell he appreciates it soo much and is super happy. Straight up can't be jealous of that, glad your finally posting on this channel can't wait to see the progress of the restoration Ed!
This video was great because it showed the joy you had, the shifting, and the glorious sound. I think if you replace the broken bits and get a $25,000 paint job, you will be set. Keep all 3.
First time on this channel. I am not sure why, but this owner has one of the most engaging personalities, probably because his dry humor is on point and still talks to you like your next door neighbor. Love it, subscribed.
I think the matte black is what makes your roadster so special. Repainting it back to stock would be awesome but I don’t know about changing the color completely
Driving a car like this even in a parking lot would be a dream come true and probably make me tear up. Good for you man, you're not only living the dream but also sharing the experience.
This is one of those situations where you can clearly afford to fix it anytime, but if it was perfect would you get as much joy out of driving it? and it’s only going to continue to go up in value. Buy the body parts you need, stick them in the attic and keep driving it and enjoying it as is guilt free until someone makes you a way to insane offer.
There was something extra special about this video; it was easy to envision ourselves as viewers in the passenger seat and we shared the giggles as the revs climbed, made silly faces hearing that exhaust, and it was soothing hearing the click-clack of the gated shifter. Thank You Ed, really enjoyed this one! Oh and keep all 3 :)
A massive thank you for being yourself Ed! It’s your attitude that reminds me to laugh it off when my manual Gallardo throws random ESP lights occasionally that reset whenever you start it again. It’s all about the drive and the sound 🇮🇹
I think the biometric safe is the craziest non expected thing I've seen so far in a car, especially the fact that it's bolted down lol. Really intrested to know whats inside it Ed 😂
That dude who bought the car after Ralph ditched it is my hero. He enjoyed the car for all it had and didn't let it bother him too much if something got scuffed/scratched. People who obsess with details like that can't have fun in a car... not really.
I like this vlog format for you. It shows your infectious enthusiasm for these quirky backstory cars and makes a nice compliment to the vinwiki channel
The camera quality during the first drive omg makes you realize why car guys need cars. I’m 23 almost 24, hoping to experience that feeling that Ed has when driving this, one day , I’m working towards it
He himself does not seem to have any idea how to youtube but he knows his cars and he did this video anyway and im absolutely here for it. Thank you ed!
My car may only be a 27 year old Firehawk but that feeling of driving in the evening with the T-tops off or convertible roof down is just as good as a Murcielago to me
I'm 20 and I would say the Murci is my poster car. I have seen more Aventadors than I can count but only ever saw one orange murcielago coupe and it left me amazed with how pretty it was / still is.
I just saw an LP640 Roadster the other day while getting on the highway, it was getting off. I fell in love with it because of NFS Hot Pursuit 2 ~20 years ago (yikes I'm only 25 but feels like I'm getting old) and I'm right there with you. It's astonishingly pretty.
No interviewee, no collaborators, script or time crunch. Ed, you seem much more approachable in this mode. I can't wait to see your collaboration with the Lock Picking Lawyer. Thanks, it was a real pleasure.
I can't thank you enough for not murdering the pronunciation of Murcielago. About 15 years ago I had a customer with a gated 2004. It was charcoal gray and I think it was all wheel drive. I worked on it several times and got to drive at about half a dozen times or so. It wasn't mine so I never got to get into it. The cardinal rule was never beat on customers cars. Nevertheless everywhere I took it, heads turned.
Congrats Ed. I completely agree, the Murci is the best sounding car of all time. I followed a yellow roadster home from C&C the other morning and it was a religious experience.
I love seeing Ed just enjoying the car. Giddy like a school kid about this crazy car. Can’t wait to see it all cleaned up eventually and hope to see more content with you just cutting loose and enjoying the cars!
Fantastic! Contagious enthusiasm. Good idea to take the car back to Italy. A factory restoration. Rent a villa in the neighboorhood and afterwards, an Ed Bolian Euro Summer Tour 2023.
If there is one thing you really show in this vid (and in car trek too), it is that usually the best cars are the ones that dont try to be more than cars. Murci? Here is a car. Good looks, good suspension, good engine, good transmission all for the purpose of doing those roles the best that they possibly can. You input, car responds exactly as you input. You are driving the car. It isnt like many overly fancy and complicated ones where you are not a driver. I cannot stand it when I am driving and it feels like I am asking the car to do something, and then it decides what it wants to do.
Hey Ed, when did you start this channel? It's been popping up on my feed for a couple of weeks now, and I want to know if I need to take a week off and catch up lol. By the way, thanks for putting up your own channel and giving us more insight to world of Ed Bolian!
Great video!! Im suscribing to your channel Ed! Please keep uploading content this often.. and really looking forward to see this Murci being restored! Keep the 3!!!
Ed - you are definitely down with the sickness. I wish anyone could find the joy you find in taking your LP-640 out for a drive in whatever it is they love.
If it were me, I’d send it back to the factory Ed. Bite the bullet. Of the three you deserve to have one that is truly a concours level car that is worth every penny of the valuation placed on it.
The JOY in you looking in the mirror and then flooring it! As always, you have a way with words/What a racket this thing makes I love this ratty state ngl, you probably can't see out of the windscreen because you don't slouch as much as in your LP640 coupe? I imagine? What a car though.
As someone who recently had a front bumper repainted because of chips, it definitely makes you feel better when your car is closer to perfect. The issue is that I now am now significantly more carefully. Before, I didn’t care as much because it was already messed up.
The biggest hooptie LP640 i've ever seen. With that being said, please give this thing a proper sorting. What a beautiful machine, it deserve so much better than this level of disrepair.
As it is from an owning/ driving perspective, the ideal way to drive it is as is and just have the bumpers and mirrors somewhere safe, probably the vineiki set til its tol to sell and put a decent coat of psint on it. The curren paints busted so leave it til sell time and wrap it
6:06 My dog tilted her head at the cold start because she was unsure if the noise was an animal about to attack. She's never done that for any other car sound.
Love these videos, really makes a difference to see someone that makes you believe you could own a car like this one day. The video is hilarious as well
I love VinWiki stories, and now that you have this channel to follow up on your exploits, of course I subscribed. An idea, wrap it in orange for the time being so you can enjoy it even more. Godspeed and keep it up.
hey Ed, I'm sure "The lock picking lawer" could open that safe up in less the 30 seconds lol, check him out, would be cool to see him open it and see whats inside haha!!
Fuckin love that dude. Man is legit 👌🏾👌🏾
I was about to comment on the same thing, then saw this. Lock Picking Lawyer could probably walk Ed through on how it's done over the phone even.
LPL will open that thing with a redbull can in 20 seconds flat, including opening the car door :P
Former locksmith here, you don't need the LPL for that thing. It's not a safe, but more like a lockbox. Just break it open. It doesn't look like it has a keyway to drill so pry bar is the best way to go.
Wow I just checked out his channel, some really good info. Never knew about it until now.
Genuinely happy for Ed, not only did he work his backside off to get to where he is but you can also tell he appreciates it soo much and is super happy. Straight up can't be jealous of that, glad your finally posting on this channel can't wait to see the progress of the restoration Ed!
I was thinking the same. Ed's in a great spot but he's still humble enough to appreciate it and that makes his content top quality.
That's what I was thinking. So very happy for him. God is good...
Sounds like that bio-metric safe on the passenger floor board is the perfect opportunity to do a collab with The Lock Picking Lawyer.
Arent there mobile locksmiths who open stuff for money ?
Now there is an interesting Collab!
This video was great because it showed the joy you had, the shifting, and the glorious sound. I think if you replace the broken bits and get a $25,000 paint job, you will be set. Keep all 3.

Love it, subscribed.
I think the matte black is what makes your roadster so special. Repainting it back to stock would be awesome but I don’t know about changing the color completely
Such an enjoyable video. The excitement of Ed when driving truly transfered through the video. Love it!
Driving a car like this even in a parking lot would be a dream come true and probably make me tear up. Good for you man, you're not only living the dream but also sharing the experience.
Ed I would love to see more content like this from you. I love the vin wiki stuff but this style suits you well.
Forget the Lambo, those air hoses on the walls are garage goals! Love the videos Ed!
You’re so much better than Shmee, I love how authentic you are
There was something extra special about this video; it was easy to envision ourselves as viewers in the passenger seat and we shared the giggles as the revs climbed, made silly faces hearing that exhaust, and it was soothing hearing the click-clack of the gated shifter.
Thank You Ed, really enjoyed this one! Oh and keep all 3 :)
I love how unapologetically nerdy Ed is for his cars. I’m living vicariously through him.
This is why I love these pieces. When you see the likes of Ed, Hoovie, Tavarish, Shmee, SOL, STG etc the joy on their faces. It’s ace. Love it.
No stradman?
Ed is at that level, where he can forget everything, VinWiki, Stories, Trek videos, etc. and just make ASMR videos with his 3 gems!
A massive thank you for being yourself Ed! It’s your attitude that reminds me to laugh it off when my manual Gallardo throws random ESP lights occasionally that reset whenever you start it again. It’s all about the drive and the sound 🇮🇹
Thanks for the smiles Ed!!!😃
I loved the big open mouth smiled, awesome seeing Ed so happy...
Just keep driving them Ed, that's what they were made for. I really appreciate that you do drive your cars, too many are just garage art
I think the biometric safe is the craziest non expected thing I've seen so far in a car, especially the fact that it's bolted down lol. Really intrested to know whats inside it Ed 😂
I think a colab with LPL (LockPickingLawyer) would be great to see!
its a gun safe, not sure if they would have left their gun in there, most likely took it out and locked it back, forgot to hand the key over
It was most likely for a handgun, but was probably taken out before the car was sold so it's empty I bet.
The previous owner sounds like an absolute lunatic, lmao.
Best thing about Ed is that he's honest ..an if he says having 3 merci's is best ...then I believe him
That dude who bought the car after Ralph ditched it is my hero. He enjoyed the car for all it had and didn't let it bother him too much if something got scuffed/scratched. People who obsess with details like that can't have fun in a car... not really.

Good for you Mr Ed your channel is just the best . I am glad to see you out enjoying your much deserved toys . God Bless your family and your self.
Matte black 🖤
Not how the previous owner did it, of course! But just the look!
It actually is a factory Matte Black car, he only spray painted parts of it.
He himself does not seem to have any idea how to youtube but he knows his cars and he did this video anyway and im absolutely here for it. Thank you ed!
My car may only be a 27 year old Firehawk but that feeling of driving in the evening with the T-tops off or convertible roof down is just as good as a Murcielago to me
Your enthusiasm and positivity is something everyone should take note of. You’re one of my favorite content personalities.
An evening drive with Ed in a supercar hearing him just talk about life - bucket list. More of these!
😃 there is no better Ed, than a gitty Ed! I am stoked to see you stoked & enjoying yourself Mr. Bolian.
Cheers!
This is exactly how I feel when I drive my LP640. Love it
Pls do more of these videos. And Ed your narration is awesome.
Ed IS a certified BALLER!
I still think you, Damon, Freddie, Tyler, James, Randy, and anybody else need to go on a Murci Rally. :-)))
I'm 20 and I would say the Murci is my poster car. I have seen more Aventadors than I can count but only ever saw one orange murcielago coupe and it left me amazed with how pretty it was / still is.

Thank you for making these videos and congratulations on all your success!
Excellent one ED! Some of those shots with the three examples side by side! KILLER! Great taste as always sir! -🤘
Ed and a spirited video about his love for LP640s ✅
I can't thank you enough for not murdering the pronunciation of Murcielago.
About 15 years ago I had a customer with a gated 2004.

Still a dream car, no matter what shape she is in. Congratulations Ed, if anyone can make her shine it's you !!
Id rather have one in this condition than a museum piece.
Cool roads in the burbs of Atlanta to rip around too. thanks for the car envy Ed!!
I love seeing Ed just enjoying the car. Giddy like a school kid about this crazy car. Can’t wait to see it all cleaned up eventually and hope to see more content with you just cutting loose and enjoying the cars!
Great to see you uploading again. As always love the content.
I ain't mad. Happy for you, Ed. Killing it.
Fantastic! Contagious enthusiasm. Good idea to take the car back to Italy. A factory restoration. Rent a villa in the neighboorhood and afterwards, an Ed Bolian Euro Summer Tour 2023.
I swear Ed is the man ! Rock on brother 🤟
Ed...check out some lock picking lawyer videos. You can probably get into that safe with a table fork.
very underrated comment
His videos are so eye opening 😅
Agreed.
3 of the same car that he can't fit in comfortably. Imagine how much more he would enjoy them if he was 5' 10"
Its why I'm thankful that I'm 5'8-5'9 lol. I can fit in just about any car out there comfortably. Miatas however feel too small for my liking.
Congrats on the full collection.
If there is one thing you really show in this vid (and in car trek too), it is that usually the best cars are the ones that dont try to be more than cars. Murci? Here is a car. Ed, you have really grown in front of the camera! Fantastic Upload Brother 👊🏼
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I’m so pleased for you Ed that you’ve got 3 Murci’s in your garage. Hope you manage to keep them forever! 🙏🙏
My personal preference on color would be Verde Ithaca. Lamborghini’s look so good in green.
Verde singh
@@Glibzer was that an option on the Merci?
Wow two back to back videos👍Keep the content coming Mr Bolian 🙏
Liking the change up in format for your cars. Very cool.
Ed. You’re probably the coolest guy on TH-cam. Living the dream man.
Hey Ed, when did you start this channel? It's been popping up on my feed for a couple of weeks now, and I want to know if I need to take a week off and catch up lol. By the way, thanks for putting up your own channel and giving us more insight to world of Ed Bolian!
Love the sound. Not more than an LFA but the sound is awesome haha.
Great video!! Im suscribing to your channel Ed! Please keep uploading content this often.. and really looking forward to see this Murci being restored!
Keep the 3!!!
What a car collection Ed has!
" If you have the roof on you can only go 130 so what good is that" now that is something I strive for!!!!
Ed - you are definitely down with the sickness. I wish anyone could find the joy you find in taking your LP-640 out for a drive in whatever it is they love.
@6:12 LOVE the license plate! Gated indeed!
Love seeing Ed with his “Murci slouch” on!
If it were me, I’d send it back to the factory Ed. Bite the bullet. Of the three you deserve to have one that is truly a concours level car that is worth every penny of the valuation placed on it.
Dude, your love for cars is contagious! I live my dream of owning exotic cars through you my friend!
Thank you 🙏 for sharing your passion!!!💪🔥👍👌
WOW...Sooooo cool!
Congrats Ed.
I can literally sit here and watch Ed drive / talk about his lambo’s all day. This man built his whole empire straight from the muscle. True hustler.
My former boss used to own this cars twin! Lp640 roadster in matte black with the gated manual. So cool
Great video, I love cars with odd and bad pasts fall into the hands of new owners who can take care of them.
The JOY in you looking in the mirror and then flooring it!
As always, you have a way with words/What a racket this thing makes
I love this ratty state ngl, you probably can't see out of the windscreen because you don't slouch as much as in your LP640 coupe? I imagine?
What a car though.
Imo, not having the carbon fiber stuff in the interior makes it look so much better.
I always love that purrrr whenever a Murci starts
As someone who recently had a front bumper repainted because of chips, it definitely makes you feel better when your car is closer to perfect. The issue is that I now am now significantly more carefully. Before, I didn’t care as much because it was already messed up.
Ed is truly living his dreams. For me I'll be more than happy to have an SLS GT. SLS Roadster and SLS Black Series.
I think this is my new favorite TH-cam video!
The biggest hooptie LP640 i've ever seen. With that being said, please give this thing a proper sorting. What a beautiful machine, it deserve so much better than this level of disrepair.
2 videos in one year ed!!! keep them coming please Señor
Hey Ed, those biometric safes can typically be opened with a rare earth magnet. Just something to look into ;)
As it is from an owning/ driving perspective, the ideal way to drive it is as is and just have the bumpers and mirrors somewhere safe, probably the vineiki set til its tol to sell and put a decent coat of psint on it. The curren paints busted so leave it til sell time and wrap it
Congratulations 🍾🎊🎈🎉 on achieving so much happiness. While you drive. Along with the blessing of your friend and family.
9:45 alright settle down there Ed 😅
Looks amazing such a good night can feel it just watching, never seen the open roof glass engine cover before
The matte black murci makes the verde Draco look so cool when they’re next to each other
A very nice project car, you certainly picked a royal winner Ed!
It would be interesting to follow the journey to restore your roadster
Enjoyed the look on your face just driving it around your neighborhood.
No idea how you can say this sounds better than an LFA. That car literally growls at you, then plays the trumpet, and finally screams in your face.
Agree sir, his opinion is a bit bias i think.
I believe the LP640 sounds better than LFA
If Tyler Hoover is the premium beer of car youtubers, Ed is the champagne 🍾
6:06 My dog tilted her head at the cold start because she was unsure if the noise was an animal about to attack. She's never done that for any other car sound.
LOL now thats funny
Great Video! Happy to see you posting more
Nice to see a car that has been used and enjoyed for its drive
Love these videos, really makes a difference to see someone that makes you believe you could own a car like this one day. The video is hilarious as well
I love VinWiki stories, and now that you have this channel to follow up on your exploits, of course I subscribed. An idea, wrap it in orange for the time being so you can enjoy it even more. Godspeed and keep it up.
